It's always a great day when I wake up and find a new delivery video from you. Nothing beats coffee and British good delivery for a good morning :D
Glad I can entertain! Thanks for the kind words, means a lot 🙌
Watched all you videos and you’ve convinced me to take the leap to start delivery driving. I’ve been struggling for money and have the spare time which I’m wasting at the moment. Just going through the Uber eats process now. Legend
Having uber is fantastic because you can just earn money with it suites you, I love do uber in my small town
Hey mate, I'm Tauntom based and actually started watching your channel because I recognised the area! Now a regular watcher, subscriber, and enjoying the insight into the gig / delivery world. Thanks for the video
Bridgwater is probably a good middle ground between Taunton and Wellington, deceptively high amount of restaurants and not too populated either.
Yup, Bridgwater is on the list for a video! Done some deliveries there before and it was pretty decent.
there's some truth in what you say, I work in Sheffield and occasionally deliver to a few smaller villages outside the city. When you get there you often find yourself picking up multiple orders from supermarkets, Chinese restaurants as there are no other drivers in the area. I reckon if you just stayed in that village you could probably do pretty well.
Thank you for another video. Enjoyed it a lot, keep them coming! ;)
Just discovered your channel via your Weston video ( the one with the unfortunate parking ticket) 😬 I am loving your content so far keep up the great work! You say you’re interested in delivering in different places well I recommend you try where I’m based which is Cheltenham 😃
I work for Asdas home delivery. The click and collect can sometimes be delayed when it’s super busy during the times from2:30-4pm. Depends on the days. Keep it up bro 👍😎
This isn’t for home delivery it’s for Uber orders which Asda staff have to go do in the shop
Have a happy first Fathers Day
haha 7:31 I really love the British weather. As always, great video! And best of luck in the Euro Cup final. Greetings from Argentina!
Thank you! Hahaha I was hoping we might pull something out the bag but it just wasn't to be, Spain were much better all tournament so gratz to them.
I am from European Union ( Romania ) and I delivered in a big city from my country. If you miss the sunny wheather, WELCOME in my country, we have a plenty sunny days. In Great Britain i heard you have no tomany sunny days 🙋🏻♂️
The problem with delivering in another small town is that they’re always either hit or miss and you can’t just go home whenever you want if it’s not busy
Hi how are you? I’m loving the 25-30+ minute vids please keep them coming to my house in Glasgow where I’ve started watching you today I saw your channel on London eats vids 👌
Another great video man!
This is a good idea but then other drivers/riders catch on and before you know it’s saturated 😅 I didn't know Uber had started paying for the distance to pick ups now, that was always my gripe...
There will be 20 indians tmrw in that town ,delivering 🤨😐😂
Yh they are destroying delivery work specifically in London it's unbearable now.
Late to the show on this one but a really enjoyable watch! Great to see friendly staff!
I left Asda about a month ago and they don’t hire extra staff to deal with Uber orders so the normal staff have to be called on from their other work to come and do the Uber orders and when someone orders 60 odd items it takes a while to go round the shop and get everything. Also you have to manually input if an item is out of stock and then go find the substitute. The tablet used for Uber orders also doesn’t put similar items together in the list it does it by offers and deals so you’ll be going back and forth all over the shop
Thanks for this video. I'm applying for a Uber Delivery Driver. Which car insurance do you use?
Just seen that London eats mentioned you in his video today!
Yea I saw it earlier on! The guy is a legend shouting out new creators in the space 🙌🏻 felt a bit starstruck hahaha he’s the OG of gig work content and a big reason I started my own channel
Not anywhere near from your neck of the woods, Arizona to be exact, but to provide some info related to that other subscriber, I've noticed even here, TH-cam lately does a really good job of throwing in channels akin to where users are located. Especially growing ones.
Love your videos
Have you ever considered buying a van and doing courier work? I'm a same day courier myself and enjoy it a lot.
Congrats mate on your first father's day 🎉
Hi mate...enjoy watching your video..im from Malaysia..also do delivery food before using Grab Apps & Lalamove apps here..but in my country always bad traffic jem and no space parking lot to stop by pickup order from store..ohh so scary..hahahah
I live in Bognor Regis 😅
Glad to hear a mention!
Hello . please tell me where I can buy a insurance for work in food delivery and Amazon
Uber Eats not only need to throw out their app and start fresh but bin their entire system and build something else, starting with their support which is absolutely despicable!
