Honest question here: why do people take videos of them ruining their hair or not knowing what they are doing? For attention? Boredom? I don’t get it. But I am here for Buddha though 😝
Because humans are a perverse species where people screwing up get more views than when they just do things correctly. Because that's boring! Yawn lmao 🤣
LOL thank you for reacting to my video! ✨ Thankfully I’m out of the bleaching phase and currently rocking my natural color as a bob haha So no worries - I do not intend on bleaching my own hair ever again 😂
Please don't take offence and it's just my opinion but I thought the blonde didn't really suit you as good as the brown did, so I'm glad you're rocking your beautiful natural colour

Okay, I have to say that the steak comparison to bleaching is perfect. While I have always understood the concept I now understand the why behind it better.
Dear Hair Buddha! Watching your videos for quite a while now, I can't help but have to tell you that you are a bright torch in the width of the internet. I'm a hairdresser myself, and I've been doing hair for almost 40 years now. I'm working as a teacher for hairstyling, too, for more than 25 years. And there are so many self-proclaimed experts out there whose advices make my hair stand on end. Instead, all that you say is 1. absolutely correct 2. well-founded and 3. targeted. Your clients (and your viewers) can be glad for such a knowledge on hairdressing. Collegial greetings from Germany!
I think that every person should have to watch this video before they try to bleach at home. The bleach to cooking a steak comparison was spot on and now so many people are saying “ahhhh I totally get it now!” 😂 It’s hard to watch someone do things right and wrong at the same time.
I am so glad I only failed bleaching my hair once! Luckily I had a very understanding hairdresser to fix it. I haven’t done a thing to my hair (besides getting it cut) in two years. I’m embracing the grey
Thanks Hair Buddha! Your reactions are the best, genuine and funny! But your explanations are very instructive. It would be great they would have been considered by most of the videos creators you react to! May all your Now be great! 🤗
Diaries, plants, notebooks, old newspapers/magazines, grass, wigs, old clothes, furniture, bed sheets, carpets, etc. This is a -by no means exhaustive- list of things you can cut, color or just mess up if you happen to be bored, having a mental breakdown or an emotional crisis. Please, leave your hair alone🙏🙏 Thanks HB ❤ Have a great week everybody!!!
Yay! Happy Monday Hair Budda and thank you for another great video. She does look good as a blonde. I'm just glad it didn't turn out to be a melted hair fail. Keep the vids coming I have to get in at least 1 HB vid a day it's my de-stress time. ❤️
Oh yes!! Monday and a new video ❤ thank you so much!! because of you I successfully bleach a bit of my hair and yes, I go for a more natural blonde, no for white ❤
@@hair-buddhaI went naturally grey when i was 23. I tryed for many years, colouring my hair, to get back at my beautiful chestnut brown but simply it was not the same.... So I decided to embrace my white/grey hair and I'm very 😁 happy of this decision. Love this channel ❤
Sameeee i keep on complaining that i want my hair to grow longer yet i keep on cutting it like every two weeks. At least i am removing the last remaining inches of my bleached hair tho 😂
Am an olde lady now with white hair and am growing it to donate to the cancer society, Will do this the rest of my life. My grandmother died of breast cancer along with several friends, atleast three and three of my neighbours have or had cancer, so feel like this effort is very worthwhile.
I bleached my hair a few months back. I wanted to try blonde for YEARS but really wanted to do my research. I did everything Hair Buddah suggested and am happy to say my hair did not fall out (I really focused on hair health for several months prior to bleaching), took incredibly small sections and slathered it with bleach. I did one 30min session with the anticipation that I'd do another session in several months. Honestly, I'm not sure what happened. Thankfully, there was zero banding or uneveness but even more so, I expected a bit of brassy reddish colour because I had virgin deep brown hair. But surprisingly, it lifted A LOT! I used 30 volume, not 40. I'd like it to be a little bit lighter but since it's not a gross brassy orange, I've been happy to let it sit for several months to let the overall health of my hair restore. Any recommendations for this next session are appreciated. I unfortunately can't use foils as it's just me doing it. In the meantime, I did some colour by combing lightly to add a bit of dimension then toned it.
Im doing a manga (comic) about a girl n a hairdresser n im using all my knowladge i learned from hair buddah to make it both a cute romcom n an informative full of tips n facts about coloring ur hair. I wonder if anyone is interested to read it? It would be an honor if hair buddah reacted to it.

