Since you were sharing quite a lot of tips I can as well share tips I learned on my own. Since this video was filmed on the bug front I shall share some bot front tips, regarding the objectives which many people struggle with. The main tip is that all objectives can be destroyed without the need of a hellbomb in certain circumstances. That includes the gun ship fabricator as well as the stratagem jammer (without turning it off) #1 the rouge research station can be destroyed using the orbital precision strike, eagle 500kg bomb, 380mm orbital barrage (it's basically a barrage of precision strikes), high-yield explosive and the mini nuke. #2 both the mortar emplacament and the anti-air emplacement can be destroyed with most eagles, orbitals and even support weapon. #3 the detector tower can be destroyed using the orbital precision strike, the orbital laser, eagle 500kg bomb, high-yield explosive and the mini nuke. Just aim the stratagem beacon near the foundation of the tower (it will not send a drop ship unless it sees a player, you could drop a whole Armageddon of 380mm barrages and it will not care unless it sees a player). #4 the stratagem jammer can be destroyed in 3 ways without the need of disabling it. The first and most common way is that sometimes a fabricator spawns close enough to the jammer so that if you destroy that fabricator, it's explosion will destroy the jammer as well, so look out for those. The 2 other ways include SEAF artillery. Both mini nuke and the high-yield explosive are able to destroy the stratagem jammer (I only checked it using high-yield but since a mini nuke is basically a hellbomb it should do the trick). #5 there are only 2 ways (technicaly 3 ways) I know of to destroy the gun ship fabricator. The first way is using a hellbomb and the other is using a mininuke (I did it myself once). My friend also told me about a 3rd possible(?) way in which you destroy a gun ship while it's coming out of the fabricator in a way that it will make it fall inside the fabricator and destroy it. Take it with a grain of salt though. I guess a useful tip about the gun ships would be to make sure to throw the hellbomb in between the fabricators if more than 1 spawn since the explosion radius for hellbombs is rather small. Hope that helps spreading some democracy

Yeah it's awesome! With the 5% cooldown reduction on stratagems + the 10% cooldown reduction on Eagles when done manually, you get your Eagles back in 100 seconds apparently. Which is absolutely mental. So if you're an Eagle fan, this is the set for you!

The 10% less reload module is noticeable on each reload tbh, but especially on tragically long ones like the HMG. It actually feels quite a bit faster. Seeing lvl 40+ stand still in the heat off battle trying to reinforce me is always kinda funny. Have they not realized that this is incredibly awkward? I usually run grenade armor. I think it's the juggernaut one. Medium armor, grey color. It just looks so cool and extra nades are very handy. Mostly on bugs though. On bots you need less nades. Something about life advice combined with high lvl gameplay is kinda nice. I subbed
Exactly, 10% is massive. In medicine, these percentages are considered high! I think people defending positions have a different action fantasy, which is workable if you have S-tier aim and are well equipped. But.. it's definitely not optimal haha. amazing video and gameplay. I would love to see a sentry-only terminid run if you're planning on making more content like this in the future. Personally, I use the anti-tank aswell as the 2 machine gun sentries. The 2 synergies ive found are stun grenades and explosive primaries. Stuns can tank your sentries, allow more aggressive placements, and keep bugs in their ideal range. Explosive primaries offer cc, burst dmg and durable dmg letting you clear mediums, influence the area the sentries are controlling and take down problematic charger/cracked bile titans in a pinch. each sentry has its own role and synergy with the others often providing significantly more value together than there combined single value. I enjoy a more static playstyle, preferring to hold ground and use area control to wipe threats. Dont know how well it would work solo without team anti tank but the machine gun sentry makes a pretty good precision strike.

I think it's good, people are calling it a Spear-light which I think is pretty accurate. I would argue it's better though. Since you don't have to reload the Commando and you also have a backpack slot open. I wrote down your build request, thank you!

Extremely blocky, like the compression was ultra high or bitrate was super low. Watched using the 1440p preset. Perhaps it’s just a matter of the map (dark, red) + YT compression. Anyways - though You should be aware, as it’s the only thing which I can complain about - everything else is spot on!

@@PhacilGaming Any tips for Bile/Nursing Spewers? Those are probably the biggest issue for me, cuz I run Breaker Incen and Flamethrower, and spewers take too long to kill from range with the Breaker, and when you use the Flamethrower you just get spew’d on. For me right now, I feel like Bugs are harder than bots, mainly because of Bug Breaches upon Bug Breaches upon Bug Breaches. Bugs are harder to run from and stealth than Bots, and before I can kill all the Bugs from the Breach they just call a new one.
If you enjoy the pyro guns then probably bring Impact Grenades. Alternatively the Eagle Clusterbombs decimate Spewers. I would say the Impact Grenades are a solid solution to them though! 😊
Yes, I use the arrow keys. So I let go of my mouse to do the inputs with my right hand. I know that's very uncomfortable for some though, I've heard of an alternative: you rebind the up and down inputs to your mouse wheel. That does make it so you can only sprint forward and back but it is an option. It might be good to experiment if you don't like either of these choices though. Good luck have fun! 😃

I definitely didn't bother too much with them this run though, normally I spend more time collecting but I was content with the bit I had. So definitely collect them until you have all your ship modules!

Yeah it's awesome! With the 5% cooldown reduction on stratagems + the 10% cooldown reduction on Eagles when done manually, you get your Eagles back in 100 seconds apparently. Which is absolutely mental. So if you're an Eagle fan, this is the set for you!

