- While leaders in San Francisco praised the Supreme Court's ruling giving cities nationwide the power to clear homeless encampments, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass called the decision a "disappointment." Adam Yamaguchi has more.

No actually Americans think it's ridiculous that veterans are out there on the streets homeless and you're giving Ukraine billions of dollars. Instead of helping people that are hurting in America you're actually trying to penalize them even more.
All foreign aid should stop until we get control of our own problems under control. Close the border. Lower the cost of health insurance, medical care, college tuition for starters.
They can do both. You think the congress they have now will pass laws for this? Take a look who is working there.

That can happen two ways, I think. Developers can build sufficiently more rental units and/or renters start leaving the area in enough numbers that push up the vacancy rate.

You can buy an apartment building and charge cheap rent, put your money where your mouth is libby!
Another option to consider is to relocate to an area where vacancy rates are high, putting downward pressure on rents. Areas in the Dakotas and Nebraska are like this. In Fargo, ND you can get a nice 1-bedroom apartment for $550-600/month.
As if there aren't areas that could be designated for tent housing with trash and restrooms. There's to much money to be made by governments not to resolve the homeless problem. Billions every year on paperwork, phone calls, lunch meetings and still the problem grows.
Why make billions once off of one event when you can allow the situation to fester and run for office on it indefinitely, making billions ALL OF THE TIME?
YES. it'd be so simple to give homeless people an actual address that they can put on applications. it's such a cheap solution and gets everyone out of the way
