I do Uber eats with my mom just watching this brings me so much excitement because when I am with my mom and I hear that noise I am happy especially because my mom is on some hard times with money
Great video, the editing and sound effects is fantastic (the death of the pull cart and the music was so classic). Looking forward to the next one to find out where you are next.
Thank You! For this video because I live downtown Phoenix and it’s hit and miss. I actually have to go to Tempe tomorrow so due to this video I might Dash in Mesa first. I used to live in Mesa and nothing is walking distance too much so I can see why it’s better that way.
I was really scared to be multi app-ing and now that I watched this, I feel better that I may have more opportunities to make more this way. Thanks for your video!
Wanted to provide an update. I have made more multi-apping. A literal game changer. Still trying to figure out timing and areas to make a decent amount of money.
Shid I done did it a few times Uber Eats Spark and Definitely Amazon Flex where they love to send you in those rural country backside “Wrong Turn” type of areas just cancel and hit the felt unsafe area option
Haha right I live out here in Montana and I have to go to farms and ranches that look like this long scary roads but then you see the big beautiful houses. Plus they always seem to be really great tippers
Holy moly you have a lot of good orders over there! Im lucky to have a couple hours getting orders like that the entire day, otherwise good order are few and far between
New Years eve delivery is a nightmare in super busy areas. I once did an Uber Eats pick up at the ONLY Chinese restaurant that was open in the area. 40+ drivers all taking up space in the restaurant and the kitchen couldn't keep up. People waiting for ANY order to come order took after an hour. Made the easy choice to walk away. It was too crazy. Keep up the hustle Trevor!
@@Icebearhaswares Toronto Canada. 100% facts. All Uber support could do for us was give us $5 at most despite waiting for so long. I had to apologize to the customer and move on. I ended up no working the rest of the night because of the hassle.
My typical doordash orders are double orders one person tips and one doesnt. Both are apartments but when you get there its at a mall and the other is at a hotel. No big meals, just sandwiches and dairy queen. 13 miles for $7.00 followed by no orders for 30 minutes lol. My first week I made $35 an hour avg and its been all downhill from there
I'd love to see a video on renting a car vs car payments to do deliveries. Sure, renting is expensive, but so is paying for car payments, insurance, maintenance, major repairs, and depreciation. In the end, do all those costs come close to the total of a rental car? And, if the rental car breaks down, they just give you another one. You can keep working instead of waiting on car parts and repairs.
Dont the rental companies say not to use their vehicles for other businesses? That is a large liability on the rental company to be responsible for a vehicles being used outside of parameters.
@justinharris8833 $900 per month is cheaper than the cost in Metro Atlanta Georgia area. The cheapest I've found was $1200. I believe you're right though. Renting is too expensive.
I’ve tried renting. It’s worth it if you don’t have a car, or if you are doing it full time during peak hours in the right area. You gotta be careful though. Hertz likes to charge you crazy prices for tolls or other fees. I really liked when i had the electric car. Was cheap to charge and you got an extra dollar for it, so it paid for itself.
@AaronCross760 great idea but what about a picture and what do you say to the customer that's been waiting for that order that the previous driver stole.....it all ends in deactivation
It feels like the dinner rush shifted to 6-8 pm instead of 5-9 and even then there are no good orders. Reporting from Boston it’s insanely dead and so over.
As someone who DoorDash'd for a bit, I remember prime time being 8-9:30 am, 10:30-12:15pm, and 4:30-7pm. That being said, my highest pay was like, $15, lot of the orders I grabbed were between $3.50 and $9. I only really did it for side cash, I wish I could have made even half your haul for the day.
@@ededdneddy7955 its not fake, all depends on your market area. I DD and I make between 18-24/hr average in Minnesota. When it snows or even rains it's up to $28 cause of bad weather.
Wow that’s terrible I had my first day on DD last week and made $26 an hour. If you only made $16 an hour then what’s the point of even doing DD? Too much wear on your car
That just happens to diamonds. I’ve been doing Uber eats for a couple days and definitely it’s the worst for a beginner, they send you 5/10 mile deliveries for $4 like wtf.
Fyi if you for example get a $25 order for whatever restaurant. If you get there and it’s because someone has already taken it. See how much the food cost. If it’s like $1-15 ish dollars. You could think about just buying a new order that’s exactly the same then just deliver it and you’ll get your money back plus you’ll also get the pay.
I had a $33 order once. The order got stolen. But the order total at the restaurant was only like $11. And it was 3 miles away. So I paid the $11 for them to remake an exact order and put the ubereats stickers on it and all that. Then still got that paid back to me. Plus the $22 for a 3 mile order, the extra tip was a plus too.
I didnt get the Outback order? How can you pick up someone else's order without any order number or info? What about the customer who paid via credit card? Do they get reimbursed? Sorry Im nit an American do thats why confused but your delivery systems
i was told they actually lose money when sending an order to dd so they prefer not to unless the driver is out for another delivery or they don’t have enough etc…but also recently heard some locations will be going all 3rd party
You made 1.5k but how much did you spend on gas for the week? With 800 miles driven you probably had to fill up your tank at least 3 times. So if I had to guess your takeaway was closer to 1.4k.
A lot of people forget but when you work for doordash you get a 1099 form so even though he's making 23/hour he ends up keeping more of it than if you worked another job that did 23/hour.
Ummm apples to apples with a regular job.... after expenses assuming your costs are at least 75c/mile between fuel and car wear and tear...you are really only making $16/hour if you subtract 500 or so from your 1500+ total. Not taking into accounttaxes since you would have that with a regular job too. Which is terrible considering if you worked that many hours in a week at a day job you would get OT too.
I got a $16 Dunkin at like 6 pm on a Sunday. Of course they were all out of donuts at that time. I got the $3 too. I was like - of course - you don’t have it.
I do my deliverys in gilbert and Chandler so is scott better I can only make like 100 bux or or more a day and I'm sure today is going to be slow on a Monday 😮💨
For the amount of hours worked, that hourly rate doesn’t seem that good considering that a traditional job would be paying overtime and maybe even double time after 40+ hours. Plus your gas and wear and tear on the car.
Great work, one thing that confused me just because when things I read and hear don't match up, but towards the end of the video you have big green text that shows how much you made, how much you made per hour, and what you described as dollars per mile. I got confused because the $1.96 $/mile ratio you talked about was depicted as "$1.96 /HR". I don't know if it was a typo or not but I hope this helps you make better content that is more easily digestible!
I live in the same exact spot as your old market and I cant make nearly as much as you do on DD. are you going online on multiple platforms? any tips would be apricated.
Man, you must be lucky as hell cuz When I was doing uber eats a few months ago, Most of the tips were only like 3 to 4 bucks. You have to chill at a parking lot and wait for half an hour just to get one of them for 8 bucks for a 15 mile drive🤣😭

Real question: why do people use third party for Pizza Hut? Don’t they have drivers?
Its easier for pizza hit to allocate there delivery services as they dont have to pay for driver insurance and benefits. Or thats my guess
