Donkeys years ago my mate had a black mk2 escort with an aftermarket front wing. He just used t-cut and shined it up to perfectly match the rest of the car. Nice job on that 👍
I am about to start painting my 97 chevy crew cab. Awesome video I have a whole new front clip like brand new parts and was wondering the best way to go about painting them. Awesome video dude.
Awesome this Grant 👍👍 got my notebook out and will watch over again, keep them coming please! I got made redundant a while ago and would like to do a course in car restoration, being a massive car and truck fan, so these videos are superb in showing how to do things the right way 👍👍 many thanks 👍👍 stay well mate.

Your right dealing with factory primer the way you do,use to scotch some straight off and primer but sometimes they come in some right states so had to sand it all off anyway.
Pretty much how we do it where I work. Brilliant spray gun that iwata really recommend it 👌 good work Grant. You must love it. Lol. The motor trade - once you’re in it’s hard to get out. Lol.

Thanks for sharing that, really interesting to see how much preparation goes into it. I meant to ask after the van bonnet but is there any chance of you showing how you use the panel machines to get dents out? I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd be interested.
thats the same way we do it except we use wet and dry paper . on another note hope you are going to be changing units as that one has got well water logged now since been messing about with the roof seems like no body knows what they doing lol
Another great and informative video, thank you,can I ask, don't you do anything to the inside of the panel, doesn't it just rust if its left in just the factory primer?thanks again
You can do there not painted behind from factory I just wax oil them before fitting for some extra protection, I can’t do it until the paint is cured 👍👍👍👍
If you are referring to the paint you don’t need to sand only if say a bug lands in the paint you can nib that out but in general you don’t sand between coats of paint 👍👍👍👍👍
Great work , what mask do you use? Also do you have different nozzle sizes for base and clear? Or do you just have a dedicated clear gun to avoid contamination. Also would you do a video on painting Matt and satin finish
Yes if go back and see I have different guns for each part and as for Matt and satin I don’t really do many because you can’t polish out imperfections with them finishes so best to be done in a proper booth 👍👍👍👍

You can use epoxy but if it’s a modern vehicle probably not needed 👍👍
