Would be nice if you did half the tire with a new coat of the dura dressing to see the difference of how much it has faded. It should give a good perspective. Maybe on another vid.
you can open a second browser, load the video, pause 1 video before the new coating is applied, pause the second video after the new coating is applied then view side by side. #science
I spent $46 and 2 hours on my time on a saturday for a permanent tire shine on my car and that far outweighs spending any more time every week on cheap shine cans just to keep the shine on my tires upto date.
Have you put tire shine on top of this for an extra glossy shine? I have coated mine almost a year ago. Reapplied after about 6 months. I still have a very “clean” tire, it’s just not as glossy as I like.
This is by far the best dressing on the planet. 2 months and Ice sprayed tire cleaner on the tires every week for 2 months and the tires look the same as they did when I applied. Stop wasting cash buying tire dressing. Get a stool on wheels and take your time and clean the tires until you see white foam then apply. It's, worth the work. For me it's not work because I enjoy car detailing.
I curbed one of my coated tires. Is it as easy as just washing the tire again or do I need to go through the entire process of deep cleaning and reapplying the coats?
If your saying this video is fake? I don’t even like this company Marc is a douche burger but this product is very good and this was real so kick rocks if you think other wise 👍🧼🇺🇸
@@JamieTheCleaner I'm saying you're lying and this has been recently coated. Either that or you spent $70 on a tire shine product for a vehicle you never drive. We can clearly see the coating is still on the road surface of the tire. If you drove this vehicle even a mile, the coating would be worn off and we'd be seeing a distinct line where the sidewall meets the road surface of the tire.
Looks clean....but not super shiny, to me at least.....been 3 months.....and 3 months of clean tires is really good......but they are claiming an entire year.......i doubt it'll be on there for a year. Maybe you can review it again after a year.
You can touch up the shine with some water based shine. If the base layer is fading and the tire is getting pretty dirty it might be time to do a full clean with powerful cleaners and re--apply. Otherwise a touch up coat of the dressing can work, and if additional shine is needed, apply the a water based shiner to it
Aweful company. I recieved some polish from them that arrived with the lid half on and drained out. I contacted them and as soon as I said something the guy didnt like he totally lost his mind and thru a total childish temper tantrum. Then they proceeded to send me multiple emails to try and make me feel like a horrible human including calling me a clown and a moron numerous times. Never again
Terrible company to work with. Dura-Coating is run by some college kid that has a tantrum if you leave productive reviews on his product. Plus the stuff is garbage and works 50% of the time.
I agree. The dudes a total lunatic. Thows a temper tantrum and calls u names when u say something he doesnt like. He has no buisness in customer service. He did the same thing to a buddy of mine
Perfect time to wash the ride , my neighbors always look at me funny when I’m outside at 5am washing my car.
Don’t worry, I get the same thing. They can stare and talk all they want, I know I got the cleanest cars, trucks and bicycles lol😂😂
It's just Valspar Stone Sealer! That what is list on the patent.

Nice job, I’m about to put dura dressing on my 2020 F-150. I gotta clean the tires another 2 more times first

Yeah you can top it to change it’s look 👍 either with itself and a new coat or a water based dressing
Kinda defeats the purpose of the NO SLING DRESSING if you put tire shine on top of it THAT'S GOING TO SLING AND MAKE A CLEAN VEHICLE LOOK LIKE CRAP.

What’s the gun called? Pretty neat foam.
IK Foam 1.5 👍

Just clean the area and reapply shouldn’t have to do the whole tire again as long as you get to it fast before the tire starts to brown
3-month update, yet the tread of the tire is still coated? Or are we not supposed to notice that?

@@JamieTheCleaner all the guys in the shop are laughing right now. So, we want to know what a douche burger tastes like... your mom?
So it seems this lasts about as long as Lonestar. I know this has a longer cure time. I'm torn on which to get.

A company this big is not just going to call people clowns for no reason, you had to say something very bad to instigate this reaction

Why do a few people call it garbage but yet hundreds love it,,, very confusing to me
It’s called a WHEEL... not a rim.
“The more you know” 👋 🌈
That rim and tire has a nice shine.
Wheel and rim is the same thing! It's whatever you want to call it
