Making Acrylic Vials

Unattended machining on some Acrylic Tubing in our 2014 Haas ST20 CNC Lathe. Acrylic Tubing is .750" OD x .500" ID. We had to turn each end to .6875" +/-.0005" and cut them off 1.625" lg. Running at 3,000 RPM .003" IPR using Walter-Valenite .046" Grooving insert to rough plunge, finish turn, face and cutoff pieces. Bar pulling is slowed down due to the collet pressure being set at 50 PSI to prevent crushing the tubing and taking about a second to open and close so we set the dwell to 1.5 seconds.
