I don't have to workout for an hour, instructions are clear, not a bunch of chit chat, preview of the next move with demonstration, rest periods, and the best instructor! I done with the Epic 3 but I love this workout. Being a busy mum and working out for 30 minutes it's the best time for me.. Able to do it while children are in bed. Thanks Caroline.. 😊
Oh my goodness! I can’t believe how different this iron series is from our other series. My triceps were trembling! I really feel my muscles tired, I have to stop now and then. The focus on the movement and control is amazing. And the 30 min format is perfect!

@@jessebeegee you want to be obese? do you mean big? obese is a medical term. also these exercises also burn calories, obvs not as high as cardio but any exercise is good exercise imo.
This series is ideal for me. I'm fasting for Ramadan and I have a lot less time for my daily workout this month. This series couldn't have come at a better time. Short, effective and perfect for me to maintain my muscle despite being in a caloric deficit. THANK YOU Caroline!
I'm just using 4kg, but find that's enough for me. Keep trying with 8kg, but many exercises I can't do with them and others only a few reps. I think so long as you're doing it with some weights it's fine. You'll work up, I'm sure.

Hooray Matthew 👏👏 wasn't it brilliant. It got so much out of us in a short space of time. The 🔥🔥 were unreal. Feeling tired & sore in upper body from all the push ups on add on Sunday so only used 10,7.5&6kg. Didn't go near 12.5kg as I wouldn't have had control with them. Add on was brilliant. Love that one plus I did another 10 mins upper body with d/b to finish off arms. Hopefully I won't be too sore tomorrow. See you in the morning 💪

I used a personal trainer for a year & when his gym closed last year I thought I’d never find another trainer that was “work smarter, not harder” until I stumbled across Caroline’s programs. Now I’m back on track & getting stronger every day!!

I've been struggling with my body weight and those extra pounds for over a decade. I started training a few years ago, but not consistently. I’m so glad to see a shoulder and tricep workout without pushups! 😅 I hurt my shoulder several weeks ago, and push-ups seem to be the thing that hurts them the most, so it’s great to have a workout where I don’t have to make major modifications. I might still need to make a few, depending on the angles and how a couple of the exercises feel, but I’m confident I’ll get through it. Absolutely loving this series, Caroline. I’m actually looking forward to working out again, and I so appreciate your putting this together for us. ❤️❤️
Hi...I do hope your shoulder is OK...take care of yourself...and I hope your workout goes well! As you say you may need to make modifications! Hope you have a good workout...and as I say I do hope your shoulder is fine...have you seen a physio about it? I’ve been having a little bit of trouble with my elbow and seeing a physio has helped me to have confidence in what I can do and what Perhaps I shouldn’t! Hope you have a lovely day Matthew

I actually woke up a bit early, so just finished my workout! 👍🙌 I did make the modifications, and was able to lift more than I thought in certain exercises (mainly triceps 😅), which was super encouraging, as I’m sure you know. ☺️ I did see a physio and they said to rest doing certain movements, which I have, and I’m also lifting lighter in some exercises, which is fine, because it’s doing the trick. Thank you for the recommendation, and -as always - for the encouragement. This was an awesome workout, and I hope yours was, too! And I hope you have a beautiful Spring day! 😊🌷🌼

Before Caroline I never used to enjoy working shoulders now I love it, I'm definitely improving as can now lift 10kg on shoulders! I'm sure soon I can increase to 12kg! Triceps is my absolute favourite upper body part to train! Can always seem to lift heavier on Triceps so tend do use 12s for that! Legs was fab yesterday! Used 15kgs throughout and did Caroline's ad on of 10 minutes quad with the plank at the end. Have a great session everyone! Thank you as always Caroline ♥️

Challenging but defintely doable. I played around with my weights a bit today and tried to use some heavier ones where possible. Unfortuntaley my grip is still proving to be a bit of a problem, but I imagine this is my body's way of forcing me to focus on getting my form basically perfect before picking up my 12.5kg weights. I enjoyed today's add on, which is odd because I typically don't really like direct ab training. I think training with Caroline is so mcuh fun because the challenge makes it worth being pushud out of my comfrot zone. I guess I just really like seeing how things improve over time - even if I'm not super patient with my progress. Thanks for another intense session, Caroline! Much love from South Africa

I couldn’t do this one yesterday, so I had to do it today (while tomorrow I will be doing glutes and hamstrings day 😂) and I can absolutely say that I loveeeed it! This workout is amazing.. ( but very hard) and not a chair dip or tricep push-up in site! The one minute durations are a big challenge but you certainly feel those muscle groups working 🔥.. after every post workout stretch when you do that last tip toe stretch, your smile makes Me 🥹.. and I blow a kiss 😘 and thank you 🙏.. ❤❤

