For gluten-free rejuvelac, one can use in place of wheat berries any of the following grains including amaranth, buckwheat, millet, quinoa, teff, etc. One can even make chickpea rejuvelac! Chickpea rejuvelac has a distinct flavor compared to grain-based rejuvelac. It's a great way to incorporate probiotics into your diet! Feel free to experiment with other legumes like lentils or mung beans, etc.
@@sandraratliff2572 just go to your grocery store and see which ingredients the store has in supply. Even barley can be used. Your decision might be based on cost. Other probiotics like kombucha and water kefir are made with sugar. This is not. So, you are saving money and creating a “healthier” drink. Annette stated you can add the drink to smoothies and even drink it straight. It’s your preference and it’s your exploration and journey. You may find some of the seeds will sprout after just 3 days. This is definitely the case with lentils, mung beans, possibly chickpeas, etc. Annette has show how to eat sprouts, too. Be blessed!
Very glad to see this. I’m using spelt. I filed 1/4 of my half gallon jar with the grain. Over the 4 days, it has increased in size so that it totally fills the jar. I don’t think I will get as much water. I suppose next time, I’ll use less grain. Thanks for your help.
Same happened to me & I just put half in another jar so I have 2 going at same time. Maybe it’s the type of wheat🤷🏻♀️. Mine doesn’t specifically say, it just says whole wheat berries but looks like hard red…
This is my first try and I'm using Kamut. This is Day 4 and my berries now totally fill the jar. I will try splitting the berries and using two jars. Thanks for your comments. Thank you, Annette, for this wonderful video!
Super excited to try this!!! I saw someone leaving a comment for gluten free rejuvelac so i think i will try that. I try and stay away from gluten as much as possible with my fibromyalgia. And i just love this channel right now. So helpful in improving my health!!!
When I was a child (many moons ago) mom use to make Barley water for us. She boiled the water and allowed it to cool down then did more or less what you did.
The best flour for humans is using dryed sprouted wheat grains. This year I'm self teaching all about wheat. Even growing a patch. I got 2 - 50 pounds of grains to experience with. I'm also concerving 1 for emergency. Thank you for this precious informations. How can you tell its probiotic ?
Wow, love this wealth of knowledge you have. I’m excited to try this. Thank you so much!! Have you done a video on osteoporosis and how you can help reverse that, love to hear your ideas!
I’m going to try to make something else with it first, like MomCN suggested. Even if it’s been “used up,” it’s still got to be better than 90 percent of anything at the grocery store.
Thank you❤What Wonderful Idea🥰I wonder if you could do this with organic broccoli seeds I wonder if the water would capture the Siphoraine in broccoli? 🤔👏🏼🥰
I use Sorghum Wheat.....i accidentally stumbled upon a youtube on the benefits of Sorghum.... I sprout the seeds...boil for 20 minutes....and enjoy a flavorful yummy nutty goodness..
Do you have a cookbook that has this probiotic drink and lots of other recipes for breakfast like in lunch and dinner if so how much would the book cost if ordered over the internet
I would cook them maybe, I wondered the same thing about there being a way to use them, but I know for ezekiel bread, grains must be totally dry to mill them
Eating Ezekiel bread is a sign of enduring judgement from God. It's a bread made to hold off starvation, a desperate measure. The grains wouldn't be completely void, but after using the grains for so long, they would be low in nutrients, next to nothing.
Ezekiel bread is incredibly healthy and by itself sustained life for ezekiel for a year, it's full of incredible nutrients in their whole form freshly ground and eaten right away, just the way God told us to eat, seeds!
@The Biblical Nutritionist, my finished, refrigerated water has a white substance settled at bottom of jars…do I stir it to incorporate before pouring or just leave there?
I'm sorry, what is the daily dosage? Especially after taking amoxicillin? ( I had to take antibiotics for recent diagnosis of diverticulitis) I now need to rebuild the good bacteria in my body and get rid of this nasty , very itchy head to ankle, rash. Then you inadvance for your kind help.
Greetings mam, plants will ferment in atmosphere we make, will fish after chopped ferment the same way. If not then will it do good inside the any one eating it
I’m a little confused. Day 4 fill with water and leave for 48 hours. So day 5 is actually do nothing day, then you pour it off on day 6? And the instructions for day 6 are actually day 7? Love your video. Just found this channel.
Thank you for the recipe. I have tried twice. I cannot get past the smell on day 2?? What am I doing wrong? Should it make my whole kitchen smell rotten?
It's my understanding that heat kills probiotics so it seems like a waste to use your probiotic water in cooking and baking aside from the B vitamins.Thank you for the instructions.
I’ve had this problem before on other channels. I’m deaf in my right ear and it seems that the sound is only playing on one side or the other. I can’t hear this video at all, so would assume the sound is only playing in the right speaker which I can’t hear. Not sure what the fix is, except closed captioning in this case.