So excited and amazed! I just managed to remove auburn box-dye and bleach my hair to a 9-10 by myself after learning how mostly from your videos! Did I do fine sections? I tried, but definitely not my finest moment. However, not one drop of coconut oil was used prior to bleaching. 🚫🥥🤣 I was even able to fix the orange with blue (not purple)! So a toast 🍷and kudos to you for being an excellent hair buddha. My tip: What I did was section the halo area into a pony tail and just bleach/rinse the underneath layers first. 😮Ive never used toner but the higher the volume, the faster it works? Im not a professional so, when Im bored, I take my dogs to run! Love you HB❤❤❤❤❤❤
im a natural black and i went Silvery WHITE for 2 years ,when i bleached the regrowth i put coconut oil on the already white parts so if i ended up overlapping abit, it wouldnt do much to it (works, but make sure u use alot of it)
If she hadn't done the roots the first time, that flame orange would have been stunning on her. I know it's not generally considered a desirable result from bleaching, but I think she has the complexion to carry off that color.
I see my hairdresser (of 20 years) every 7 weeks, and when I leave her salon, I feel amazing! If we run more than 2 hours, it’s because we were talking too much! 🤣 HOWEVER! Paying for her to do it is WORTH.EVERY.PENNY. My hair ALWAYS looks beautiful and I got to spend time with my dear friend. Admittedly I LOVE watching these hair fail videos, and I could have been in a few of my own when I was in my late teens/early twenties. But I learned early that paying for a professional to do my hair (ESPECIALLY when it comes to BLEACHING) was a much better way to spend both my time and my money. 💇🏼♀️👩🦳
Oh yes, I dedicate a whole day when I go to the salon! Mine usually takes an hour and a half to 2 hours but it does go longer cus we talk so much as well! I love my hairdresser! 😊 Best money I spend every 6 weeks! So worth it!
“Let me slap this on.” i’m dying. I am a hair professional so as I laugh, I am also crying for her hair, but I can’t stop watching.😂 And the bright, patchy orange essence 😂😂
You said steak😏🤤 Now I want one. 😂 Gosh that's the best way to explain the bleaching process ever!!! Even if one says "women don't eat steak" (which is bogus, I love steak and I am female), same one could say "women are cooking more than men". So! There you have it.
There has to be damage, how could there not be?? I don't understand the desire to turn your hair platinum when there are so many other beautiful shades. Call me crazy!!
It’s just a matter of preference. I loved when my hair was platinum, but I box dyed it black not to long ago because I don’t have time for the upkeep anymore
I have dark blond hair, not platinum since I was a child. As a blond, it always seemed to me that men prefer brown hair than blond. I know appealing to men is usually the last of our concerns when selecting our look, but there is this stereotype out there that men prefer blonds, and I don’t generally find that to be true.
So because coconut oil interferes with bleach, can i coat my already bleached hair (or at least near the regrowth) with it during a root touch up to help prevent breakage incase of accidental overlapping? 🤔 Asking bc my hair is dark and im sure my roots will need a 2nd round of bleach to be lifted to platinum to match the rest. And on top of that, i dont want dry ass mids and ends when i have to meticulously shampoo out the bleach on my roots.
It's easy to understand, people not the same. I want to explain, we are not the same talents. To bleach hair it's a manual and very many patience is necessary. Sorry for my english it's not my language.
But if you’ve just kept the same colour and stayed blonde over time it is not as complicated as these sorts of people who are changing their colour over and over - going dark, using box dye, wanting to be blonde again a month later.
@@marcilk7534 it's true, I'm not impulsive. I did go from black to bleached blonde though, but I grew out enough regrowth and cropped all of my hair off in one go to the regrowth! I went from long black layered hair to cropped and bleached blonde and have maintained it since. It's way too much stress for the hair to go from black to blonde with stripping... just grow it out, crop it off... the journey through the lengths to get it long again was fun --- I grew-out the cropped hair, had it styled as it grew into a bob, then shoulder length, and down to half way down my back. I'm not a hairdresser, but I'd watch everything my hairdresser did and asked lots of questions, which was lucky as he quit doing hair and went onto other adventures such as property and investing.