Playing Catch Up a little so today I completed this with 17.5 & 11kg DBs. The press I had to set them down on the second rotation at 45 secs before completing another two reps. I love the tips - for those of us who lifted before it always good to reset and undo the bad habits that sometimes come with lifting for a while. So thank you Caroline 😊. Triceps can be tough and its hard to increase the weight the way you can with a bigger muscle group so today I used the 11 which was taxing but effective. Great 30mins as always 👍

I recently started the Iron series. I finished Epic I and II back to back but with the summer heat I couldn’t bring myself to start Epic III. Because I did want to keep moving and building I decided to give this serie a try and I love it! 30 minutes of hard work that flies by

I am loving this series so far! Each workout has been perfect. Especially as Triathlon season is ramping up, the kids have end of the year activities, I am easily able to incorporate these workouts. Well done Trish sounds like you rocked this. Loved the format of exercises but struggled with weights today. Went with 10kg, 7.5kg & 6kg. Upper body feels tired & sore today after the push ups in the add on on Sunday but as always wasn't giving up. I could feel the heat coming from those shoulders & triceps. Loved the ab add on. Those little tucks a killer on the abs. Just to finish me off went on to do a 10 min upper body workout with dumbbells as I have a little time this morning. I think we will be sore in the morning. Also can feel those glutes getting tender too so I'll probably be like a board tomorrow 😱😱 feeling wonderful now anyway 😜

And remember that in so many other exercises you are using your core muscles too...in presses, rows, Bulgarian lunges etc! Appreciate this program , its Ramadan so a quick 30 minute workout is the best !! I started Caroline last year with epic heat which was majority 30 mins too and it was so effective and this year I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to fit working out in , with exams coming up and fasting/ praying , I was considering repeating EPIC heat but really wanted to do mainly weights as I love getting stronger but literally the week Ramadan began so did this program , thank god! So thankyouu Caroline , maybe next year Ramadan another 30 minute series if you want to 😬😉😊🥰

Loved this and used the heaviest weights I had. Still have to baby my left shoulder due to surgery but working my way slow and steady! The add on tucked abs for me was more challenging with my legs being heavy from leg day yesterday but managed my best. How did everyone like this workout? ❤️🌹

This was 🔥🔥🔥 Used 10kgs for shoulder press which I don’t usually do, and 8kg for arnold presses💪🏻 Somehow my elbows really don’t like any form of “crushers”, so I use light weights and might switch them out with tricep press or kickbacks sometimes ☺️ absolutely in love with this program!!

@@littleanina1 Hi Anina...that’s such an important point...it is so important to use the weight that is right for you...not what anyone else is using. 4 kg is actually pretty heavy for an exercise like skullcrushers which puts strain, as you say, on the elbows!
I love how measured and intentional Caroline’s movements are - it’s not a race. I’m trying to lift heavy and max out at 8-10 reps - her pace makes that doable. Thanks CG. Loving this series.

Hey Caroline! Just found out that i’m pregnant and I was wondering if you would ever consider making a pregnancy workout plan? I’d literally pay money to have a pregnancy workout plan from you! I’ve gained so much from your workouts and I appreciate the amazing content!
@@RZ-kn8ddnot all pregnancies agree with weighted workouts though, and you're generally told not to lift anything heavier than 5 kg.. Plus pregnancy workouts are so extremely gentle in comparison to regular ones, it's a world of a difference. Don't think you should just randomly guess like that.
@@sylthrina165I am pregnant with my third baby and I have never been told not to lift more than any specific amount. After pregnancy (post partum) for the first roughly couple weeks to 12 weeks or so, sure, while your body heals. But not during pregnancy. Maybe others are different. But like I said before, all of Caroline’s workouts can be modified if needed.
@@sylthrina165it depends on what month you’re in. But you can lift weights if you’re used to it. I, as a physiotherapist would tell you that the weights lifting depends on you and your condition if you hit the gym on a daily basis and know your body well you can lift. There are no researches that forbid weight lifting for pregnant women

I am honestly LOVING this program! It’s something I look forward to every day I appreciate how you focus on quality over quantity. I never feel like I’m not getting a good enough workout because I need to take a second to work on my form or lower the weights. Having the tips on screen is wonderful. I’m very proud of myself. Managed to use 10lb weights for the lateral raises!
I am loving this program! It was exactly what I was looking for. Oh my goodness! I can’t believe how different this iron series is from our other series. My triceps were trembling! I really feel my muscles tired, I have to stop now and then. The focus on the movement and control is amazing. And the 30 min format is perfect!

