Now when you compare Albanian prices with those of UK seems like the prices in Albania are very cheap. But if you live & work in Albania they are not cheap but normal. In UK (or in my case in New York City, US) we pay almost $20 for Burger King combo meal (in USA) which consists of Whopper with cheese, medium fries & medium coke. US economy is very powerful but if you are an American like myself everything in here is very expensive and sometimes not in good quality. So basically living in New York City is damn expensive and majority of the New Yorkers can't afford to eat out regularly. That's why the word cheap needs to be replaced with affordable!

I am from Shkoder is a beautiful city.my advice to you if you want to have a proper traditional food from shkoder go to village called shiroke by the lake shkodra to have a traditional dish called tave krapi eitch means carp from the lake .
I went to a school trip in Shkodra it was so beautiful and we paid no money go to to the castle cause we were a lot of kids and they charged us nothing😂 but its was a beautiful experience
