Heard a song from Nathaniel Ratecliff and the nightsweats on local radio station kpig 107.5 in Freedom California,checked them out and saw some references to this band..i couldn't agree more with your post,really nice to hear ,another great gift from our friends to the north

The way Danny plays his cello like a bass never fails to entertain me!
He's the only bassist I know that uses a cello instead of a contrabass. I actually prefer the cello for this style, since the notes aren't so deep.

Old timey, bluegrass, folk, Americana, whatever you call this music, these people are truly amazing. Headphone listen to their music.