This series is ideal for me. I'm fasting for Ramadan and I have a lot less time for my daily workout this month. This series couldn't have come at a better time. Short, effective and perfect for me to maintain my muscle despite being in a caloric deficit. THANK YOU Caroline!

Anyone else using 2.5kg dumbbells and finding it a good work out..hoping to see strength increase to use heavier weights in future
I'm just using 4kg, but find that's enough for me. Keep trying with 8kg, but many exercises I can't do with them and others only a few reps. I think so long as you're doing it with some weights it's fine. You'll work up, I'm sure.

Hooray Matthew 👏👏 wasn't it brilliant. It got so much out of us in a short space of time. The 🔥🔥 were unreal. Feeling tired & sore in upper body from all the push ups on add on Sunday so only used 10,7.5&6kg. Didn't go near 12.5kg as I wouldn't have had control with them. Add on was brilliant. Love that one plus I did another 10 mins upper body with d/b to finish off arms. Hopefully I won't be too sore tomorrow. See you in the morning 💪

I've been struggling with my body weight and those extra pounds for over a decade. I started training a few years ago, but not consistently. However, I discovered this channel several months ago and I have to say that I'm hooked. I've been training at least twice a week. I'd like to thank you, Caroline!
I’m so glad to see a shoulder and tricep workout without pushups! 😅 I hurt my shoulder several weeks ago, and push-ups seem to be the thing that hurts them the most, so it’s great to have a workout where I don’t have to make major modifications. I might still need to make a few, depending on the angles and how a couple of the exercises feel, but I’m confident I’ll get through it. Absolutely loving this series, Caroline. I’m actually looking forward to working out again, and I so appreciate your putting this together for us. ❤️❤️

I actually woke up a bit early, so just finished my workout! 👍🙌 I did make the modifications, and was able to lift more than I thought in certain exercises (mainly triceps 😅), which was super encouraging, as I’m sure you know. ☺️ I did see a physio and they said to rest doing certain movements, which I have, and I’m also lifting lighter in some exercises, which is fine, because it’s doing the trick. Thank you for the recommendation, and -as always - for the encouragement.

Before Caroline I never used to enjoy working shoulders now I love it, I'm definitely improving as can now lift 10kg on shoulders! I'm sure soon I can increase to 12kg! Triceps is my absolute favourite upper body part to train! Can always seem to lift heavier on Triceps so tend do use 12s for that! Legs was fab yesterday! Used 15kgs throughout and did Caroline's ad on of 10 minutes quad with the plank at the end. Have a great session everyone! Thank you as always Caroline ♥️

Challenging but defintely doable. I played around with my weights a bit today and tried to use some heavier ones where possible. Unfortuntaley my grip is still proving to be a bit of a problem, but I imagine this is my body's way of forcing me to focus on getting my form basically perfect before picking up my 12.5kg weights.
I enjoyed today's add on, which is odd because I typically don't really like direct ab training. I think training with Caroline is so mcuh fun because the challenge makes it worth being pushud out of my comfrot zone. I guess I just really like seeing how things improve over time - even if I'm not super patient with my progress.

This workout is amazing.. ( but very hard) and not a chair dip or tricep push-up in site! The one minute durations are a big challenge but you certainly feel those muscle groups working 🔥.. after every post workout stretch when you do that last tip toe stretch, your smile makes

Playing Catch Up a little so today I completed this with 17.5 & 11kg DBs. The press I had to set them down on the second rotation at 45 secs before completing another two reps. I love the tips - for those of us who lifted before it always good to reset and undo the bad habits that sometimes come with lifting for a while. So thank you Caroline 😊. Triceps can be tough and its hard to increase the weight the way you can with a bigger muscle group so today I used the 11 which was taxing but effective. Great 30mins as always 👍

I recently started the Iron series. I finished Epic I and II back to back but with the summer heat I couldn’t bring myself to start Epic III. Because I did want to keep moving and building I decided to give this serie a try and I love it! 30 minutes of hard work that flies by

I am loving this series so far! Each workout has been perfect. Especially as Triathlon season is ramping up, the kids have end of the year activities, I am easily able to incorporate these workouts. Day 7 Smashed & 15min. Tucked Abs wo. Fiery Sesh! Shoulders were HOT and Triceps pumped. Toughest was the Shoulder Press and Overhead extension as tris were nearly fatigued. Superb Finisher! Last beep came at the right time 😆. Feels Great after!

