@PaMuShin Who the fuck even are you?
Watching Icy Mike go into SWAT mode on the zombie challenge was hilarious.
when he fought against knife it was impressive
the fact that they bite his head tho🤣
It's still amazing to me how Icy Mike was able to keep up with these guys that are younger, stronger, heavier and bigger than him. Dude is tough!
Man is really @hard2hurt
Need some serious skills to take on dudes with such a size difference, big up lil Mike
Mikey icey oso had the least experience in years. He's just a retired old cop guy
yeah he's just trained in S.pecial W.eapons A.nd T.actics, has years of real world experience as a bouncer, has his own dojo, fought in street beefs videos, regularly tests all the less lethal options he comes across with people like Seth shooting him and whipping him and shocking him, and has taken every pepper spray or pepper ball and chemical deterrent to the face on video. who hasn't done that🥱?
LOL like I said, Dude it tough! And still has all his digits and smile bones! LOL
Jeff was so mad at everyone for giving the knife attacker their wallets lol
bcs he tried quite hard to fought the knife assailant part
Do you have a timestamp?
Yea that was really dumb lol not sure how they got the point for that
@@Skq-p8p you think it's smarter to fight a robber that has a knife????
@@Skq-p8pYou’re not too bright eh? Lol.
The scenarios were so great. The competitors had no idea they WEREN’T going to fight.
indeed, i would have loved to see some alternative tactics in there, and then see how the judges react.
stand there with poop man and ask what was up with the doodies while watching bloodbro. or😂 just start smearing yourself in waste to get them to stay away
just tell the D3 seat guy "have a little sympathy, I'm the one who's gonna have to deal with hearing about this for years" and connect as men. or😂 tell the girl you have to get some popcorn as soon as she started complaining about you and dip out before even walking in.
pretend you got a text and then record the boss and blackmail her for a promotion. or😂see how far the bosslady was willing to commit to the roll and tell her you have an open marriage where the wife likes to watch.
The real MVPs were Matt’s theoretical kicks and Jeff’s panic sprawl
theoretical kicks??
@@jacksonterrance8833 Watch the video.
Nawh the real MVP was Ramsey's,"Alright here's my shit"
Police Officer: "What is going on here?"
The guys: "Don't worry officer, we are just beating up each other... in the bus... for practice!"
I suspect they were pulled over for swerving, hard braking and other wild driving
For the algo, season 1 was incredible, can't wait for season 2!

@@MartialArtsJourneyyou should make this a real show
“Despite his troubled past” they really did icy Mike dirty lol
Especially since it was all Ramsey's fault! That man was dogshit at teamwork. :D Even a trained SWAT guy couldn't get him to follow instructions, lol.
This should be Netflix show
It is so good and so professional
I would so watch it.... Hell yes.

That's a great idea, would be interesting to see if there's any evolution in tactics and techniques similar to what happened in the UFC
@@isaack8146 No, it is not.
Icy Mike was BY FAR the shortest and lightest fighter in this whole thing. The fact he made it to the end and competed the entire time against MUCH bigger opponents and still managed to get a respectable score by the end of this actually has me convinced that POUND FOR POUND he the most well rounded fighter in the crew.
Fighting and staying in against SKILLED opponents at his size is a significant challenge, and it's one only Mike faced. The rest of you are rather tall, and the disadvantage was either insiginificant or nonexistent.
Respect to EVERYONE in this, but I wanna give EXTRA props to Icy Mike.
plus he's old, that guy has some metal in him
Big things coming small packages. A smaller, shorter skilled fighter can usually get in places where the bigger guys can't
@@knight1506 ahahahah polkice fanboy always on it.... ahahah take it he sucks

Two things:
1) I want to be part of this so bad FFS that's WAY beyond awesome
2) Icy Mike took the zombie apocalypse scenario way too seriously and I love him for that 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That twist of giving away your phone instead of fighting by Ramsey caught me off guard but I love it! Had a good laugh as well. Good one!

