Thanks Overspray. Just got back from seeing it on the truck. The color's a little light, but I didn't do the color match. The part and paint got dropped off. Is what it is. Tomorrow I'll be starting on straightening the lower wheel arch by the back bumper(same truck). This should be interesting.
I gotta do the same repair on my ram in tequila sunrise...I'm hoping it's a fairly easy color to deal with and if I'm lucky won't have to do any blending, but guess I'll find out soon lol I love the rams in that blue color, I thought about painting my entire truck that color...but quickly changed my mind on that idea once I thought about all the other work involved with doing that like the door jams, engine compartment, back sides of hoods, doors, etc...lol. thanks for the vid it's helpful
Thanks for the support. Glad it was helpful. The fender did come up a little light depending on the angle you looked at it.(chance you take doing a single piece but that was the deal). I also have a video where I do a repair on same truck and blend from the bumper into the box side. Color blended nice.
In the garage I have a Devilbiss 5hp 60 gal. single stage charge air pro commercial duty(30 years old going strong)and when I have to go somewhere there is on air I take my 5hp 20 gal. Devilbiss pro air 2 and the sprayit guns.
Very nice SWC
Thanks for the support, brother.
Well done looks good 👍🏻

@@swc-diygarage awesome, sounds pretty much like what I need to do to my truck as well. I will check that video out too, thanks for the heads up.
Nice job man. I like that color.
Thanks BrusHstroKeZ. I had to do that intro after the fact. Lost all the good footage up to where I put on the sealer.
SW Customs I hate when that happenZ. I usually don’t lose footage, just for get to take it of the important partZ 😂
What’s the name of the color speedway blue?
I think it was Deep Water Blue but I'll see if I still have the paint can.
Correction Paint code PB5 Electric Blue.
What kind of air compressor are you using