Well done Trish sounds like you rocked this. Loved the format of exercises but struggled with weights today. Went with 10kg, 7.5kg & 6kg. Upper body feels tired & sore today after the push ups in the add on on Sunday but as always wasn't giving up. I could feel the heat coming from those shoulders & triceps. Loved the ab add on. Those little tucks a killer on the abs. Just to finish me off went on to do a 10 min upper body workout with dumbbells as I have a little time this morning. I think we will be sore in the morning. Also can feel those glutes getting tender too so I'll probably be like a board tomorrow 😱😱 feeling wonderful now anyway 😜

I started Caroline last year with epic heat which was majority 30 mins too and it was so effective and this year I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to fit working out in , with exams coming up and fasting/ praying , I was considering repeating EPIC heat but really wanted to do mainly weights as I love getting stronger but literally the week Ramadan began so did this program , thank god! So thankyouu Caroline , maybe next year Ramadan another 30 minute series if you want to 😬😉😊🥰

First time doing a 30 minute workout with you and oh my God I absolutely loved it. Can't wait for my heavier weights to come Tuesday and go for it with them. Want to feel good for my wedding in October. Xx

Loved this and used the heaviest weights I had. Still have to baby my left shoulder due to surgery but working my way slow and steady! The add on tucked abs for me was more challenging with my legs being heavy from leg day yesterday but managed my best. How did everyone like this workout? ❤️🌹

My legs were like jelly by the body only yesterday! Great to have this programming back to upper body - just hope I hold onto the bike & can ride later for work ! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 that is so funny Tony. Hope you were able to hold onto that bike😉😉 wasn't it an intense upper body session. The 🔥🔥 was unreal. My body feeling fatiqued today and sore from Sunday's add on so used 10, 7.5 & 6kg today and struggled a bit but pumped on. Abs add on done too plus another 10 min upper body with d/b done too so arms feels worked. I'm amazed how such simple basic exercises are making me work so hard in 30 mins. Loving this slow intensity series. I'll have a coffee please💪💪

This is my favorite series yet! Perfect timed workouts but still very challenging. I’m burning comparable cals compared to some of the 60 min workouts. We don’t deserve you, Caroline! 💕

This was 🔥🔥🔥 Used 10kgs for shoulder press which I don’t usually do, and 8kg for arnold presses💪🏻 Somehow my elbows really don’t like any form of “crushers”, so I use light weights and might switch them out with tricep press or kickbacks sometimes ☺️ absolutely in love with this program!!
OMG I felt the elbows too hey. I thought my form was off😅😅😅
Morning Anina...sounds like you’ve had a great workout! Yes the “crushers” moves are always hard aren’t they? I can do them now with 8 kg...but it’s taken me a while to build up to that! You did brilliantly to do shoulder presses with 10 kg! Hope you have a lovely day! Matthew

@@littleanina1 Hi Anina...that’s such an important point...it is so important to use the weight that is right for you...not what anyone else is using. 4 kg is actually pretty heavy for an exercise like skullcrushers which puts strain, as you say, on the elbows!
I love how measured and intentional Caroline’s movements are - it’s not a race. I’m trying to lift heavy and max out at 8-10 reps - her pace makes that doable. Thanks CG. Loving this series.

Hey Caroline! Just found out that i’m pregnant and I was wondering if you would ever consider making a pregnancy workout plan? I’d literally pay money to have a pregnancy workout plan from you! I’ve gained so much from your workouts and I appreciate the amazing content!
You can do all of her workouts while pregnant. Just modify as needed! I’m sure by now you’ve already had your baby though lol.

@@RZ-kn8ddnot all pregnancies agree with weighted workouts though, and you're generally told not to lift anything heavier than 5 kg.. Plus pregnancy workouts are so extremely gentle in comparison to regular ones, it's a world of a difference. Don't think you should just randomly guess like that.
@@sylthrina165I am pregnant with my third baby and I have never been told not to lift more than any specific amount. After pregnancy (post partum) for the first roughly couple weeks to 12 weeks or so, sure, while your body heals. But not during pregnancy. Maybe others are different. But like I said before, all of Caroline’s workouts can be modified if needed.
@@sylthrina165it depends on what month you’re in. But you can lift weights if you’re used to it. I, as a physiotherapist would tell you that the weights lifting depends on you and your condition if you hit the gym on a daily basis and know your body well you can lift.
There are no researches that forbid weight lifting for pregnant women

I appreciate how you focus on quality over quantity. I never feel like I’m not getting a good enough workout because I need to take a second to work on my form or lower the weights. Having the tips on screen is wonderful.