I've been having my UE account on hold for about a month because of that recent Sterling check again, due to the fact that the name provided by Uber to Sterling didn't match my full legal name from my documents. So the check came back as "UNPERFORMABLE". STERLING can't do anything about it, Uber needs to fix it. I wrote numerous times to support and I'm literally being gaslit or lied to my face. 😡🤦🏻 And being sent copy-paste messages like I'm talking to robots! 😐😐😐
Anyway... Pardon my rant! 😁
Great shift and video! 🙏🏻
It is also super cold in Denmark
Hi there great videos could you tell me what insurance you use please for the car many thanks
Great job . From SAVANNAH GA USA
Atlanta here!
I would try using Ubers navigation software, it’s not terrible and at least you can see customers dropped pins
You could be on to something though. The other day I got a Amazon Morrison's block that took me nearly all the way to exmouth. When I turned on Uber I got sent loads of requests all at once... So maybe smaller towns are a bit understaffed
My cousin Brother works delivery food driver in dover and i gotta tell u man he has a wife with no children and he’s making good money bro
Great video Sir
Do you find the magnetic charger mount works well? Can you use it without a case? I can't use a cord for my phone
I don’t use the charging as it’s too slow but I love it as just a mount! Super easy to slap on with one hand and go. It’s MagSafe so will work on iPhones with no case. I have a MagSafe case on mine so works just as well, can get MagSafe cases for any model these days 🙌🏻
hahaha I always text the customer to say im on my way as in the past when I couldnt find peoples houses and I've rang them they tend to not answer, since it shows up as no caller ID, so they're more likely to answer if I text them beforehand
Hi mate great vid.. can i ask what camera u are using? Tia
Thank you! GoPro Hero 11 on the hat cam in the car, Hero 12 on chest.
Wellington is a lovely little town. Used to be a good Chinese there which I would drive from my home (in Uffculme at the time) to. Miss Millies was my favorite growing up in Weston (well Banwell). We would all park up opposite there (before Tesco's got built) after a night clubbing and get our chicken on. I always loved it. Getting recognised as a small TH-camr is weird, the first time it happened to me was in Brunei. I at first thought someone was trying to con me. What did the guy ask at 12:10 sounded like "is there a pip"?
Hi fellow Tauntonian 👍🏼 when you place yr GoPro 11 on yr baseball cap what clip do you use? I noticed it hangs down whereas I have a cap 🧢 with a dedicated clip above the cap rim, bit high in my car 🚗 though.
I use a hat clip but I clip it on upside down so the camera is touching my forehead - keeps the POV eye level!
@@autohustles thanks mate I’ll 3D print one ☝️
Where did you get your delivery bag from (the unbranded one)
Do you have a link to the the bag you use? cheers!
Wow some of those mcdonald deliveries paid well. Dont think ive ever had one over £5.50
Keep up the great content young man. 😊
Thank you! And especially thank you for calling me young! That's a great compliment to receive in my 30s 🤣
I deliver in Trowbridge it would be epic to meet you in Trowbridge.
Amazon Flex vs Food delivery? Which one is best in overall aspects?
Amazon Flex on average pays a higher wage - but it’s probably slightly more demanding work in general, more taxing on your car, and they limit you to 24 hours a week of work. Food delivery is fully flexible, work as much as you want, no booking blocks just log in and out as you please. They both have benefits and I’d always recommend having both options 🙌🏻
🎉 happy fathers day, all the best 👍 to you and your family ❤😊
I've been locked out of my uber eats account for 2 weeks now, online support is useless and can't speak to anyone on the phone, very frustrating, all of my documents are in order, was in the middle of a shift and they locked me out
Actually didn’t know you could claim the extra mileage for wrong address. Will keep an eye out for that in the future 👌
Yea it's always worked for me! Got an extra £3.50 the other day on a £4 job, because of a wrong address.
hey it’s charlie from taunton asda we’ve spoke before and if you want me to let you know a little bit of information about the uber pickups and everything at taunton i’m happy to let you know
Yes mate that would be great, for the record you’re one of the best I’ve dealt with so it’s no reflection on you! IG me @autohustles
Surely if they are rerouting they should add pay?
Brother how you pay for nearly 3 hours 1.20 insurance?
Try Witham as it is small town as well.
Big up the subscriber 👍
Btw... Said you wanna travel within the southwest. Wanna give Bournemouth a try? 😛 Or more like the whole Poole-Bournemouth-Christchurch area.
If you do, prepare to be annoyed by a lot of restaurants! 🤪🤣
gotta love welly
Not a bad lil town!
That's more then I make in Nuneaton
Happy Father’s Day!!
