We need a “how many layers of Wish armor does it take to stop a bullet?”
I call it ANTIFA gear... 🤣
Too many : ) but this armor is not for bullets it's more like cosplay armor. So I'm not even trying to put it down it's just that it's made for cosplay and for that it's probably pretty cool. Maybe it'll stop laser beams or plasma rifles from the future.
When they test these vest, I think they simply toss a couple rounds at the vest, and when it doesn't go through, it passes the bulletproof test.
@@JourneyOnLife While I agree that these armors are meant for cosplay or airsoft the thing is they are adversied as being actual armr and they claim in the listings that they're actually bulletproof.
I Believe he's done that

For those not aware of this, the Perfect War Design claims the 'plates' are made out of neoprene, which is the material that wetsuits are made out of. Does back up their claims that it's waterproof though, not so much selling it as body armor.
Instructor Ken : Always re-stomp the groin
Matt : Always re-strike the groin, then shoot it with a .22
Scam
Yo master ken a G.O.A.T 😂
Gotta say "What caliber is it?" is a nice surprise in contrast to the expected "How much did this one cost?". It shows her priorities are in the right order.
Genius comment I gotta say.
I am laughing my butt off from that! 🤣🤣🤣
Gonna be funny when they pull an image of matt wearing that armor and use it on wish lol

Joules for anyone who’s curious or doesn’t know, is the amount of energy exerted when a force of newtons is applied over a displacement of meters. Most bullets in low caliber range like a .22 LR is 162 Joules, the kinetic energy that vest can take is 24 Joules. I died laughing when I heard that rating! 😂
Exactly ! Also a .22 short is around 70/85 joules :)
You seem relatively versed in physics and joules... So if a caliber as small as .22 can be as much as 100+ joules, would 24 joules be similar to a really hard punch?
@@GenericWhiteMale123 An average human punch is around 100+ Joules believe it or not, and professional boxers can hit past the amount of joules a .22 LR could. That’s why I laughed when I heard him say 24 Joules.
Joules is the wife of the guy wearing the vest. She attacks him constantly.
Ahhh, right in the fomolar artery!
The fact Mere hasn’t put a straight jacket on Matt is a miracle. I feel like most of his intros are just a video camera into his dreams

Truth think she the brain in relationship tbh
I love how you can see at 0:21 that the pooch is clearly saying "You know what he is doing."
I love these descriptions
24 joules of impact protection is very, very low.
For starters an Airsoft gun shoots 1-2 joules usually.
Airsoft snipers can go up to 5 joules.
Air rifles usually 10-50 joules.
Regular .22 lr pistol around 160ish joules
Regular 9mm pistol around 500-600 joules.
5.56 will be 1500+ joules.
7.62 NATO can easily do over 3450+ joules
Okay thank you, I thought that was freaking ridiculous. Yeah I thought 24 Jewels was something like somebody throwing a coin at you across the room, interesting to see that it's more like the impact of a steel BB out of an air rifle
A person could just wear ~65 of the vests and feel perfectly safe against an AR-15 assault.
You can punch through it
The manufacturer really looked at Joakim from Sabaton and said “PERFECT WAR DESIGN!!!!!” Then made it look terrible.
Bro fr, the wish version has too much plates and looks overly complicated
That's what I thought
dude it's literally just plastic with more segments, Joakim has 6 metal plates

Thanks Matt, I was preparing to head off to war and now I know exactly what to order off Wish before I head out. 🤣
19:08 - that sound of the 3 steel hits would make a good ring-tone, or something like the NBC chimes that you could play at the start & end of videos and endorsements.
The montage of entire cartridges coming in at low speed, impacting PERFECT WAR VEST just before a European soldier fires some anti-armor round at you... Freaking fantastic. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Gotta love when your cheap chinesium ordered from Wish or Amazon Tactical™ can't even stop a .22 lr.
don't forget the photoshopped revolver, and the most important part, THE ARMBAND
Love how the descriptions and instructions for these things are presented in Chinglish. Cracks me up every time!
Your animation had me crying, I haven’t laughed like that in a while😂
24 Joule is a light-ish air rifle, the vest might actually stop that :D
16:54 >Me every evening when I'm bored
So, on the aspect of the "24 joules kinetic energy" that hunting vest:
A .223 bullet, going at a speed of 3200 fps, delivers a force of approximately 950 joules of kinetic energy.
A 22lr going at subsonic speeds delivers 88 joules.
That vest literally advertises itself as *not* being bulletproof, with that low protection level. Hell, even a person throwing a goddamn shuriken would have enough force to penetrate it (37 joules), even IF it was stab proof....
That vest will only protect you from a person *throwing* a bullet at the vest...
So you're saying it's technically bullet proof, in certain circumstances
If you were to just wear 40 of the vests then you will be protected from that .223 assault.
So - it's bullet proof, when worn correctly.
A .68 paintball at 400 FPS has around 24J of energy :D
Obviously it's frangible so it's not penetrating much more than paper, but still gives some more perspective on how little 24J is.
@@samg1158 Only if someone threw the bullets at you, casing and all. Might stop a bullet fired from a slingshot.
@@skywardsoul1178 so it’s paintball gear. Got it.

Just in case you were wondering, the 24 Joules measurement that one of those terrible vests said it blocked, is the equivalent of approximately a 2kg (4.4lb) weight, just sitting on the vest. The average woman can grip harder than that. I can throw a nail with more force than that.

The "perfect war design" vest reminds me of a biker/life jacket. You should do how many life jackets to stop a bullet.
One of the best intros yet, good work lol
The descriptions are the best lol
The foam on the back of the glasses is called spoggles we use them in the Canadian oilfield to keep debris out of the eyes supposedly and to stop from fogging up which it does neither of
Those are great, keeps from getting sweaty smudges on the lenses too. I hate that but the foam gives a little stand-off distance that stops that from happening.
When they say bulletproof, they actually mean: nerf, gelsoft, splatball, paintball, airsoft.
Or full cartrige bullets.
I doupt the paintball 😋
Body armor for airsoft wimps. 🤦
Take the hit and hide better next time.
I dont think it can stop a 5 joule airsoft sniper.
I love how serious of a shot the camera had of you ripping his lower region apart with a 22 😂
gave me good feels when I saw how concerned and serious Matt was when he almost his the cameraman with a knife at 11:06
Mere probably absolutely loves when Matt gets a new gun, since this channel probably makes a pretty penny, and that is driven by more and different guns.
Maybe not loves it matt has alot, alot, of them. But i think she understands it as its part of his job.
She knows what brings in the money, so she doesn't care
She Love Him. Appreciates Him. Indulges him.
She has him wrapped around her ring finger knowing he Loves her and their family.
The guns are an investment, they help make money on the channel but also retain a value on their own and can be sold sometimes for more money if needed. I would be more worried about the price of some of the targets objects he shoots.
Not to mention a couple mansions.
4:16
24 joules is 17.7 ft lbs
A 38 gr .22 LR has about 135 ft lbs, over 7 and a half times the "protection level" of the vest.
they were pretty honest with that😅
