40,000 subscribers video: 41* sub-6 solves

*Originally I was planning to do 40, but by the time I starting filming for this video, I had 41k, so I filmed 41 instead.
Thanks again for subscribing, everyone watching this video - I know that I don't come out with content too often, and the production could be better, but hopefully you enjoy my videos nonetheless!

Absolutely incredible Felix :) It never ceases to astonish me that anyone can even solve one in less than 6 seconds, but to solve it 41 times, and have 5 or so under the current world record, is incredible. Great video :)

My only sub6s have been PLL skips, the difference between sub10 and sub7 is incredible.

It looks like it, but I think the chances are so low it's more likely VLS or RLS.

Yep essentially a forced OLL skip, then a PLL skip too.
However he could of new a case to skip OLL, but also got a PLL skip :)

This is pretty amazing. To be honest I would like to see some more videos fro you, but just because they're so amazing and entertaining :)
It scares me that you can do this in four hours of filming.. It takes me around that long to get a sub 6.

Looks like you got more sub-6s on the day you wore the blue shirt than the day you wore the orange shirt.
Lots and lots of training. Hope you keep getting better. Competition is quite fierce these days. You'll probably keep getting better until your early 20s and then plateau into your late 20s. Gray brain matter peaks at around 20 (white matter around 40).
If anyone's interested, 3:52 is the point he starts solving faster than the OWR.
I like to think as Felik's was walking off at the end he was thinking, "Time to go get back my fuggin record."
Holy crap, ur PLLs are faster then my PLL skips. I couldn't count very well, but I think ur average tps would be about 10 or 11

***** What do you get when you have the cube in ur hands ??
Since you have to stop the timer with both hands in competitions, it sort of cuts your times. Besides, Feliks doesn't get sub 6 every solve, and at a competition, you only have 5 per round. Basically you have an average of 10 or 15 solves and then you're done.

Feliks, have you ever considered changing up your PLLs? I know your work for you, but it seems like a bunch of other people have gotten faster at them with a bunch of different alternative algorithms. Great video by the way, I love it! :D

Hey Feliks, was the cube Aolong v1 or v2 cause it seems like there is no corner twist in any of that solves at all.. like man, the tps you have are so much more faster than mine and I tend to have 2-3 corner twist in like 10 solves

I would like to point out that on the solve at 1:47, he was done F2L at 2.7. Last layer skip would have made it sub 3

Starting at 3:30, Feliks has 5 red cross solves in a row. Kind of a lot. And it's total chance. The 5 solves weren't consecutive. They were edited together.

How many times 40 sub6 takes you ? About an hour maybe ? Or 2/3 days ? :) So interesting love the last one :D
about 3 or 4 hours of filming, one session in the afternoon and one in the evening.
That's asking a lot. His pb is 3.81 And he had a screenshot of it on facebook. It's a lot of space and time to record every time solve you do.
