They lasted a solid 4 months, and it slowly diminished. Solid in my eyes... recently found another one works just as good and a lot easier to apply!!! DPC TD2
You spoke about how strong their cleaner was, needs a warning label...is it safe if spray gets on the body paint or on expensive wheels? Lastly, it would have been nice to see a road test for sling. They advertise NO sling. I have yet to fin a tire dressing for my show car and daily drivers that does not make a huge mess down the side of the vehicle. Thanks for the video review.
This dude is confusing people. Read the paperwork that comes with the product, they stress wheel prep, clean, clean again. The cleaner also says "do not mist cleaner", he does, and coughs. Says not to use the cleaner to maintain, you %100 use the same cleaner, just not as aggressively. Watch people who make shotty videos, or just read the directions. It also looks super oily and wet, but will be completely dry. Washed each tire four times, waited until dry, did 3 coats each of dressing. It looks amazing, ZERO sling. Its like a plyable clear coat for your tires.
I’m actually the one who gave the company feedback saying they should add a warning about misting the product the cleaner will definitely strip the coating thanks 👍
My “shotty” video was filmed with a very early version of this kit as you can tell by the labels so the products may have changed now but at the time of this recording the Dura Cleaner was incredibly strong, so if they updated the cleaner since it may be ok to use as maintenance, BUT at the time of recording my feedback was the truth
Awhile you have to really make sure the tires are perfectly clean in between the patterns and groves just to make sure you get the most out of your coating 👍
Yeah it seems they have already changed the kit I don’t believe it comes with the stripper but it’s not necessary because the degreaser is really strong enough to do all the stripping and cleaning 👍
This is from the Dura-Coating website regarding how to take care of the Dura-Dressing after you apply it: "Every 2-3 months on a daily driver we recommend a deep cleaning to remove oils and heavy debris from the road. Dura-Dressing stays flexible and soft what soft so over time its possible for it to need a good cleaning. Its actually very easy to do. Simply use Dura-Cleaner or our Heavy duty tire cleaner and a microfiber pad. Apply the cleaner to the microfiber pad and wipe it around the tire 3-4 times. You will see the suds start to turn brown removing oils and debris from the surface. Rinse thoroughly with the hose right away. Thats it. Your tires are now ready for a quick "touch up" coat of Dura-Dressing again. imply apply with a microfiber pad or foam applicator. You want use very much during this application as the dura-dressing base coat is still on the tires. Repeat this process every 2-3 months on a daily driver. " This info conflicts with the end of your video regarding how to take care of a treated tire fyi.
Yup and your gonna be burning thru your coating supply Cause you will be stripping it off and reapplying it which is cool as long as you are cool with that but if you just want to clean and not have to reapply you will follow how I said to do it 👍 I have update videos of this product if you check em out you can see my procedure and I never had to reapply
I got my kit the 1st of October and my tires are still amazing shiny after a month and 5 washes...
Nice I had to get new tires so I will be trying another coating soon but the dura dressing worked great and was on for 4 months 👍
How's it look after a year?

As long as you keep it wet never let it dry and it absolutely has no sling it drys and hardens its really good stuff

🤣 ok
How much time did you spend on step one per tire?

Got my kit about a month ago, never noticed till today, was going to apply but did not get step one Bummer