Thank you. Celiac here and was pleased you have shown alternatives.
I use quinoa for rejuvelac, and then I use it to make coconut yogurt ,yummy
Thought you might want to make and start drinking it ❤️
A small suggestion - instead of wasting the water by pouring it down the drain, use it to water your vegetable garden or other plants
Good suggestion
I was just thinking that’s a lot of filtered water! It takes a while with my filter to get that much water. Sounds good, but sounds time consuming.
And it maybe a good idea , after you have finished with the wheat sprouts. you can grow as wheat grass.👍
Can’t wait to make this probiotic water- I have sourced organic grown wheat berries from Azure Standard- thank you snd may God continue to bless you
Very interesting. My family also lives by God's food laws. ❤
Thank you for sharing your wisdom.
You’re a lovely lady. God bless you sister ❤

You can use quinoa, brown rice, millet or other grains as well, if you prefer it to be gluten-free.
@@TheBiblicalNutritionist thank you i will try that!
How much millet do I need to use? I really enjoy your channel.
I use quinoa for my rejuvelac, and then I use it to make coconut yogurt, yummy 👍
@@nairaalaverdyan6264 ooh please share how you mske coconut yogurt! I have tried twice and been unsuccesful. Mine comes out way too runny.
Awesome praise the lord 🙏 ❤ thanks for sharing ❤

Thanks for sharing. Must we use wheat grains only. What are the alternatives. God bless you IJN.
Thank you. Just one question. Doesn't cooking with the water kill the probiotics?
Thank you for sharing this recipe I need to buy all the things first 😊

Can you use the sprouted wheat for sprouted wheat bread? Instead of tossing to the birds.
Yes
The leftover berries won't have much nutritional value left. So I just put mine in the compost to feed my garden.
I’m going to try to make something else with it first, like MomCN suggested. Even if it’s been “used up,” it’s still got to be better than 90 percent of anything at the grocery store.
@@djlane5213I don’t think anything is washed away or “used up” except phytates. It will be sprouted wheat, so dehydrate it then grind into flour.
Hi Annette Reeder be blessed💖🙏🏻
Same to you!
Can the leftover grains be dehydrated and ground into flour for making sourdough bread? Thank you for your wonderful teachings!
watching you maam from Phillipines..

sulforaphane :D
Interesting! I've got broccoli sprouts underway now... might give it a try.
That's interesting. I have not personally tried it, so I'm not sure. I only used wheat berries. 🙂
Does anyone know if the wheat kernels could be dried out and then ground for flour? Do they have any nutrition left after making the water?
Thank you!
I don’t see the links for the jets and lid?
Hi, God bless you abundantly, more Tips
Thank you!
What's wheat berries in uk
Are you rinsing the grains with chlorinated water from the tap and then soaking in filtered water? I've always wondered about this rinsing step.
I use tap water to rinse first and second, and for the third rinse I use filtered water as well as to soak.
Thank you! Can you use other grain berries. Why can you not eat the berries after sprouting?
Very nice 👌
Thanks 😊
Please is rice advisable for this process?
Good show 👍
Thanks so much! 👩🏼🌾

Could you give more instructions? Are you letting the seeds ferment? When do you boil? Thanks
Can the sprouted grains be used in smoothies .
Can u use pearl barley to make this
If you use this water to cook, would the high temperature kill all probiotics?
Does this final water need to be refrigerated & how long does it keep?
Yes, you need to refrigerate as shown in the video. It keeps up to a week in the fridge.
This was so helpful, I love how it's inexpensive, super easy, and simple. Thank you so much for sharing!

Can we use tap water to rinse? Doesn’t all of our tap water have chlorine?
Thank you so much 🪻🪴
Welcome!
How long is the drink good for?
❤in hot water the probiotik gos out????❤❤❤
I would suggest saving the water from all the sprouting process outside for plants or potted plants :)
Can the sprouted seeds be used to bake if dried before grinding or are the nutrients gone? Thank you 😊
The nutrients will be less after soaking.
Nice video. How long does it last in the fridge?
Thanks. Up to a week in the fridge.
what is the name, / type wheat berry are you using .
I love your channel.
Thanks!
can i maybe make that with oat grain (not oat flax)
I have not tried it yet.
Can you use the sprouted grains in soups and stews, besides giving them to the birds? They are definitely beneficial for birds.

I’m a little confused. Day 4 fill with water and leave for 48 hours. So day 5 is actually do nothing day, then you pour it off on day 6? And the instructions for day 6 are actually day 7? Love your video. Just found this channel.
I noticed the 48 hours also. I think it should be 24 hours instead.
Where do you buy that stuff??
Can you do this with brown rice?
Yes, you can, if you prefer gluten free.
Maybe I will try it with sorghum
Thanks for the idea. I tried it, but it smells horrible! Is that normal?
Cany you eat the berries afterwards? If so how?
Is it supposed to be bubbly on top?
Thank you for the recipe. I have tried twice. I cannot get past the smell on day 2?? What am I doing wrong? Should it make my whole kitchen smell rotten?
Hi Annette, thank you for this. Do you think rhis can work with sorghum?
I think so!
I'm curious how would we potentially get rid of the anti-nutrient coating? Do we do a vinegar water soak first or are we to go straight into this?
Soaking is the process to remove!!

You can use gluten free ones such as quinoa or amaranth.
Are you rinsing it out with ordinary tap water then adding distilled water?please, could u help me understand.
Yes, I rinsed using tap water and I used distilled water to soak.