Hey dude I found you this morning through this video and your content is exceptional in that you aren't shouting at me about this war bond or that update ( having only watched 2 of your videos though this being the 1st and the 2nd is playing on my TV now about starter load out, I didn't want to spam the comments there though. I'll consider making Warbond and Update / News videos in the future. It kind of goes against my vision of doing your best to just chill, have fun and live in the present. I get the need for speculation, but truthfully it's all up for debate until we field-test things. So I'd rather skip the fantasizing and go straight to the having fun part. You're not the first to request it though so I'll see if I can make content in that context that everyone can enjoy 😇👍
The 10% less reload module is noticeable on each reload tbh, but especially on tragically long ones like the HMG. It actually feels quite a bit faster.
Seeing lvl 40+ stand still in the heat off battle trying to reinforce me is always kinda funny. Have they not realized that this is incredibly awkward?
I usually run grenade armor. I think it's the juggernaut one. Medium armor, grey color. It just looks so cool and extra nades are very handy. Mostly on bugs though. On bots you need less nades.

I think people defending positions have a different action fantasy, which is workable if you have S-tier aim and are well equipped. But.. it's definitely not optimal haha.
The extra grenades are also my go-to for bugs! 😃

a similar tip to rebinding stratagem keys for pc players is to disable or rebind the steam overlay macro so you can sprint with your map open

amazing video and gameplay. I would love to see a sentry-only terminid run if you're planning on making more content like this in the future. Personally, I use the anti-tank aswell as the 2 machine gun sentries. The 2 synergies ive found are stun grenades and explosive primaries. Stuns can tank your sentries, allow more aggressive placements, and keep bugs in their ideal range. Explosive primaries offer cc, burst dmg and durable dmg letting you clear mediums, influence the area the sentries are controlling and take down problematic charger/cracked bile titans in a pinch. each sentry has its own role and synergy with the others often providing significantly more value together than there combined single value. I enjoy a more static playstyle, preferring to hold ground and use area control to wipe threats. Dont know how well it would work solo without team anti tank but the machine gun sentry makes a pretty good precision strike.

Hell yeah! I try avoiding a bit though since I have a Supplypack only run (th-cam.com/video/N_Rp20awTSk/w-d-xo.html). It would definitely have been the better choice though, but it was fun running the Rover since I rarely play with it. Thank you for the input!
That's a very interesting run. If I would try this there were 3 Bile Titans and 5 Chargers 10 seconds after I was landing on the Planet 😂
Thanks! Haha fair enough. Gotta get a little bit lucky sometimes also, though to be fair normally when there's so many Titans and Chargers there's usually alot less Hunters and small bugs. I believe it's mostly planet dependant. Not confident though!
hey what do you think of the new commando strategem? would love to see a run using only rockets/anti tank, so something like EAT, Commando, Quasar, and Rocket Sentry. Keep up the good work man.
I think it's good, people are calling it a Spear-light which I think is pretty accurate. I would argue it's better though. Since you don't have to reload the Commando and you also have a backpack slot open. I wrote down your build request, thank you!

Not sure if it helps… but the video quality was absolute crap for some reason. Extremely blocky, like the compression was ultra high or bitrate was super low. Watched using the 1440p preset. Perhaps it’s just a matter of the map (dark, red) + YT compression. Anyways - though You should be aware, as it’s the only thing which I can complain about - everything else is spot on!

Yeah I've been informed, I'm not sure wether it's my video editor or TH-cam compressing the file. I'm looking up information on it which seems to imply it's TH-cam, but I prefer to focus on what I can do. So I changed quite some settings and hopefully the next video will be better. Nice video, anyway! Lots of good tips in this video, especially the Charger one (hug the rocks). That’s gonna help a lot when I shoot for the Solo Bug Helldive Op. Real life tips too, like the one about focusing on what you CAN do instead of what you can’t.

@@PhacilGaming Any tips for Bile/Nursing Spewers? Those are probably the biggest issue for me, cuz I run Breaker Incen and Flamethrower, and spewers take too long to kill from range with the Breaker, and when you use the Flamethrower you just get spew’d on.
For me right now, I feel like Bugs are harder than bots, mainly because of Bug Breaches upon Bug Breaches upon Bug Breaches. Bugs are harder to run from and stealth than Bots, and before I can kill all the Bugs from the Breach they just call a new one.
If you enjoy the pyro guns then probably bring Impact Grenades. Alternatively the Eagle Clusterbombs decimate Spewers. I would say the Impact Grenades are a solid solution to them though! 😊
What keybinds specifically do you use to deploy stragems while still moving?
Bind them to the arrow keys. Then you can still WASD while using your mouse hand to do the stratgem
Yes, I use the arrow keys. So I let go of my mouse to do the inputs with my right hand. I know that's very uncomfortable for some though, I've heard of an alternative: you rebind the up and down inputs to your mouse wheel. That does make it so you can only sprint forward and back but it is an option. It might be good to experiment if you don't like either of these choices though. Good luck have fun! 😃

How do you prevent anyone from joining you, so you stay solo? Or is this even a thing?
It's a setting, you can toggle it between: "public", "friends only" or "invite only". The last one prevents people from joining completely ofcourse.

@@ethanrulez77 I think samples are very important since your ship modules are permanent power increases. I definitely didn't bother too much with them this run though, normally I spend more time collecting but I was content with the bit I had. So definitely collect them until you have all your ship modules!
