Just my glutes are sore today. I think my glutes are lagging behind the other muscles so they worked really hard yesterday to keep up. So I’m happy with that. Everything worked hard yesterday, it’s just that it was a little harder on my weak glutes.

Skull crushers followed by tricep push ups were hard and I just loved the extra set of curls at the end! I was a bit worried about this as my upper body was already tired...but I really enjoyed it! It was great to put down the weights and do body weight moves for 15 mins! Hello! What dumbbells did you use? Is this also for men? I did this with my auntie but it was brutal! I could only manage with half kg (1 lb) dumbbells but lasted barely 11 minutes when my arms completely gave up. My auntie did the entire lesson using 12 kg and 8 kg dumbbells! I feel really low and defeated.

Happy Tuesday everyone! I surprised myself with yesterday's workout... I was able to hold the wall sit for almost the entire 90 seconds...a few months ago I could only hold a wall sit for around 30 seconds. I also did the optional abs add-on yesterday... my quads and abs are now very sore so I'm looking forward to working upper body today! The weather is beautiful here so I'll likely be going for a bike ride after this. Have a great session everyone and a lovely day!

Yay! On to this one soon! Just finished beast mode legs. I did all sets of 90sec wall sits!! Took advice from one of the comments to picture a beach setting and also kept telling myself “this is a rest, this is a rest”😉
Yesterday's quad focused workout was amazing I never thought I can do the complete exercise but I did it and I feel very strong and motivated than ever and I could do wall sits brilliantly.. Caroline has given us so much strength and physic I literally worship her and wait for her uploads ❤️

Found your workouts on line and dabbled in them but just had a chance to start this series yesterday. I.love.it! As a senior (69) I love the previews, the rest periods, no distracting vocals, motivating music. I have worked up to 8 lbs for these workouts and feel like I'm accomplishing my goal of retaining my strength to continue to do things I love. Thank you so much for Caroline!!

Happy Tuesday All! Hope you enjoy today’s session, I completed and loved it. I wore 2lb wrist weights and used 15lbs throughout and 10lbs for finisher. The slow and steady moves 4x are perfect for keeping form. I will definitely do this one again! Thanks Caroline🏋🏾

I’ve injured my leg due to an accident & I’m recovering right now. I completed this workout (barring 2) seated on a chair. It feels different but it’s doable. I’m so happy to complete it. My life has changed since following Caroline’s workouts. Thank you
Hello Caroline, I first did 15 mins of physical therapy exercises on my left side with 2 lb DB to strengthen my rotator cuff then had time to do 20 mins of this workout! What I love the most about Caroline is that she brings such a variety in her workouts. I hate when all upper body workouts are divided into back and biceps or chest, triceps and shoulders. Personally I sometimes like to train my arms more than once a week, so just whole upper body day once a week and then a shoulders- arms workout when I feel like it. Yay! Day 2 of beast mode! Another extremely challenging workout. I added in an older 8 min. Lower and routine that she created last year. I used 20 and 25lbs for the Arnold press and then dropped to 12 and 15lb dumbbells for the remainder of the exercises. Thanks Caroline!

Great to focus on strength work. My shoulders were pumped. I tried using 12.5kg but the form was not good, so dropped to 9’s and did more reps. Still trying to increase my strength so this workout challenged me. Triceps were a Beast too 😅 The time literally flew by today!! Thank you Caroline for your positive energy today 🤩

For me it was the 90 minute wall sit. 1st: I collapsed 3 times, 2nd I callapsed once, 3rd I made it by focusing on breathing. In my defence I was wearing 15kg weighted vest.

Caroline was suggested to me by a female friend. And these workouts are serious!! I used to do a lot of P90X type workouts but wanted something a bit more focused on resistance workouts. My legs are sore from Day 1 and im sure tomorrow my upper body will be the same. I wasn't sure if these workouts were designed for women or not. But after 2 days of this im sold. Great job Caroline. I will be using you for the next chapter of my fitness journey!

