In my opinion, you should make yourself a hangout spot. A little desk with a computer or just a bean bag to be able to relax and hangout with the piggies. I found for myself, I love them in my office, because I spend so much time at my computer. I enjoy watching them while I work. I get excited to go work and hang out with them!
For my lighting, I have actually found LED strip lights work the best! They lay flat on top of the grid and under the Coroplast, no clips needed. Not in the way at all when cleaning. Plus I know the piggies can get to the lights or wire. I even have a remote which lets me change color and brightness.
Love the new layout, glad it seems to be working out for Winston and the herd of ladies :) I think it would be really fun if you could do a 'meet my piggies' video. Just to have a moment to talk about each pig, how they came into your life, what their personalities are like etc. I know you've talked about your individual piggies in different seperate videos but it would be really cool to have a special video dedicated to it. Ofcourse only if you want to and have time for it. Love all your videos!
I have never kept piggies, but I absolutely love your videos. I love critters of all sorts, and watching your videos is like getting to come along and enjoy the hobby with none of the mess or fuss! Thanks for sharing these moments with us, and for all the work you do rescuing these little darlings! ❤
Austin, have you tried using "rice lights"? They are a lot smaller and brighter. The bulbs do not stick out. That might make it easier to clean because you don't have to worry about hitting them. Also they don't get hot so safe for the little loves.
Yes please do a video on cutting coraplast! I have 5 piggies and I'm redoing their cage set up. I want to know how to do the coraplast so I don't have so much "debris" outside of the cage. It would be great to find out how to cut coraplast if you don't have a square or rectangle cage. I have a 90⁰ angle in one part of the cage 😊❤ Also, I'm so sorry about Jojo! I recently lost one of my older piggies and I know it's heartbreaking my thoughts are with you 💖💖💖
OMG MY ORDER FROM THE PIG ROOM JUST ARRIVED OMG THE PIGGY BUNK BED 10000000% WORTH THE MONEY THEY LOVE IT THE SECONT I PUT IT IN THE WOULDN’T GET OF IT OMG LOL DEFO RECOMMEND I AM NOT FROM THE US SO SHIPPING WAS EXPENSIVE AND AM REALLY REGRETTING NOT GETTING MORE ALSO THE BEDS AND MATS ARE AMAZING U CAN REALLY TELL HOW MUCH TIME AND EFFORT AUSTIN PUTS INTO THIS AND IS CHANGING PIGS LIVES IN AN AMZING WAS AUSTIN YOUR AMZING AND HOPE TO MAKE MORE ORDERS WITH YOU IN THE FUTURE💗
I know in the last video of you making the base you used a exacto knife. They do sell a Coroplast cutter at Home Depot as well. A lot safer to use and you won't need to draw the whole line to be able to cut it. It fits in the groves to be able to just cut one layer or to cut the whole piece. Check it out !!!!
The lower cages should come out a little more so they aren't so tucked in and you can see them better. I noticed mine were happier when I did that so they have access to more stimulation and interaction with me. I'm using led rope lighting. The sheath over the led light is thick and easy to put on top of the girls with zip ties. Lights up well and they are LED so low energy.
Think that Olli should stay in that corner. If you move him in the cage next to it then he would be too close to the door. He might be colder there couse of the wind flow. Even with the heater there he would then be colder. Looks good now!
I just went and bought some coraplast at Home Depot so yes please do a video on building a base❤❤❤❤ Also my piggies absolutely love their jumbo bunk beds and pads thank you so much!
I'm wondering if you have ever thought of having a fully inclusive here of all the pigs? And having them in an open space, like a room/half room/part of the basement or something - fully finished basement btw, not just a random cold storage one. I'm asking because you have so many but they obviously get along so well.
I love how happy all your piggies are! You make their cages so lovely and full of things to enhance their lives. You have really got piggie keeping sorted! This was a great video to watch! Very inspirational! Thanks
I would love a video showing all your liners, fleece, mats, tunnels, hides, essentially everything! I am a newer pig owner and I have a few pig room products but I would love inspiration for things to look out for to use for my two boys
Hi Austin, Looking great. The new cage layout looks super cool & more spacious. I'm loving the herd chilling together with Winston, i'm so happy for him 😘
If individual bulbs in the christmas lights break, you can just replace them. You can pull them out of the socket. Not need to replace the whole chain. The reason they all stop working when one breaks is that they are connected in series.
New setup is awesome!! I think Winston and Caroline will be really good friends in the end. I love the piggy bunk beds with the aspect of pig jumpers, my boys LOVE to jump on stuff. It makes it hard to get them new things because they have to be sturdy enough for them and cleanable as well. Will definitely be checking those out. Really awesome job, Austin. You're killing it. Looking forward to the next one.🎉🎉❤❤😊😊
