I know, I almost panicked at her being on the edge up there! They are so tiny and weigh barely anything. Good that he saw her right away.
I'd HIGHLY recommend supplementing the LITTLE baby boy with milk replacement as well as a little bit of recovery food
I agree,. I tried to figure out who was his Mama, but I didn't know if he has secondary sexual characteristics ( yes, he is a boy). He looks like he was the runt of the litter, but I am sure that you can figure out to fatten him up :-)
Wow you're sutch a great dad for these piggies i can't imagine them with anyone else than you i just rescued a 6 years old African grey parrot who was really abused and neglected she gives me so mutch joy and happiness and she's learning me to eat more healthier she won't eat her vegtables or chop unless i take a bite first i wish people whould stop abusing animals and do more research ☹️
I rescued some parrots last year. Birdtricks, birdnerdsophie and parrotteacher helped me alot with diet conversion etc. ❤️

My pigs were in a clear tote bin 😭😭😭 it was VERY SMALL
When I put them in their new cage they begin wheeling immediately. They have always been human friendly? ❤️💀💀 thank gosh cause I love them
Sorry to hear about Connie. You gave her her best shot at recovery, and a chance to live in a great situation with her family for the remainder of her time. It's a shame she was so malnourished for so long; it's so hard on them. (And shame on that jerk who left a judgmental comment on your insta post. They clearly don't know what they're talking about and what they said is completely unacceptable. You and your vet obviously gave Connie everything possible. It's just part of rescue and animal care that that isn't always going to be enough. You did a wonderful thing rescuing all these little guys.)

You should do a playlist for how to care for them. Looks like you have enough done already to have one. Then reference it in each of your videos to get people paying attention.
Holy crap my heart jumped when I saw the baby in the bunk bed. First I thought it was a pig, then I was like no I’m mistaken, then you said it was a baby you missed. The rush of anxiety jeez 😂😅
I felt so bad afterwards 😂 She was so small I could see or feel her in the bunk bed!

I just found your channel this morning and I absolutely love it! Unfortunately, Guinea pigs are the only animal I'm *highly* allergic to 😭😭. I've gone to a friend's house that had one of them in a room I never went in, and I ended up hospitalized for an asthma attack. I usually forget that I have asthma in the first place because it doesn't bother me much, but if I go anywhere near Guinea pigs, my allergies just go nuts, and it triggers a really bad asthma attack. Your channel is amazing, I can enjoy lots of Guinea pigs without having to worry about going to the hospital after 🤣🤣 thank you so much for saving them. 🥰

They are very lucky to be in this nice cage. As I commented on your previous video, please baby-proof all the grids. Babies can fit through them and growing piggies have gotten their heads stuck in them in the past. Use overlapping grids, cardboard, or coroplast to make sure the babies don't have access to the grids.
The little orange piggie that walked over to the piggie who needs recovery food looks my My guiena pig Pumpkin made made heart melt.

You inspire me sooo much to start rescuing piggies. Especially since losing my girls, my first two piggies ever, I also lost a part of me. I’ve been wanting to do everything I can to rescue piggies and other small animals in need. I’m not in the right place right now to start rescuing but one day I’ll make it happen no matter what. You can definitely see a huge difference in these pigs since the first video you made of them. They're already looking so much healthier and happier and imo less shy/unsure of you, especially after you've been near them for a few minutes and they've realized you're not going to hurt them and in fact have yummy food and clean up their messes. Pigs can tell good people and you're absolutely that.
I saw the rescue video and everything and by the end of the video the question that I couldn't get off my mind was how you would clean the cages... And here you are showing how lol. Thank you 4 the video.

When it comes to syringe feeding they need minimum of 80 of those syringes a day, if they want more then give them more but split into 8 feedings with 10 syringes per feeding and they need to be to the top line, you don't want it too liquidy because they will not get enough nutrients, you can have a 2nd syringe to syringe feed water, you also don't want them too thick and you need a lot of syringes because they do break, you can also use good quality pellets to boil with hot water then leave to cool, they should be fed good quality pellets anyway, at least 1 of the syringe feeds needs to be overnight, this is if they are not eating and/or loosing waight and/or need to put on the waight, if their poops are good you can add tiny amounts of veggies by either grating or blending the veggie like 1 carrot or 1 pepper to give some flavour and nutrients to the Piggie but only if they are not having poop issues

I absolutely adore your products and need to look at ordering, I’m finding that I need to cover the whole base fleece. As I tried pee mats where they most are like you have there, but they seem to actually pee everywhere lol……the idea is to lift and wash the mats daily, then the large fleece weekly. But we were finding that wasn’t working, now we have mats completely covering the fleece to get a week from base one. We have five cages, one with three girls, then two boys, another two boys, a single boy and another single boy ❤
I have no idea how you handle deep cleaning so many cages for your pigs I only have 2 and its so hard to be motivated to do my first piggy Phoebe she is super clean easy to do her cage such a good girl but my Lois oh my gawd she is so so so oh so very messy it take like 15 minutes to just sweep up the poops and wipe down the pee on the plastic sheet I dread having to do her cage because once a week she needs like a deep DEEP clean and the amount of spot clean she needs this girl I swear she could have broken a record she poops mountains no idea how you do it without having a mental breakdown lol

Hello! I love you and your videos I have two piggies myself (both girls). I want to upgrade their cage they have now to a c&c cage from Kavee. But I don’t know which one I should get. 4x2 (with loft and ramp), 5x2 (with loft and ramp) or 6x2 with loft and ramp). I am also maybe going to buy a third Guinea pig in the future! Thanks❤️

Some will get thrown out if it is very spoiled (from pee) and some will get thrown outside in a corner of my backyard 🌾
How often do you clean their home with this set up?
Just curious? Why don't you use bedding like cedar or something other than blankets and mats? I used to have 2- 2'X4' plexiglass cages that I made and I used cedar shavings. When it was time to clean, I just used a dustpan to scoop out the old/dirty shavings, sanitize, refill and DONE! It seems to me that blankets and the extra step of cleaning them is more work.
Have they found that shavings are not safe for GP's now? Or is this just easier for you this way?

how often should you clean out all the fabrics? i want to do this but im finding a lot of mixed answers, some say everyday others say like one a week casue its harmful to clean to often casue they need there poop
Spot clean every day and full cage clean at least once a week! 🧼

I didn't know how little many are, my goodness, they're just pups! Just want to tell you your hay is wonderful, but I need a bigger box!! I have 5 guinea pigs, they eat alot, so I already bought 2 boxes and it goes too fast, would you consider selling me a larger amount? Thanks! I'm going to look at your wish list to see what you might need for the rescues, I also have items I bought for my piggies that were too small or for whatever reason, my pigs didn't use them, if you have a P.O. box, I could send them to you, I know of course people don't know me so they're reluctant to give out an address. Hey Austin so currently my Guinea pig is on critical care . I was watching saskias video she said that you wanna try and make it as thick as possible that the syringe can suck up for the purpose of not watering down the nutrients , but now watching your video you make it more liquid for additional hydration . I’m confused on what consistency to do now 😭pls help❤️
She has 25+ year's of experience. Those are just Austin's preferences.

My vet told me it is best to have watery critical care so they get hydrated at the same time. It is also way easier to suck up into the syringe. I don’t think it being less watery or more watery changes it’s nutritional value. I follow my vets orders.
So sad that Connie didn’t make it. I really wonder why, maybe the change was just too much for her system to handle. 😢❤