I didn’t fully feel this one until I dropped my weights after that last set….and my arms turned to jelly. Working on curling with 15lbs, and today was the most reps I’ve ever managed before having to drop to 10lbs in each hand. I got through 5/9 bicep sets with the 15s. Love that feeling of slow and steady growth and progress💪🏻 UPDATE (August 2023): Redoing this workout one year later, smashing through every set of those bicep curls with 15s, realizing I’m ready for 20s and buying myself a pair to celebrate 🎉😊

Unfortunately I’m not able to do some of these shoulder exercises due to a full rotator cuff tear ..I usually improvise or lower my weights considerably. Surgery is in three weeks. Trying not to do more damage. Kudos to Caroline and all of her followers! I really love her workouts!

My legs were shaking after yesterday and today I have a certain level of DOMS in my quads. Loved this upper body workout! I love training upper body and I had to switch down and switch up weights pretty much every exercise and loved being able to push whereas I'd have switched down to lower weights and stayed there a few months back train like a beast, indeed! let's go!

I always wonder too. I took a film class ages ago and did some editing but I’m assuming the technology now makes it much easier... back when I did it (like over 10 yes ago!) it probably would’ve taken days to do a video like this. 😂

My left arm is a little weaker than my right too. I would suggest doing unilateral moves to build up strength in your weaker side...like Caroline’s unilateral series from a couple of weeks ago. She has some good tips there about matching reps on each side. Doesn’t help immediately fir this workout...but will help in the longer term. Matthew
Im a tennis player so my dominant hand is significantly stronger than my other so I understand your issue 😩 what I do to get my non-dominant hand to catch up with my other is I normally perform an extra 10-12 reps of a certain exercise after the workout. Doesn’t seem like much at the time but there should be a difference in the long run!! :)
This workout is a good opportunity to train and build your weaker arm. Use the same weights but push you your weaker arm. If the are unilateral exercise, train the weakest arm first and count the reps or time. Repeat the same number on the strong arm, do not go over. If you are working both arms, stop both arms when one fails. Also start using your weaker arm more in daily tasks.
I was so sore after day 1 of this series that I actually forgot to comment ont that video😅 I struggled to walk all day yesterday and getting out of bed this morning was an adventure, but I'm glad to be training with Caroline again after a long break😁

Hello! What dumbbells did you use? Is this also for men? I did this with my auntie but it was brutal! I could only manage with half kg (1 lb) dumbbells but lasted barely 11 minutes when my arms completely gave up. My auntie did the entire lesson using 12 kg and 8 kg dumbbells! I feel really low and defeated.
Mission accomplished: arms toasted. I can’t believe how much stronger I am at tricep push-ups and how much muscle is starting to show. I’ve got a few weights and a bunch of bands. So for the lateral and front and some of the bicep work I wanted to try out a band, just to see, I liked the constant tension from the band, that tension worked great for the side and front raises. I’m in between weight ranges on some of the moves so adding in the band helped me add a little more tension where I was not able to go up to my next weight set. I’ll have to play around with the bands to see where they can fit in for me, which moves, maybe even a band plus a dumbbell at the same time where appropriate. Awesome workout. Loved it. Thank you.
Today I put a mirror in front of me while working out, jesus christ...!!!! My arms are toned like I never thought they could have been toned :D It is truly sad I have been working out since 2012, yet none of my online (even paid) trainers couldnt do with my arms what Caroline managed in 3,5 months! Incredible... I was like "No Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy..... look at all these muscles when doing lateral raises :D " Thank you so much!!!!!!
Really enjoyed this one.. It’s amazing how sitting on a chair makes it more managable to press! Noticed a great improvement in the lateral and frontal raises.. I used to really force it to get one rep in. Same goes with the triceps and biceps work.. The curls were easier with the 7.5 and skullcrushers weren’t as devistating as the used to be! Over all, great progress.. Thank you Caroline.

