Most (97%) of people out there are not into fragrances like us fragrance geeks therefore they won't know the difference in quality and ingredients used from "A" fragrance vs "B" fragrance!.Use the one you can afford and that smells really nice to you and to others and you'll be JUST fine, I know this by experience!.On the other hand if you are a perfectionist and rabid fragrances collector and have the $$$ to spend then go out and knock yourself out!!!!

When I tried Aventus I sprayed it on one arm and prayed INTENSE by ARMAF and the sales lady said as she didn't know which arm had what and she said the THE ARM WITH ARMAF smelt great as Creed Aventus does I said hun that's ARMAF not Creed she was speechless so I can buy 10 bottles of ARMAF to Creed no one would know unless you are a perfumer or a fragrance freak.

I got 3 bottles of 3ml samples of Millesime imperial and absolutely loved the smell. I'm not willing to pay the price for a 100ml bottle as I think it's been reformulated so many times and furthermore as of now Creed is not owned by Creed themselves anymore, if not mistaken they sold the company to Blackrock and obviously the new owners are not able to recreate the same good and quality Creed fragrances. I'm gonna give a try to Milestone

  • @sepita10

Came just to show my support. Don't have the money for any creed over here :( but you do the clearest reviews, i will still watch them all. I like that you talk about projection, longevity and sillage, incredibly some reviewers don't even mention those and for non collectors like many of us thats almost as important as the fragrance itself. Keep it up! And don't keep us waiting for so long lol.

I just got a bottle of Milestone, and it honestly puzzled me. I tried it out the evening I got it, and it really didn't do much. I could barely feel it on me. I tried it again during the day. It was pretty warm out, and then I noticed it. I felt a watery-citrus-fruity scent to it. It still wasn't terribly powerful, but it was there.

Just got Milestone today as my first Armaf, due to the reputation the house has gotten. I think it's okay so far, starting to think I should have gotten Sillage as a fresh pick from the house. The opening is a mess to me, but I sort of expected that being a clone. A lot more floral than expected due to the overpowering violet, I get more of a honeydew scent once everything finally calms down from the "red fruits" in it. More musty than I was expecting as well, at least it was only $30. However I've had a couple fragrances I've hated at first but grew to love (Montale Explorer comes to mind) so that can probably happen with this one as well, will see.

I agree with everything you said in this very good comparison. I used Milestone last summer a lot, considering the price it is not "painful" to spray it. Perfect for the beach. I received a compliment by a female colleague who came closer to look at the computer I was working and she said "Matteo you smell so good". I was surprised. The first hour is not that good, kinda metallic and synthetic, but after 2-3 hours is very sweet, floral and fruity. Millesime I tried at the Creed store and it is on another level of course but the price is a big obstacle.

exactly - no one in the world wants to play with a clone, everyone rather have the real deal but it costs around $400 in Australia, there is ZERO justification for me to drop that money on a fragrance. I have all 3 of the 'popular' Armaf, including the CDNIM LE - all 3 Armaf set me back $180. I would have had to spend $1,400 for Creed. Love to have original, but hard to justify it..

The most expensive Frag I had no prob paying for and in Australia we pay more for frags than anywhere I've seen was my back up bottles of Dior Elixir which in Australia the 100ml retails for $350, I paid $205 AUD for the 60ml first bottle but 3 max 4 sprays and it's still projecting and smelling great 10hrs later. I'm a designer collector , so many hidden gems Ive spent near 3 yrs building up and currently sit at 87. Bottles with 2 cheapies in Coolwater Parfum and Nortica Voyage for after having a shower.

Milestone sucks! Smells like paint thinner.

That’s just the initial opening. Give it a few minutes to settle, but at that point you’ll have olfactory fatigue.

No it doesn't smell like paint thinner. Wear it for a whole day. It takes time for it to settle down and it becomes very smooth by mid day especially if it's warm. In my opinion it's well worth the $40 I spent on it.

@@titusalabat5173 I wanted it to smell good. Just, comes off as a paint thinner smell. Fragrance is very!!!! Subjective, like how you see.