I've been doing Uber Eats FT for about a year now, and never given other apps much thought, have I been missing out? 🤣
Can you deliver in any town ?
Ah uber now pay for transit to the restaurant aswell?
Nah bro I'm watching from Somalia your video is interesting to watch
Hi could you do 9 to 5 in wellington one day
One time I ordered a subway and got given a child McDonald’s 😐🤣🤣
always wonder if its cost effective delivering by car due to wear and tear vs scooter/electric/bike
Its probably cheaper by scooter/bike but then you're limited by the orders you can take, I once ordered like £40 of groceries from the Co-op on Uber Eats and 3 riders cancelled on me due to the order being too big for their scooter, now I'm not sure if they get credited back for still turning up but it must be annoying for them.
@@BillyBartell-zz8dz in the US, just by delivering pizza in more liberal urban/richer areas, you'll break over $50k easy just by delivering/tipping; where driving by car is viable. The tipping system in europe is bit wonky as its not required or expected, if you are lucky to get tips; i do see a lot of electric biking/scooting deliveries in the cities making normal amounts
It's not - a moped is almost certainly better. But the comfort of a car is undeniable if doing this job a lot.
Please can you come to Gloucester or Cheltenham or Stroud?
Good shouts! I'm from Bristol and used to visit Gloucester and Cheltenham a lot, would love to deliver there, I'll add those to the list!
apparently ubereats are going to start making riders pick and pack groceries soon
You probably won't but could you come to my town and try Huntingdon
Country????
Nice looking town.
No night shift
Let me know if you come to Exeter
so funny about introduce your self :D
m8 uber app is okay just the silly things
the worst app is just eat never works so many bags night mere
Hi Sir
Basildon
Basildon is a large town, not a small place
Way further? Farther.
It's not the 1800s. Language evolves.
I watch all your videos mate im also a delivery driver doing full time delivery and i got to tell you mate i love watching your videos but unfortunately what you said about delivering cold food its very rude and very off-putting i have a standard wich is i only deliver hot food i never accept double orders that are 5 mins away from eachother and if i get to the restaurant and order is not ready max 2 mins im cancelling and do only one because in this job customer comes first when thats not the priority change job simple i know customers are rude sometimes but they buy the food wich is expensive and delivering cold food and then blame it on the apps or the algorithm nahhh mate only the driver to blame .
21:20 - the most stupid thing i've heard, without the customer there is no ubereats, justeats, deliveroo. And without them guess what you aint making shit
Tell that to the guys with 3 accounts multiapping, going to 3 different stops when they should be coming to you, smoking a cigarette outside with an order in their hands letting it go cold before they get in their car, squashing food into tiny thermal bags (if they even have one) - I don’t think I’m the problem mate taking doubles legitimately on one app and providing good decent service.
@@autohustles not saying your the worst by any means. I'm sure there's people who do that but all I'm saying is I don't agree with what you said. Yeah I get it's money for you. We all wanna make money but this whole train the algorithm thing I think is nonsense. I don't think having a few people complain about cold food is gonna somehow magically make the app better but maybe I'm wrong. All I know is ordering food and it's cold when it's turns up is a joke and pisses me off
Stay in London and work. It’s not worth going to Ukraine and dying for Zelenskyy. Because Africans will be more than happy to replace you and take your job in London.
The first video I've watched from you, and it will be the last. Delivery drivers like you who don't give a toss if the customers receive cold food are the worst, you're not 'training the app', you're the delivery problem. The reason I admire great TH-cam channels like London Eats and London Hustle is because they're all about the customer getting the best possible service and hot food.
I do give a toss, like I said, I'll reject a second order when it starts taking ages, because I do sympathise with customers. I order food myself on these apps. But if we don't train these apps' algorithms to stop giving unreasonable double orders, they'll never stop. And there are plenty of drivers out there who will never care about anything but the money. Watch any of my other videos and you'll see I try my best to provide really good service whilst also earning the best cash I can. Hope you'll consider watching again in the future.
Actually your wrong in sense of saying he isn’t training the algorithm. I deliver for Tesco. Not exactly the same. However the way we use our devices is how the algorithm learns. For example. New build houses. At first the devices can’t give us an accurate eta meaning the system give us 10 mins to get there when it actually takes 20mins. So will make us late at first. So after many drivers pressing start route an end route it eventually picks up how long it takes an adjusts the time allowed for that delivery. So there is an algorithm. An same with complains. So if multiple customers complain about a certain item it picks up the trend an that data goes to head office to resolve an issue.
awesome video auto hutsles