Just my glutes are sore today. I think my glutes are lagging behind the other muscles so they worked really hard yesterday to keep up. So I’m happy with that. Everything worked hard yesterday, it’s just that it was a little harder on my weak glutes.

Hi Caroline...all finished...I just loved this...I love the way the intensity builds up over the repeated sets! Skull crushers followed by tricep push ups were hard and I just loved the extra set of curls at the end! Not sure if this was deliberate or accidental but it was a great little extra challenge at the end! I loved it! Did it all with 8 kg which was good for me! Then I did the add on. I was a bit worried about this as my upper body was already tired...but I really enjoyed it! It was great to put down the weights and do body weight moves for 15 mins! Happy Tuesday everyone! I surprised myself with yesterday's workout... I was able to hold the wall sit for almost the entire 90 seconds...a few months ago I could only hold a wall sit for around 30 seconds. I also did the optional abs add-on yesterday... my quads and abs are now very sore so I'm looking forward to working upper body today! The weather is beautiful here so I'll likely be going for a bike ride after this. Have a great session everyone and a lovely day!

Yay! On to this one soon! Just finished beast mode legs. I did all sets of 90sec wall sits!! Took advice from one of the comments to picture a beach setting and also kept telling myself “this is a rest, this is a rest”😉
I did only one set ... during others I had to take 2-3 breaks..... All because I wasnt picturing the beach! :D Gonna try again next time! :)
Yesterday's quad focused workout was amazing I never thought I can do the complete exercise but I did it and I feel very strong and motivated than ever and I could do wall sits brilliantly.. Caroline has given us so much strength and physic I literally worship her and wait for her uploads ❤️

As a senior (69) I love the previews, the rest periods, no distracting vocals, motivating music. I have worked up to 8 lbs for these workouts and feel like I'm accomplishing my goal of retaining my strength to continue to do things I love. Thank you so much for Caroline!!

What I love the most about Caroline is that she brings such a variety in her workouts. I hate when all upper body workouts are divided into back and biceps or chest, triceps and shoulders. Personally I sometimes like to train my arms more than once a week, so just whole upper body day once a week and then a shoulders- arms workout when I feel like it. Yay! Day 2 of beast mode! Another extremely challenging workout. I added in an older 8 min. Lower and routine that she created last year. I used 20 and 25lbs for the Arnold press and then dropped to 12 and 15lb dumbbells for the remainder of the exercises. Thanks Caroline!

Great to focus on strength work. My shoulders were pumped. I tried using 12.5kg but the form was not good, so dropped to 9’s and did more reps. Still trying to increase my strength so this workout challenged me. Triceps were a Beast too 😅 The time literally flew by today!! Thank you Caroline for your positive energy today 🤩

For me it was the 90 minute wall sit.
1st: I collapsed 3 times, 2nd I callapsed once, 3rd I made it by focusing on breathing.
In my defence I was wearing 15kg weighted vest.

I just did this and omg my arms are on 🔥 this was one of the most intense arm workouts I've done and then an extra set of curls, I thought my biceps were going to split open... Caroline was suggested to me by a female friend. And these workouts are serious!! I used to do a lot of P90X type workouts but wanted something a bit more focused on resistance workouts. My legs are sore from Day 1 and im sure tomorrow my upper body will be the same. I wasn't sure if these workouts were designed for women or not. But after 2 days of this im sold. Great job Caroline. I will be using you for the next chapter of my fitness journey!
Day1 was So Fun! 🤩 Surprised I was able to complete 90sec. Wall Sits (thanks for the tip in the description). Legs feel Stronger but Bum's sore. Looking forward to today's Intense Upperbody wo. Let's GO! 😆👊

