I think you need to let it sit for several weeks to macerate and then come back to it. The scent profile and performance will improve significantly.
Is this a thing that happens with a lot of fragrances? Because I noticed it but I didn’t know if it was just me or not
@@archiewinney7622 ya it happens a lot and is especially true with any kind of middle eastern fragrance. After the bottle has sat for a few weeks or even months it gets way better in terms of smell and performance.
It's curious that a TH-camr like you says that this perfume is bad, if a reviewer who does know about perfumes like Gents Scents says that it is excellent, who do we believe? 😆

I know, right? 😅 It's so weird to me, I know Ash from GentsScents spoke very highly of it, as did Cubaknow and Ross/TLTG - their reviews are what got me hyped for it! These are all reviewers whose tastes are generally similar to mine and whose opinions I often agree with. That's why I was so surprised by how much I didn't like it! Everybody likes different things, I suppose 🤷♂
Or you can just understand that different people have different opinions.
My honest opinion: This one smells nothing like CDNIM. No harsh opening. This is a very smooth opening. Sweet l, at the same time spicy. Well blended. Juice quality is awesome. I can see some similarities with Sauvage elixir for the first 4 to 5 hrs and then dry down is very similar to CDNIM Parfum version. Actually I am enjoying elixir and CDNIM here. Worth every penny✌️
