Putin was not offering peace for his outrageous terms - merely a cease-fire. Its important to emphasize that it was not a serious offer.

7:49 to 8:05 Putin’s stunt is not a “peace demand,” but a “surrender demand.” Ukraine’s position could fairly and accurately be described as a “peace demand,” as they are demanding Putin end his illegal, unjustified and genocidal war of aggression and conquest immediately and unilaterally, and that all Russian soldiers, mercenaries, agents and assets return to internationally recognized Russian territory, that all bombings and missile attacks end, and that all prisoners of war, hostages and abducted children be returned. Putin, on the other hand, demands that Ukraine lift up her skirt, bend over, grab her knees, accept their fate quietly and then thank Putin and his orcs for the “privilege.” It will never happen. They have been, and will continue to, fight and resist to the death before giving up their land, their dignity, their freedom, their livelihood, their sovereignty and their honor to Putin. Good for them, but they won’t have to sacrifice their best men and women, young and old, to the kremlin much longer. It may end this year, we may not even be half way to the end, but it WILL end with a Ukrainian victory and an orcish defeat. SLAVA UKRAINI 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦 HEROIAM SLAVA

When Russian aircraft violate NATO airspace, NATO should immediately, without warning, treat them exactly how Turkey treated them. Then maybe they won’t do it again. In fact, they should enforce a no fly zone 10 miles from NATO borders. Let Putin complain, then tell him to eff off.

Putin has notoriously ignored treaties. The Budapest Memorandum is ironic here. Under the agreement, the signatories (Russia, Britain, USA) offered Ukraine "security assurances" in exchange for its adherence to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and for Ukraine to surrender the Soviet era Nukes on their soil).

Losing a thousand soldiers a day may gradually be noticed in Russia. More and more men being taken out of the employment market to keep Russia producing goods and carry out services. Apparently the submarine leaving Cuba is falling apart. The Kazan's soundproofing panels were falling off making it extremely noisy to operate inside the vessel. Not very stealthy. There was also a huge hole in the midsection of the submarine. Poseidon is watching closely.

btw. I was first very happy to see Bolsonaro out, Lula in - but now seeing the Brazil didn't even SIGN TERRITORIAL INTEGRITY CLAUSE, the EU should inform its citizens that we shouldn't travel to Brazil anymore. The UK, USA, Canada, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, and Norway should all put up restrictions on us from travelling ANY COUNTRY, who did not sign up for respecting territorial integrity
What would Brazilian people think if, as a consequence of their political leaders stupidity, the whole Western hemisphere comes "Nah....you were actually part of Portugal, you speak Portuguese so you're just a breakaway country of Portugal and therefore we consider you ɓeing still part of Portugal "

Great work as usual, but a little confused, everyone is talking about Putin's peace proposal when it was actually a ceasefire proposal, meaning Ukraine and the West would have to give Russia land, lifting of sanctions, NATO, etc. That would then give Ukraine the right to sit down and talk/negotiate peace. So what would the hell would these demands look like? another 90% of the country. Then Putin can just attack again saying that Ukraine wasn't interested in peace.

NATO is a defence alliance. The main reason Russia is intolerant of NATO is that it creates fixed borders that Russia can no longer redefine. Russia has in the past taken land from Japan and Finland, and will take land again if the situation presents itself.

The government of Turkey i response summoned the Patriarch and there is a diplomatic incident still unfinished in Istanbul,

The predictions of economic disaster have been pronounced for over a year. So far no luck, unfortunately. I think one big reason is companies/businesses cheating and getting around the sanctions.

    1. Russia has devided the world into free countries and countries with dictatorship with unlimited friendship. USA should make free trade agreements with EU, UK, Japan, South Korea etc. and then ask India, Brazil and other BRICS countries, who do they wish to trade with?
    2. If we invite professionals from Russia to work here, would there not be a risk, that they send home part of their salary, which could help to fuel the Russian aggression?
    3. We have been at work with Russia for many years. Putin aggression follow the guidelines on how to boil a frog, so that the frog does not sense that its life is in danger.
    5. The purpose of the new sea drones will be to take down Putins bridge.

Allowing the Muscovite migration to Europe will not bleed the Muscovite economy even for a drop because it is based on the gas and oil exports from a single town in Siberia named Tyumen and does not require any significant workforce, just a handful of seasonal workers. In fact, Muscovy does not need most of its population at all and can spend the surplus at the war in Ukraine almost indefinitely.

Well, lucky for you, me and other supporters of Ukraine, the organisation of Russia will start to break down more and more, and this very dependable fu to the world (you can't get us, see, we will starve ourselves and still fight) will start to become more and more ineffectual, thanks to sanctions, and Ukraining wiping out of the economy. A bit of a bugger when your bravado suddenly disappears because your only lifeline disintergrates. As Brexit is kinda karma against the British Empire, so will this be for the Russian Empire.

    • @betterdonotanswer
      @betterdonotanswer 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

Muscovy is not Russia though. As for the human capital based economy, historical Russia was situated in western Ukraine, which is among the biggest software development hubs now.

Can we please stop with the Cold War era East/West divide? We need to abandon Eastern Europe and also Western Europe as a concept. There's no basis for it to still exist on any level. It's just false and misrepresents the continent. It also plays into the Russian imperial narrative, where whatever they were once able to grab became Eastern Europe. It's also due to elitism and prejudice, that this divide is still being repeated.
