It's like $160 for the rim, jack and hanger kit. Then you need the tire which is around $120. All part numbers are in this video th-cam.com/video/xHkTsUakV4E/w-d-xo.html
You can contact the Acura dealer on that question... I don't use a torque wrench, but I always tighten everything really tight and try NOT to snap any bolts.
Tire does NOT come with the kit. Even if you buy a kit with tire, it will NOT be installed, and you will have to find a tire shop to install it. I bought the Rim, Jack, and the hanging kit from the acura dealer. Since i know someone who owns a tire shop. I got the tire from a local shop. Well good luck... all part numbers are listed In part 1 of this video here's the link th-cam.com/video/xHkTsUakV4E/w-d-xo.html
Same here always good to have a spare. I'm not a fan of the run flat tires. If you hit a curb and damage the side walls. Then the run flat tires will go completely flat. We'll thanks for watching
@stephanek1786 Well, self-sealing tires don't work if you hit a curb and damage the side walls. Once, I had to leave a car in a parking lot overnight on a jack stand when the wife hit a curb and the car did not come with a spare. Well, thanks for watching
@@onesimpledad your video is well done and definitely helpful. I was giving the reason why Honda didn’t include it. There is also a weight reduction on the line. I guess those people that can afford a type-s can afford a towing service 😂

bravo! you couldn’t have made a better video about it than this.
@JuCho3 Thank you. I appreciate all the kind words, and thanks for watching
Great video. I feel a little better about this option. Thanks again. 😊
Yes, it's well worth adding a spare tire. And if you install the kit yourself, it saves a ton. Well, thanks for watching
Nice job
Thanks

@onesimpledad thanks for the response. I was able to get one and install myself. You're right I don't even know it's there.
Great video. Any idea if this kit will fit a 2020 MDX Sport Hybrid?
I'm not sure you would have to check with your local Acura Dealer. Well, thanks for watching

Thanks, almost took this car off the list when I heard 'no spare'.

You don’t need a spare tire on an type-s. It’s self seal.. made on purpose