Wow, that was a tough job, well done!🙌 I hope Ollie and Billy will like each other 🙏 I hope you can find solutions for all your single piggies in the future. It makes such a difference in their behavior 🥰 Please make a video for the coroplast tutorial. Actually, I would enjoy seeing a compilation of your piggies room set up over the years. You are such a busy body, renovating it every couple of months 😉
Thats Great News that Winston settling in with his lady friends 😜 love your new cage set up 😊 Yes they can be very messy i remember my lot i had washable paint on the walls & panels that i could clean easier . Great video have a Good weekend 🥰
I absolutely love the changes you have made to the piggies cages! Your piggy bunk beds still get a small reaction as they don’t think that piggies can jump so high, your piggies love them. I love your channel 😂and I am so so pleased that Winston has bonded with a group, that is awesome, he looks different, he looks great, I have a little place in my heart all for Him! ❤❤❤
As for lights..I recommend rf "button" lights. Came in super handy when we had a power outage as the ones I have are battery powered. The trouble is I can't recall where I bought them from...Amazon i guess?
What a huge task! You worked so hard together. The result is amazing! You did a phenomenal job and it was a pleasure to watch! I watched with my kids,we love your Chanel. Sending love. 💕🙏
Thank you. I really need a corpast cutting video. I just rescued 2 boys. And. Omg. I have to order the grids , zip ties clips and coraplast to get them into a better situation.
Hey hello I just found your TH-cam Good things you do sorry you lost Connie. I just lost one of my Pigs from old age. You never know when they are going to pass they hide it well. Rabbits are the same. I wanted to tell you I have a hay box it keeps hay in one area. I took a plastic tote with lid shoe box size or whatever size you can use I took drill used the hole saw drill bit put 6 holes in my lid. If tote is smaller then just 3 holes. In tote I put drilled hole in each side. I run a bungee through side holes. Hooked to side of cage. Then fill up with hay then snap on lid. The pigs get out just what they want. Less mess to clean. Under hay box a cat box with cloth or bedding Guinea pigs poop where they eat. So may be a easier to clean. Some of points I have learned over the years of having G piggies. I love to see the pigs stick their heads in hole to get out hay. Some are picky. Lol
Love the knew room your little piggies are the happiest little piggies ever. There treated like little queens an kings. Love it so much God bless you my friend
Love this video and so happy for Winston and his new friends. You did a great job as usual. A big yes to an organizational video. Looking forward to the next bonding.
Your pig room is so nice and spacious and their cage is so big and beautiful cages I just have one guinea pig her name is pepper and her favorite snack bell pepper we've tried to bond her with other guinea pigs she does not like other guinea pigs but she loves to be around my chihuahua and she loves being around my bunnies
Wasn't sure if you'd tried them but the company that makes your grids also has solid plastic grids; might be worth looking at since you mentioned Plexiglas grid ideas in a previous video? They're pretty comparable in price so it might be a thing to check out!
When you said in your last video I’ll see you next week I was like dang so when I saw this video I was like what and was so excited I’m going to have to by some more of those bamboo chews cus my pigs love them so I absolutely love your channel you inspired me so much to do more of my channel and to upgrade my piggies cage 4 times!!😂 love you!!❤❤
I know this is nine months later; but there where you want to put the garbage can, i saw there is a little vent on the wall that the cover is falling off. I would hate for a guinea pig to be lose and find it and then get into the wall. 🐹💕
I have 14 inch backwalls on my herds enclosure and they still somehow sometimes manage to get pee higher than that on my actual wall. Never under estimate the power of a guinea pig pee gun.
Lovely! 💚 I really like watching your videos with my 6 years old son ☺️ We have 4 ladies guinnie, 3 skinny and one furry one :) Guinea pig was my first pet, I was 5. And from that time always they have special place in my heart 💚 I just have one worry about this bang? Beds.. I think without any blanket on this, piggie can hurt they little legs. You know, stock in that hole, or something. Just my opinion. Nothing personal ☺️ Have a lovely time 🌻💚 Waiting for more videos 🙂 P.s. English is not my first language so...
Even though you added more square footage to one of the cages, I think the new layout actually makes the room look bigger. Do you use incandescent or LED Christmas lights? Does it make a difference?
Hey everyone in the pig room, i love watching your videos they're so informative and engaging. Im just wondering, is a 2x4 c&c cage big enough for two piggies? (I've got limited space). And also do you let your piggies out for floor time/outdoor time?
Hey Austin! I had a question, have u ever had one of ur Guinea pigs get it’s head stuck in one of the grids I just had this happen last night 😩it was horrible… thank God I managed to get it over her head idk what to do to prevent it?? I guess put her in a different cage.. Any advice?
Hi does anyone know what the best size cage is for 2 guinea pigs? I'm moving house and I'm looking to upgrade my pigs from a pet store cage which is a good size but I want something a little bigger and nicer for them. I have 2 girls and 2 boys living in seperate cages :)

