    I’ve been really impressed with South Koreans, their cuisine, and their culinary traditions. I’m especially fond of Kimchi and Bulgogi, but they have tons of other great dishes, too. Their portions are incredibly generous, as well - no miserable nouvelle cuisine practices.

    Korean here. The selection and layout is very much authentic to what a typical big supermarket around here would look and feel like. Cool video!

    That Korean supermarket looks really cool! I really like that they have a food court there too. There is an Asian supermarket in the Metro Detroit area too that is kind of similar but is more general with a mix of Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, and other stuff from SE Asia.

    Food?? Food you can get anywhere... You don't go to Hmart for food! You go to Hmart for *Korean TOYS!* That's the best part of Hmart!

    I love my local H-Mart. Mine is located near a very good Asian bakery/tea house so I can shop, then go relax with a hot beverage and a pastry. Best way to run an errand!

    I don't think I have ever been to an H Mart, here in San Diego. I have been to all of the other Asian markets down here though. I will have to visit the H Mart in North County, as it looks hugs and super interesting! Thanks for this great video, Chris! :-)

      There's a newish H Mart on Clairement Mesa Blvd -- it took over an old Sports Authority. It's not quite as big as this one. But still cool

    Now I know why Prima Taste Laksa is so expensive now...if Chris likes it he's driving up the price. 🤣 That's my favorite. If you can find the Whole Wheat noodle version it's the best, but never over cook the wheat noodles or you'll be sorry. I can't find it in the store, but can sometimes on Amazon.
    What do they do with the right wings?

    • @YellowProductions
      @YellowProductions  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmm. I've never head the Prima Taste Laksa with whole wheat noodles. And good question about the wings! :)

      That's the old one. This one just opened 3 weeks ago. Replaced an Albertsons at Culver and Alton.

    I live near an H mart. It’s a solid market with a good variety. Just curious Chris, when you shoot these store tour videos, you have to ask the manager for permission to film right? And has any store ever said No?

    • @YellowProductions
      @YellowProductions  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I often do them around store grand openings. I figure they are looking for publicity 😀

    Where is this H Mart located? Did you find a sweet banana milk drink? If so, what is it called?

    • @YellowProductions
      @YellowProductions  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Elizabeth, this H Mart is in Irvine at the intersection of Culver and Alton. There was indeed banana milk. I don't know what the brand name is though

    Korean 🇰🇷Market’s awesome !!! And why ? Because they carry some items that a normal American 🇺🇸 Grocery stores don’t even have or carry. !!!

    Thankfully you weren't mob by chinese because this just opened in one week ago they have lots of bargains and mostly people are gunning for lobster and these mad chinese people will buy lobster 🦞 and come back for another and keep coming back again and again. So these chinese could sell it on internet for more expensive amounts. I feel for you try find park to go to this store. Job well done for showing K-super market
