So if the metal boost pipe is mounted to the subframe the engine twisting will keep rocking that turbo coupler back and fourth all the time and may wiggle it off. Why not mount the metal boost pipe to the engine and let the whole thing move with the engine. Have the front boot to the intercooler take up the movement.
Might get the pipe to the intercooler loose since the intercooler is held by front mounts that are stiff with no movement and that coupler is barely grabbing on to the intercooler it's blown off a few times while stock and switching to aftermarket
I have my charge pipes hot & cold side upgraded with intercooler. I use constant tension clamps with nylon bolts on my GR. The kit had terrible clamps and they leaked boost. The manufacturer of the charge pipes sent me these expensive clamps made by McMaster Carr and they work great. Did you guys go with constant tension clamps Tbolts as well?
Ok boss!! You get a nice thumbs up for mentioning “some guy was giving me a weird look” in reference to sticking your arm in the dumpster hahahahahha. Thats great shit and stories you will tell your kids later in life!
I honestly can't figure out why you guys didn't go with v-bands for a race car with a turbo that buried underneath. Live and learn I guess? EDIT: Also, my AC is set to 60. lol
The original kit didn’t come with v band and we’ve never had an issue with it until the track day. And I did donuts and ripped the car around a bunch at home and it never had an issue
@@NemtecRacing That's true, but to be fair, the track is a lot different, as I guess you guys are finding out. lol. It will definitely find all the weak points for you. Love the build, btw. Can't wait to see some full laps. Best of luck at the track.

Nothing wrong with putting the a/c at a decent temp. :)
Those of us that burn like furnaces cannot deal with SoCal heat.

Roni says go buy a good laptop like an XPS... 2 seconds later; buys chromebook lol
I bought the chrome book before he said that lol
What about the fuel temperature issue last time?
The car is acting like it was without being hot so it’s not a fuel issue it’s somthing with either fuel pressure or the tune or idk….
lesss go
Chromebook, ouch 😅
Yeah not my greatest move…
Dang so no Moneyshift GR at the SoCal car meet for Sunday?😢 7:25