Bean bag. They are mini bean bags running around. ❤
That is what I did!
o i ned to do that 😁❤
Definitely suchva great idea, it's fun to watch them too.
Great idea

I would love that too.
Really hope it works out, so happy for Winston to finally have other piggies to be with.

Yes a coroplast tutorial! I'm planning a cage upgrade and it'll be my first time cutting coroplast so I'd love a video to help

What about getting led light strips instead the Xmas lights o3o ?
Love the elevated cage the most 🤍 your piggies see more and get more light 💕
love that Winston can be with all his new friends♥
I would love a organization and a coroplast diy video :D
The coralline door is terrifying
The lower cages should come out a little more so they aren't so tucked in and you can see them better. So happy for Winston! 💗
my friend has a cat named winston
You are such a good piggie parent i ABSOLUTELY love the new layout!!keep doing what you are doing!love this channel
Wow. I know how much work that would have been. Great job.
IKEA has really bright puck lights that you could use to replace the string lights. Seems easier and def brighter.
I would love a video showing all your liners, fleece, mats, tunnels, hides, essentially everything! I am a newer pig owner and I have a few pig room products but I would love inspiration for things to look out for to use for my two boys
Been looking forward to this vid can’t wait to see how it turns out :)
Wow it was lots of work for this renovation + filming everything. Respect👏🏻. I loved watching it. Thank you❤💯
I have my 3 piggie girls in the living room so I can constantly check on them and say hi and wave XD

Do you have anywhere outside where you could discard the hay? Just to cut back on using so many plastic bags.
It would be great for composting!
@@TheL12213 yes!
I have a lifted cage and love it! I use a rolling stool to clean the cages and it makes it easier
That's a really nice pig room.
Love the knew room your little piggies are the happiest little piggies ever. There treated like little queens an kings. Love it so much God bless you my friend
I really enjoy organising myself so yes please do show us 😍
It looks like you have so much more floor space now. It doesn’t look cramped.
I love the little coraline door I need one in my life
Love this video and so happy for Winston and his new friends. You did a great job as usual. A big yes to an organizational video. Looking forward to the next bonding.
Aww I love Kai's little mohawk ^^
Isn’t it the cutest ❤

