This woman clearly has a deep misunderstanding of what the lived experience of a person with ADHD is like. Yes, for some, ADHD can be overcome with coping mechanisms and the right supports. However, for many it is a genuine disorder - a literal disability in the function of the prefrontal cortex, the most recently evolved part of the brain that performs executive function, decision making, the core capacity that separates us from the other animals. Please stop promoting this sort of unscientific theorizing, it erases the real experience of disabled people. It's tone deaf and ableist.
Well she’s telling through her research and studies. I do agree for some people its on high end of spectrum and they couldn’t function their lives as other people with less severity do.