I watch these videos and want to hit my head against a wall. It would be less painful. I'm spoiled my best friends is a hair dresser and she does my hair for free, because I'm the only client/friend who does wild colors and she loves working with them and learning new techniques. That said she's also taught me a lot so that if I ever need to do my hair by myself I can do it right. I realize not everyone has a hair dresser for a best friend, but just about EVERYONE has access to TH-cam and the MANY professionals like Hair Buddha who give top quality instructions and demonstrations. Watch them! Listen to them! Most of all FOLLOW them! 😩
You give great advice on hair but you need high heat to sear a steak. A lot of cooks will say that the ideal steak is barely warm in the center with a hard sear on the outside. You do not want to slowly cook it through as this will make it tough. You need to either sear it at high heat then lower the temperature to bring the middle up to the correct temperature or cook it to temperature and then sear the outside on high heat. I would let you do my hair but not cook my steak. Also, thank you for stating that warm blonde is attractive. I think a warm, natural looking blonde can be beautiful and I don't understand why everyone wants pure white or gray hair which does suit many people.
I still dont understand people. There are looooot of videos on TH-cam to how the hell do bleach their own hair correctly. But no, they dont want to listen. Example: I saw a lot of videos from Buddha, lot of bleach fails. I accepted his recommendations. I have really fine, short pixie hair what is around level 5 brown and its my natural colour. I bought 2 bags (each 30 gramms) of BlondMe Premium Lightener 9+ and 2 bottle of BlondMe Premium Developer (each 7 volume). At first I did only one FINE SECTION to see the results. I did my length only. First time I put the bleach on, set a timer and rinse it out after 10 minutes. Second round I did only a bleach wash, let it sit for 10 minutes. The results are better what I expected. I got a natural light blonde colour. And the most important things: my hair doesnt fell out, and its not dried or fried! I will do some other parts in this way. Thank you Buddha for your recommendations! I hope that more and more people will take your advice! Cheers! 🙂
I agree w Buddha and will go one step further to say that platinum hair looks awful on most everyone. A dark to medium natural (or at least natural looking) blond is so much prettier.
I used box dyes for many years until my hair began thinning. Never drastic colour change, just a shade close to my own . I just wanted to tone the auburn down a little. My hair is now mostly grey and white which confuses me because my mother went straight from red to white. I always thought red heads went white. Wonder why i have so much darker grey. Anyone know?
All hair that loses color is white. The appearance of gray is the white hairs laying against the darker hair. I’ll bet if you take a single strand from where you perceive as gray, you will find either brown or white when examined individually.
I never have. My hair has gone darker the older I've become. I have a wide nose and deep set eyes, dark hair makes me look ill. I've had gray in my hair for almost 20 years and it's not pretty gray, it's very dirty yellow gray so no, I will always color it
My natural hair is a mousy brown, turning grey. I keep it short, shaved sides stay natural and I've been recently bleaching n toning it a really light silver colour. It's the most flattering colour I've ever worn
My hair stylist has banned me from colouring my hair, bleaching my hair, cutting short, straighten it, cutting my own fringe, allowing my cats to style my hair.
The good thing is...she has strong and beautiful hair by nature. The haircut is made for her!!❤ The patchiness is bad. If the orange (😂😂 he just said Targaryans😂😂😂) was evenly spread...I would say ok. But me?! I wouldn't go outside like that.
I was thinking of going platinum. I was auburn all my life but it's basically white now. The white is pretty but my son just told me that I look old so.....sigh.
yeah i had black box dye on. it changed barely 2 shades after 2 bleach sessions 😂i was like... oh great ,now im dark dark brown instead of black luckily im trying to go orange, not blonde
I really don't understand how people can fail at bleaching and colouring now a days. There are so many professionals on TH-cam that have proper videos on how to bleach and or colour ones hair. The only thing I can think, is that the people who fail and share their videos just want to go "viral" for failing, because to them, being made fun of online is better than nothing. Anything for 5 minutes of viral sensation.
The time, effort, and money they are putting in to these bleachings, they should just as well good to a salon. One and done, sit and relax. Whats not to like. I guarantee she spent at least $80 on all the products. Spend a little more and get it done right
I used that mask on very light buzz cut bleached hair , had bloody blue hair , which wouldn’t shift 🤣🤣🤣pretended to work etc that it was the colour I wanted 😂😂😂😂😂
I love the "is that natural hair? Eh who am i kidding its probaly box dye" comment 😂 so cynical, no shred of hope there at all 😂 R.I.P buddhas hope in humanity not dying their hair with box dye 👋💃

Because you are probably patient and logical.
