Sabbath was very blues based and heavy slow riffs, with the odd up tempo tune. Priest took it out of the blues and gave it a more sharper and metallic sound and dramatically increased the tempo. they have by far the best voice and twin guitar duo (past and present) PERIOD.
Saw them for the 4th time in Bucharest 3 days ago. Rob is like a fine wine, at 70 years old he was the best performer i've seen in the last 5 years. His voice was even more powerful than the studio recordings when he was young. I bet he ate "mici" in Bucharest and they gave him even more satanic power.

How can he have the same voice over all these years. It hasn't changed at all. Well, he has to put more effort now to do the screams he did at Painkiller era, but if you listen to Firepower album, he is rocking like he is 20 years old. Truly deserves to be called a Metal God ❤️
