Latrell Sprewell was the most ferocious dunking shooting guard in the NBA at that time. It was fun to watch him play at Golden State. I used to rock his endorsed Arcopolis Hi-Tops from Converse!!!
Nice highlights with basketball player Latrell Sprewell of Golden State Warriors, Minnesota Timberwolves, New York Knicks. Latrell was a very good scorer and good dunker.
I honest to God forgot how cold this Brotha was. He make Stars today look like bums. Talk about hoopin with pure explosive ferocity. Nowadays, you can't really touch nobody when they driving. Much respect for the Spree💪
@@oemmai2184 That is known fact. He got used to the two handed jam because his hands were small. Don Nelson once commented that Sprewell's skillsets would challenge that of MJ's but his small hands limits that. Pretty believably considering he was an allstar level player
Jay Johnson I AGREE WITH EVERYTHING U SAID. WHEN I SAW HIM PLAYING @ BAMA I KNEW I WAS GONNA LIKE. HIM, C-WEB, HARDAWAY, MULLIN, AND OWENS WAS THAT SQUAD. IF THEY HAD TIME TO GEL IT WOULD HAVE BEEN TROUBLE. I KINDA HATED WHEN HE DIDNT TAKE THAT MONEY FOR THE TIMBERWOLVES AND WAS OUT THE LEAGUE SINCE THEN. THE LANDLORD WAS COMING TO UR TOWN...ITS TIME TO PAY THE RENT
@@rafaelreyes9 He has no left in his handle and only drives right, the defenders already know this, but they still can't stop him. He is a freak of an athlete.
Agreed. Didn't have the career for personal reasons but from a pure talent standpoint he's better than those guys. Spree from his Warriors days would average close to 40 today. Total package. Dunks, drives, 3's, Mid range jumpers. No weakness except himself.

Underrated.
One of the best in 90'.
Best tomahawk dunker ever its so smooth, fast , and timing connects all the motion. Seriously i never seen the tomahwk that beautifil ever

In high school I had his #15. I still rock his Knicks jersey every now and then.
i favor the warriors over the knicks cuz of wilt chamberlain
That’s hella cool
Everyone wanted to be like Mike... I wanted to be like Spree (and annihilate the rim). NBA's first "Angry Dunker" and Russel Westbrooks father.

Sprewell in Golden State. Owned it
This guy was a different breed
He was so fast. I remember one game in the Nineties, having his absolute way with my Hawks.
do u mean with the knicks or warriors
the hawks have a better history than the knicks cuz of willis reed not being = to bob pettit pete maravich + cliff hagan
the warriors have a better history than both teams because of the legendary wilt chamberlain
Sprewell was at his peak in GS.
The coach choker 😂
Fun player to watch! Very aggressive
Why watch today's NBA when you have seen SPREE???
Refuses to dunk with 1 hand...absolute beast
Because his hands were too small to palm with one. We were all blessed to witness his 2 hand ferocity, for it.
He actually did dunk with one hand in the video
@@rommelle7285 more so highlighting the fact that 99.999% of his dunks were 2 handed. All spree fans know he's dunked with 1 but preferred 2.
@@oemmai2184 He can dunk with 1 hand.

Definitely on my underrated players list
MY FAVORITE BASKETBALL OF ALL TIMES
Jay Johnson ONE OF THE UNDERRATED PLAYERS EVER

Get out the way...Monster jams coming through!
Warriors shouldn't have never let spree go.
Love this dude💯
Funny how he always drives to his right and the defender even knows it's coming but still can't stop him. Says a lot about his freakish athleticism.
@@rafaelreyes9 He has no left in his handle and only drives right, the defenders already know this, but they still can't stop him. He is a freak of an athlete.
Golden st spree vs prime kobe who wins🤔i dont think spree felt he could be stopped . and him and webber nasty duo!!!
Electric first step quickness.
that in an out against phoenix omg
couldn't palm with one hand so he makes all his dunks with 2 anyway- beast
Codename Coast to Coast
I would rather have prime spree over richmond. defense!!
Beautiful, only thing I didn't see was defense on Jordan but great mix.
MJ was unguarded back then lol
He was nasty asf on the court
For a 6'5" shooting guard, he is even better than Wade and Harden.

harden maybe but wade? U buggin
When he was a Warrior.
As a Knick he played SF
j k Timberwolves he was sf too
@@Johnkoth not right..he played sg/sf - because they had allan houston on starting sg. timberwolves he played most of the times sg.
Almost hit his head on the rim
Great talent, but he was hot-headed.
If he can controlled himself, he could had been great.
If he was on Trailblazers in the Jailblazers era it would of been unbelievably legendary, would of stopped the lakers
He was still great!
Idol🤩

Such an angry dude
NBA 90s Era Top 5 Shooting Guards for me
1. Michael Jordan
2. Clyde Drexler
3. Reggie Miller
4-5 Tie with Spree or Mitch....