Hair Buddha, please where is your salon. I could jump on Eurostar if you’re anywhere near Brussels 😊. I go to MvC and even they give me orange hair
i chuckle everytime someone says i dont care after reading the instructions and then they are suprised it didnt work out
I watch these videos and want to hit my head against a wall. 😩
The only use in this is nothing or maybe to teach some else not to try this at home. 🤣🤣 I got 15 min with Hair Buddha and enjoyed every laugh!!
“I’m bored, so I’m gonna jack my hair up.” 😂😂😂
I actually like the yellow and orange hair with the yellow t shirt .😂😂😂😂 It reminds me of dragon ball z
Cheers! 🙂
them: let me apply more colour to make the 2nd bleaching even more challenging
Hair Buddha: why 😐
"I blame the Targaryens" 😂
All she has too do is go in a third time on just the lengths and it would be perfect. Poor Buddha nearly had a nervous breakdown lol
Am I the only person who feels people always look better with their natural hair color?
I never have. My hair has gone darker the older I've become. I have a wide nose and deep set eyes, dark hair makes me look ill. I've had gray in my hair for almost 20 years and it's not pretty gray, it's very dirty yellow gray so no, I will always color it
@@slbarbieri1725 Is that a picture of you? If so, the color you have in the picture does look nice on you.
My natural hair is a mousy brown, turning grey. I keep it short, shaved sides stay natural and I've been recently bleaching n toning it a really light silver colour. It's the most flattering colour I've ever worn
@@becbell1623 Hair turns white naturally. It looks gray when white hair lays next to darker hairs. My hair is dark blond turning white.
Ur so funny and cute 😆✨✨
Monday New Video 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤
Bored …
colour your Hair …
Not the best idea…😮
indeed
Your explanation of a steak was spot on
oh no not more than 20 volumes😲Nor quick blue.hi Hair Buddha please tech us of Master.
When I was younger I did all kinds of crazy stuff to my hair, my mum used to tell me I'd be bald by the time I was 30!
I blame the Targaryens 🤣🤣🤣
Such a beautiful girl; 🛑 go to hairdresser.
Watching this as I’m getting ready to go to a pro because I will
NEVER do my own hair again how I didn’t kill it I’ll never know 😮
My hair stylist has banned me from colouring my hair, bleaching my hair, cutting short, straighten it, cutting my own fringe, allowing my cats to style my hair.
HB! Don't blame the Targaryen's 🤣Wait, they all turned out to be bad guys in the end, so guess you can blame them.
Hair budda should collaborate with a wig company for all the people who ruin thier hair.. he can make $$$ in commissions 😂
She quite honestly made a mess of her hair, luckily none of it fell out. Love how she made up her own timing,on how long to leave the bleach in😂😂😂😂
The good thing is...she has strong and beautiful hair by nature. The haircut is made for her!!❤
The patchiness is bad. If the orange (😂😂 he just said Targaryans😂😂😂) was evenly spread...I would say ok. But me?! I wouldn't go outside like that.
Lol i blame the Tagareans too
Oh what a disaster! But I think she’s just so beautiful that she can pull anything off 😍
I was thinking of going platinum. I was auburn all my life but it's basically white now. The white is pretty but my son just told me that I look old so.....sigh.
I was shocked the box dye lifted so much on the first go 😂
yeah i had black box dye on. it changed barely 2 shades after 2 bleach sessions 😂i was like... oh great ,now im dark dark brown instead of black
luckily im trying to go orange, not blonde
She's so pretty that it almost doesn't matter. Love your videos. The sound effects aren't my favorite. I prefer your commentary and reactions!
It's a hot mess! 😂 It still looks very healthy, though 😊
I blame Brad Mondo for everyone doing their roots before rinsing out their ends. That's his thing..
Hair Buddha: "It's never a good idea to color your hair because you're bored."
Me: "The only reason I ever color my hair is cause I'm bored." 🤦🏾♀️😂
in hindsight, my hair was so forgiving to me
😊