I didn’t fully feel this one until I dropped my weights after that last set….and my arms turned to jelly. Working on curling with 15lbs, and today was the most reps I’ve ever managed before having to drop to 10lbs in each hand. I got through 5/9 bicep sets with the 15s. Love that feeling of slow and steady growth and progress💪🏻
UPDATE (August 2023): Redoing this workout one year later, smashing through every set of those bicep curls with 15s, realizing I’m ready for 20s and buying myself a pair to celebrate 🎉😊
Wow! Amazing strength! Is this also for men? I did this with my auntie but it was brutal! I could only manage with 1 lb dumbbells but lasted barely 11 minutes when my arms completely gave up. My auntie did the entire lesson using 25 lbs and 15 lbs dumbbells! I feel really low and defeated.
Unfortunately I’m not able to do some of these shoulder exercises due to a full rotator cuff tear ..I usually improvise or lower my weights considerably. Surgery is in three weeks. Trying not to do more damage. Kudos to Caroline and all of her followers! I really love her workouts!

My legs were shaking after yesterday and today I have a certain level of DOMS in my quads. Loved this upper body workout! I love training upper body and I had to switch down and switch up weights pretty much every exercise and loved being able to push whereas I'd have switched down to lower weights and stayed there a few months back train like a beast, indeed! let's go!

I always wonder too. I took a film class ages ago and did some editing but I’m assuming the technology now makes it much easier... back when I did it (like over 10 yes ago!) it probably would’ve taken days to do a video like this. 😂

My left hand (not dominant hand) tends to fall off faster than my right hand (dominant hand).. any kind soul can assist some tips? Thank you lovely Girvanators!!❤❤
My left arm is a little weaker than my right too. I would suggest doing unilateral moves to build up strength in your weaker side...like Caroline’s unilateral series from a couple of weeks ago. She has some good tips there about matching reps on each side. Doesn’t help immediately fir this workout...but will help in the longer term. Matthew
Im a tennis player so my dominant hand is significantly stronger than my other so I understand your issue 😩 what I do to get my non-dominant hand to catch up with my other is I normally perform an extra 10-12 reps of a certain exercise after the workout. Doesn’t seem like much at the time but there should be a difference in the long run!! :)
This workout is a good opportunity to train and build your weaker arm. Use the same weights but push you your weaker arm.
If the are unilateral exercise, train the weakest arm first and count the reps or time. Repeat the same number on the strong arm, do not go over.
If you are working both arms, stop both arms when one fails.
Also start using your weaker arm more in daily tasks.
Squat university has some wonderful tips to help with stability . His channel hs helped me many times with small things to help my workouts :)
I was so sore after day 1 of this series that I actually forgot to comment ont that video😅 I struggled to walk all day yesterday and getting out of bed this morning was an adventure, but I'm glad to be training with Caroline again after a long break😁

I can’t believe how much stronger I am at tricep push-ups and how much muscle is starting to show.
I’ve got a few weights and a bunch of bands. So for the lateral and front and some of the bicep work I wanted to try out a band, just to see, I liked the constant tension from the band, that tension worked great for the side and front raises. I’m in between weight ranges on some of the moves so adding in the band helped me add a little more tension where I was not able to go up to my next weight set. I’ll have to play around with the bands to see where they can fit in for me, which moves, maybe even a band plus a dumbbell at the same time where appropriate.

Today I put a mirror in front of me while working out, jesus christ...!!!! My arms are toned like I never thought they could have been toned :D It is truly sad I have been working out since 2012, yet none of my online (even paid) trainers couldnt do with my arms what Caroline managed in 3,5 months! Incredible... I was like "No Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy..... look at all these muscles when doing lateral raises :D " Thank you so much!!!!!!

It’s amazing how sitting on a chair makes it more managable to press!
Noticed a great improvement in the lateral and frontal raises.. I used to really force it to get one rep in.
Same goes with the triceps and biceps work.. The curls were easier with the 7.5 and skullcrushers weren’t as devistating as the used to be!
