- When we're drinking, that's basically our only hobby. In this video I discuss the challenge of finding hobbies in sobriety and the importance of filling the void left by alcohol with healthy activities. I share my personal experience of getting obsessed with sobriety and the need to find balance in life, what I do for hobbies, and some ideas you can try

I started your podcast early tonight and I’m really grateful for the things you’ve said and talked about. I can’t speak for anyone else, but it’s helped me to hear someone who understands talk about these tougher topics so gently.
Wow thank you. I really appreciate this! Thank you for checking out my podcast
I'm to old to work overtime and pump iron but I adopted another dog and joined a rescue group. Layla will be taking me out for more walks. 🐕
Aw I love that so much!! Layla is lucky doggo!
I so needed this at 4 years clean. Thank you!
Time to get some new hobbies!
You’re so 100% right, I’m 27 months sober, and I picked up photography, electronics repair, and absolutely working out, aside from running a business with 3 locations
Wow you’re busy! This is amazing! Sounds like you have some great hobbies
Always love to listen and learn from your journey. I love the bird watching thing. I can see how people could get bored and fall back into drinking. I thank God my higher intuition everyday for really cutting all of my inhibitions or thinking I need closure from that life. I religiously started going to the gym daily. The endorphins I get from the pump is greater than any buzz I ever got from the drugs or alcohol. Truthfully the pain of wasting all those years, time and precious memories of my kids when they were younger makes me only want to become the Man, Father, Husband I was supposed to be when I said "I Do". Thank you for sharing your experiences and your guests challenges and how they have overcome the time waster called alcohol. Blessings to you and your family. Following from afar 💪

Good stuff and great ideas!
Thank you!!
I just want my old life back, few drinks here and there, after hobbies, but then covid got me drinking every single night after work. Bleh
