The basketball carnival game usually has bent rims making it more difficult to make a shot. I remember giving the game operator some lip about the bent rims at least a decade ago at the OC fair. Noticed they use the prizes to block the side view of the rims now. haha. Nice work Chris!!

I worked in the carnival section. The busy time is from about 6:30-10:30. So if you want to skip the lines and packed craziness I'd go early.

I went to the OC fair in 2019 with my sister, my great niece ( her granddaughter) and one of her friends. We had a good time. Only time I've ever been. Will you consider doing a video on the L.A. Country Fair when it opens in the fall in Pomona

@@YellowProductions Oh they changed it , only went to.it once back in 2013 with family. A cousin who worked for the City of LA got tickets and invited my mom and I. It was a fun outing. Had a Sonoran hot dog for the first time @ the OC Fair , it was good.

How are these rides safe if they are being assembled and repaired temporarily rather than year round? Also, does it make more sense for the spend for a couple or family to go to a second or third rate theme park value wise like universal studios, Magic Mountain, Lego Land, Great Wolf Lodge, Circus Circus LV or Wild Rivers? Assuming Disneyland and Cali Adventure is way more expensive and time consuming and not even worth comparing without a comp entry or local annual pass. From a price and convenience perspective I would think you would want more shade and AC access than the fair has. It seems like it would be exhausting walking on concrete and then waiting in lines and going on rides in the sun. Also the food looks like it would be tough to eat for anyone that doesn’t want fried / sugar. I am curious if there were any gluten free or other options. Also if you tried the rules on bringing your own sealed water and food and if it actually was allowed and if they are doing proper metal detection and bag searches. I would hope so!! ❤️❤️❤️ Thanks for the great content I am a big fan and so is my Dad!
Hi Papeeshka. We did indeed bring our own sealed water and it was allowed. About the ride safety.. I'm definitely not the expert there. Cost wise. We usually just go on one or 2 rides. But its not really about cost for us as much as it is tradition

...I've never been, but OC Fair looks fun APART from clown! There are 3 things I REALLY don't like in life... rude people, cancelled flights and clowns! I have been terrified by clowns since I was 4 years old and they STILL make my blood freeze. Poor poor me... but I like your video, as I always do. Thank you Mr Yellow.
