I don’t wanna spit facts at you but uhhh, roller coaster are safer than airplanes, trains, and cars. You have a less chance of dying on a roller coaster than being bit by 50 sharks, being ran over by 30 cars, etc. plus count how many seconds you really are dropping it’s usually just 3 - 4 seconds. You should watch ride povs before you ride them, plus roller coaster ride operators are heavily trained to give you the best and safest experience, I just helped you how to get over your fear of roller coasters. Also, look at the cart of this roller coaster ride compared to theme park carts, also harnesses have the same strength of an airplane flap.

Professional roller coaster designers still open rides that are unsmooth and uncomfortable by accident, so it’s not very surprising that an amateur inversion is uncomfortable. It is still fairly impressive though.
The problem is that it is not enough that the cart goes smoothly. The human strapped to it, moving with a slight delay relative to the cart because humans are not rigid is the hard part. For a smooth ride, both the cart and the delayed movement of the human being must be smooth. The smoothest ride I've been is the roller coaster called Tornado in Tampere, Finland. I guess they just got lucky designing that thing because many more recent rides are not equally smooth.
Big difference between a backyard rollercoaster for one person, and a multicar rollercoaster that must meet safety requirements, have a high throughput of riders and be able to withstand operating 10 hours a day every day. Oh, and not kill somebody. Even the professionals get it wrong. But as a backyard rollercoaster for one person, it's fantastic and he should be proud of his achievements.
