I think you need to let it sit for several weeks to macerate and then come back to it. The scent profile and performance will improve significantly.

My honest opinion: This one smells nothing like CDNIM. No harsh opening. This is a very smooth opening. Sweet l, at the same time spicy. Well blended. Juice quality is awesome. I can see some similarities with Sauvage elixir for the first 4 to 5 hrs and then dry down is very similar to CDNIM Parfum version. Actually I am enjoying elixir and CDNIM here. Worth every penny✌️

Tony Iommi is my favourite as well. I just got Via Cavour yesterday and haven’t had a chance to give it a full wearing? Just on my hand, but it seems really nice. La Capitale and Erba Gold are really nice as well if you haven’t tried them.

I was going to disagree with the clones part, but after listening, you are right. I think people should only buy clones AFTER smelling the "real" thing and making sure they are fine with the smell, instead of just buying clones because its cheap. I just started collecting fragrances and I got some clones, but didn't like most of them because I blind bought, and they just weren't up to standard for me. However, because of this, I saw myself going back and trying to buy more because they were "cheap". I realized what I was doing and stopped myself, but it can become a habit. It's always better to wait it out and test things before spending money, no matter how cheap or expensive something is.

Needed to watch this as a friendly reminder to be smart about my frag purchases. Thanks, man!