As far as reality competitions, this is the best I've ever seen, bar none, on TH-cam or streaming. This cut is awesome and seeing the first season together helps you realize how well put together the whole thing is, and of course this is the most useful video you can watch and really learn about self-defense. I am so fucking excited, this is going to be the greatest!
1:37:05 ' I thought you were sensei not sensitive' had my dying with laughter.. but this is just amazing content mate
All throughout this challenge mike is literally david vs Goliath incarnate
This should be a part of everyone's martial arts training/ self-defense training
Including the zombie apocalypse? Cuz that’s awesome
I love the zombie episode. Just seeing Mike get into tactical ninja mode is great!
The fact mike being so much smaller than the others and still did very well is insanely impressive. I would love to see him come back in some way.
I haven't even watched it till the end yet and I can already say with confidence that this is one of the best reality shows ever to have been made.
Mate, you blew this series out of the park. As a former video editor, bravo. This is, like, TV quality.
I'm amazed with the production quality. Shout out for the self defense instructor and all the actors. They were all amazing.
Damn, this was MADLY entertaining! I can see this becoming the new American Ninja championship...
I loved the zombie apocalypse one most when Jeff got scared of the zombie in the toilet
As a lifelong martial artist (Wrestling, Judo, Eskrima-Kali, HEMA Longsword Fencing, Muay Thai)...bouncer for damn near 14 years at about a dozen different bars and clubs in St Louis City and East St Louis..along with being a fan of all these guys for years now..I thought that this was fucking AWESOME! I'm sure the logistics of it all, and making it all come together and happen was a freaking MESS! But definitely a labor of love for Rokas and those involved in the production, and a real pleasure to watch for all of us who love these guys and their content.
I really like how even tho it wasn't said, it was shown that there is a difference between "martial arts", "fighting", and "self defense". Shown that even some very experienced fighters, MMA coaches, martial arts practitioners and instructors, self defense experts and instructors, former police and SWAT officers, etc, can and do FALL in real life scenarios.
It wasn't perfect, but overall, this project did a pretty good job at demonstrating the randomness, unpredictability, chaos and confusion of real life, and just how much of a total cluster fuck things can become. I think that it did a very good job at demonstrating something I used to hear in the military: "Even the best plans do not survive contact with the enemy."
And the zombie event they did as a team really demonstrated the important of good leadership when working as a group. Icey Mike really shined in that scenario event, and shown that he has some real skill and experience as a leader. R.I.P. Ramsey & Rokas, who fell while fighting to protect the team.
Again, there were definitely things that could have been done better, and can be improved upon in the future. But this waa just so fucking awesome, and it would be great to see more of these kinds of events happen.
Mike? Mike KILLED a kid 😂. Joking of course. Zombies are hard to predict. I loved the show too. Great comment and summary
One of my favourite quotes.
“No plan survives contact with the enemy.” - Field Marshal Helmuth von Moltke
This was sick! I'm a cinematographer for UFC, and even though this was obviously super low-budget, guerilla-style production, I thought it was incredibly watchable and entertaining. Love it! Nice work guys.
Thank you man! Really glad to hear it. If you'd be open to share some feedback I'd love to hear it. We're at - info at usdchampionship dot com
This was probably the best TH-cam video Ive watched in years... Everyone involved really outdid themselves fr.. The GOAT of YT long form
Thanks! Season 2 is coming out on September 8 🥳
This is so awesome, how is this not more popular?????
Matt was so agressive on the knife chalenge, I wonder how it would've gone if he was in the Challenge, dude is a beast and it's kinda of funny because he doesn't look like such beast of guy
What a great concept! As practitioner of martial arts for over 30 years, I imagined a few of these scenarios and experienced even two of them in reality. It's so awesome to see, how everyone dealed with these situations. Looking forward to season 02!
The escaping from the warehouse sensei Seth and Mike duo was like a tragic death in a movie. They came so far together, fixed a plan, and almost executed that plan, with one casualty 😢
Just re watched it all. 1st time I watched I trained Muay Thai for almost a year, I saw it in a view of striking and clinch. I now train BJJ exclusively and I’m going onto my 8th month and I see it in a total different view.
This is such an incredible idea and pulled through so perfectly, I've never seen anything like it for self defense. Great job Rokas. And now you even solved the search issue (literally the only bad thing here), kudos for this mastercut. Looking forward to season 2.
OMG Mike was great! The running on the beach circle, the hide and escape, the harassment scenario, cinema.. I laughed every time, but now respect the man soo much.
Mike's police skills were awesome in the z challenge. Kudos for Rokas and Ramsey for following along.
At first I was like man he's musclin' into control (like aw let everyone shine!), but then I thought again and I was like my man is really in it, like he wants to keep everyone alive and he's working with the best system he knows to do so and like in a real apocalypse I think his strats were very sharp and legitimately would be huge for survival. Maybe they could have gone loose, but there were plenty of times they DID get attacked from behind or from unexpected angles that he was trying to keep everyone prepared for. I felt so bad when the misunderstanding happened for everyone involved, but honestly I can respect that he was in max zombie apocalypse mode coming out of what is practically a fighting competition and like the idea that you'd need to check kid survivors to make sure they weren't an unexpected zombie isn't really crazy in the context of an apocalypse scenario, I think the family just didn't expect to be questioned like that so they weren't prepared to say 'nah we're just here to be rescued don't worry' on the spot to assure it wasn't a game plot twist thing. The "I know what you must think of me" line hit so hard, and like it was a super cool immersiveness experiment and I think it was a valuable simulation to the point of causing players to need to make difficult improvised decisions on a time crunch and seeing how stressful decision-making is in a crisis.
TL;DR yeah man mike is awesome and it was so cool to see tactical movement getting taught and applied in a 'compromised' situation on the fly!!
Yeah it really demonstrates how all cops are terrible and only make things worse. I love this series and I watch all the TH-camrs involved but he legitimately did the worst and got innocent people killed just like all cops.

