I realize that Ozzfest was a multi-million dollar festival tour and this was recorded for a live DVD, but more sound engineers and videographers need to take note. The mix here is amazing.
I was able to see Anthrax for the first time in July 2022, they performed in Hollywood, CA. Once this song was played I ran to the pit and it was one of my most memorable moshpits I’ve been apart of. 🤘🏼
35 years on and I still have the voucher that guarantees tickets to see them support Metallica on the 'Master of Puppets' tour and also has discounts for shirts and fan wear- about a week before Cliff Burton died.
That is definitely something to talk about.It was one of the saddest days in metal history that I will forever be stunned by.And I was in the 7th grade when it happened.

Really wish they’d continued with Danny Spitz. He really brought a sound to Anthrax with his solos! So glad they got Belladonna back though, absolute killer voice and personality on stage 🤘
Nice to see Dan on there. I met all of them when they were playing in Stoke in '89.... apart from Dan....as he was newly married and his wife wouldn't let him out. Scott is a great guy 🤘

One of the best performances ever!! I have loved Anthrax since day one, but when they got back together for Ozzfest with Joey Belladonna on vocals back then after he had been gone for s few years, it was the best ever!!!!! I'm glad they still have the "Among The Living" line ip together today or most of it. It is the best. I bought this Ozzfest DVD .

He takes time to speak to every fan, he’s never put out.... we stayed after their show one night at the Warfield in SF, and they finally had to ask the band to wrap it up, because the parking lot was closing for the night, and we’d have all been stuck behind locked doors... they chilled with us all for nearly an hour, signing, taking selfies, and telling stories...

@@Fakename70 He was completely unrecognizable at that time, at least to me anyhow, especially compared to his appearance way back in 1995 when he originally left the Band and then not seeing him again until 2005. Had I'd not known that he was rejoining the Band for a few years around 2005, even I wouldn't have realized that it was Dan Spitz because he looked completely different, besides his height of course. Really miss him in that Band, he was a badass Lead Guitarist but I do love Jonathan Donais now though and even loved the Paul Crook and Rob Caggiano Eras as well. Just been a Massive Fan ever since seeing them on Married With Children way back in 1992. Hard to believe that if I didn't Love that Show so much and never had seen them on it back then, I may've never been exposed to that Band at all...crazy how things work out. 🤘🙂🤘

i remember once upon a time hehe,here in venezuela,caracas,dont know what year...marky ramone came to a concert ,and i was in a parking lot full of sand,so i was stay very quiet at concert,and suddendly in the song "blitzkrieg bop" i was caught in a mosh,fortunately the people and punks was very happy hehe
I met anthrax in Flint in 2003 when John Bush of armored saint with singing for them for 16 bucks for the CD I got backstage passes got to do the meet-and-greet got a free autograph poster and they autograph my CD and I got to smoke down with the group after the show not cigarettes LoL

I dont know how long Ozzfest went on for. But Donington 2005 which Anthrax performed at was called "Download". Just as it is today. 2005 was the first year it was a 3 day festival instead of 2.
Charlie Benante is such a great drummer. He never gets mentioned when people talk about great drummers. He deserves more mentions.