Yes please do a piggy organisation I never know how to organise my piggy Surprise
Soak the used grids in water vinegar mix then reuse, don't land fill them
When you were cleaning the wall I was getting so frustrated because you kept missing a spot. Yeah, it was a spot on my phone screen, not your wall. 🥴
😂😂😂
great layout- I feel inspired to finally stack my cages!!! Would love to see a new video on cutting coroplast!!!!
I know this is nine months later; but there where you want to put the garbage can, i saw there is a little vent on the wall that the cover is falling off. I would hate for a guinea pig to be lose and find it and then get into the wall. 🐹💕
YES to the organization video! 🤩
Waiting on a restock for some items in the store ❤️❤️❤️
Soon!! 💛
Nice guinea pigs
Looks absolutely amazing, would love to see how u make the coroplast bottom
My Balwin piggy couldnt get along with any other piggies so i had to keep her seperate. I hope Ollie does!
You should make any vid u can regarding your herds room 😅 but love the layout
I have 14 inch backwalls on my herds enclosure and they still somehow sometimes manage to get pee higher than that on my actual wall.
Never under estimate the power of a guinea pig pee gun.
An organization video would be great!
Omg this is the earliest I've beenn
This makes me so happy
Btw they have replacement bulbs for the Christmas lights they have a 60 pack for super cheap ☺️
Lovely! 💚

Have thought of putting the cages on a table?
Yayyy!! New video!♡
I NEED a coroplast cutting tutorial. I've done it many times in my many years owning guinea pigs and I ALWAYS mess up the measurements
Looks so awesome ❤️
What would happen if you put all of the guinea pigs in one huuuuge cage? Would they get along?
I know you mentioned it somewhere but I don't remember. Can you please tell me what are the water bottles you use please?Thank you🙂
Even though you added more square footage to one of the cages, I think the new layout actually makes the room look bigger. Do you use incandescent or LED Christmas lights? Does it make a difference?
I’ll never say no to an organization video
I love your videos! They are so entertaining ❤️🥰
Hello I'm new here, can you do a introduction of your herd so we can see all your piggies and names etc
It looks so good!
Thank you! The piggies are enjoying their new space 😊
@@ThePigRoom that's great to hear! Can't wait to see more videos with this new layout!

do you wash the fleece that you use?
I don’t have a piggy but I’d love to see how you make a base 😊
What is the plastic stuff called that you get at Home Depot for the cage bottom called? Is it coroplast?
Yep! Coroplast 🤍
All fun and games till you hear the pig room at night😂❤
Wouldn't tiles or wooden floor easier to clean and more hygienic than carpet floor? I men in the room not the cages
Finally. Someone else who isn’t good at math. AND STILL MAKES MONEY.
My 3 pigs’ litter box is made with pine because I’m severely allergic to aspen is that a problem? Or does it even make a difference.
Pine is actually toxic to guinea pigs I would’ve recommended that
Did the vision bond break?
Hello, I wanted to see your Amazon wishlist to see if I could help in any wayy but it doesn't seem to be working o:
where do you get your pig mats from?
He makes them
Do they not use a litterbox?
winston is my fav
Watching this video as I’m wearing a shirt that says Vision on it😂❤️
Omg meant to be!! 😂
Hi does anyone know what the best size cage is for 2 guinea pigs? I'm moving house and I'm looking to upgrade my pigs from a pet store cage which is a good size but I want something a little bigger and nicer for them. I have 2 girls and 2 boys living in seperate cages :)
I would recommend a 7.5 square foot cage at minimum hope it helped
AUSTIN!! I’m dying to know if your grids are 12” or 14”, I just upgraded all
my piggies cages to 3 grids wide instead of 2, and I can hardly reach across to clean and I’m 5’9😭 I need to get a really tall step stool 😂 My grids are 14” and my cages are also 3 grids high so I’m wondering if that’s why it doesn’t look so hard to reach for you?
My grids are 12” 🙈 The 14” is very wide when doing 3 grid wide cages!
@@ThePigRoom That is why I’m on the struggle bus 😭😭 Too late now, I better find a good stool 🤣