Humility is probably the greatest skill a person can develop.
Wrong. The greatest skill you can develop is a backflip.
Lol for some reason this comment has me dying 😂😂😂@@Izanagioomikami
You did a hell of a job by putting it all together. That's awesome! Looking forward to season 2
Great experiment. I think it's very useful for the further development of self defense.
Also, the whole thing has an entertaining side, but it never looks like a silly reality show (well... set aside the zombie stuff...). It rather looks like you're sharing techical aspects and even the "emotional" part is essential to the idea itself of self defense and facing violence.
Fantastic show and editing! I've done my second run through of the series and I can't believe each episode isn't in the millions. I would much rather watch this than anything on Netflix right now.
Excited for season 2!
Very nice! This was super entertaining and educational. The quality of the edit is 10/10. Scenarios are also taught nicely.
I like how you also showed the "non-violent" part of self-defense.
And I thought that knife defense would be easier. Well, it's just a knife. But the knife destroyed everybody. Big respect.
Bro, the knife or ''shank tank'' was a pretty good eye opener on how actually fucked it is to fight a, well, shanker.
What a fantastic video! I love that you guys not only included avoidance in the possible solutions, but made that the first choice. I've only really been threatened once in my life with violence when a guy came to me for help when three guys were trying to rob him as he exited a bus station. I wasn't sure what to do, and I wasn't even sure if he wasn't part of the bad guys, so I sat him down next to me and thought for a while and then talked my way out of the situation. 15 minutes later the inside guy walked us out to my car, waved his two buddies off, and even opened the door for us. Diplomacy is the best form of self-defense.
Kudos to all six of you guys. fantastic job!
This was my weekly pleasure. Cannot wait for season 2. I am sure the scoring system was upgraded as well
We did our best to learn as much as possible from season 1 to improve upon season 2
@@MartialArtsJourney you seemed to have taken all the worthwhile feedback into consideration so I have no doubt you guys improved it as much as you can 👍👍
@@MartialArtsJourney I can't find fault with season one. In fact I wonder if you're going to be able to improve on perfection. Good luck!
God watching Jeffs double leg shoot and his takedowns is as amazing the tenth time I see it as the first. His use of angles and shifting his footwork to apply a directional force instead of lift is insane
This was awesome. I'm a little sad the facility would be demolished soon, but the work is wonderful.

Absolutely loved this! Seeing all the guys I’ve been following for years express what they know in a reality game show format was great! And the production quality was crazy impressive! Truly it was comparable to network shows. Great job Rokas! Loved the cliffhanger ending.😂 SO looking forward to season 2!
Something I realized while watching this, is if you are fighting with rules in the back of your mind you aren't going to win. In a street fight, if you fight like an mma fighter or boxer or whatever you are handicapping yourself. Go for the eyes bite, scratch, claw. Do whatever it takes to survive.
I enjoyed watching these videos so much when they came out originally, and it's nice to see them all put together in an easy to follow video now.
I can't wait for Season 2.

Wait, he lost points by closing the door talking to his boss about his job performance? That's wild
As soon as that door closes it becomes your word against theirs. Best not to take that chance.
mike taking the zombie ep so serious is so entertaining 😭
Thanks for the super cut and can’t wait for season 2!
IMO icy mike was the only person who succeeded in fighting the knife in the circle, that kick was great
Ramsay's problem in the second challenge is that he followed the rules. Waited to open his eyes until the countdown was over.
This deserves an award of the video of the year
Thanks! Season 2 is coming out on September 8
Man, i'm watching this for the second time and it reminds me of my battle buddy from basic training lol. We went through basic, AIT, then after graduation went to Iraq a month later lol. The year we came home to train up for our second deployment he would ambush me in the motor pool while we were working on our track vehicles lol. He took combatives while I was sent to bus driver school so he would always want to get me to tap or try out some new move lol. We used everything inside those tracks to injure each other lol. I grabbed a 1 inch bolt and peeled the front of his shins once lol. We were awful about fighting in the oddest of places lol.
I don't know how you don't have 10 million views by now. This is such a great format! I couldn't stop watching. The no-fight situations were an eye opener. Also the closed quarters knife fight should become a competition. It was so intense!

Wow. Entire Season 1! Great
When they said, true self defense often happens when your not prepared is 100% true. After Thanksgiving dinner my uncle put me in the hardest headlock I’ve been in my life for no reason. Very aggressive. All he knows is I just stared training martial arts. Anyways I grabbed his knee we fell to the floor hitting my head in the process, but I got out passed his guard to mount then got off him. He never said sorry, just walked away. I thought my own family at least wouldn’t harm me but you never know so be safe and always be aware.
If I remember correctly most self defense situations happen with someone we are acquainted with. Probably even more so for women's self defense
@@MartialArtsJourney I heard something a few days ago which is apropos - the people who are most likely to attack you are people who know you, because people who don't know you don't care enough about you to want to kill you.

I have 20 years of martial arts, but the first 5 were street style king fu. No katas, just practical. 3 against one, knife, gun, bat, school yard head locks, bear hug, full Nelson’s. Some classes were so repetitive you hated it, but our instructor was military and stressed repetition creates second nature reflexes. I have been out of martial arts for 17 years now and my bat, gun and knife skills are some of my strongest reflexes to this day. I wish more fighting schools taught these skills.

If you take away ANYTHING, that should be it, IMHO.
