Q: I’m trying to sculpt wolverine’s action pose. Lunging forward, chest out, arms back but have difficulty time finding some good references on how the muscles should look. Any suggestions ?

It's always tough finding the exact same pose that you have in your mind. Visit posespace.com they have the best reference. Artstation.com also has good ones. You can use your own body for modeling using a mirror. You can also use one of those 3d posing tools to pose a 3d manequin for the exact pose, and then add muscle on top.

If i were you i would just start a gesture of the pose you have in mind. You will see that it will come together slowly. There are also models online that will do the pose for you if you pay them, that might be another idea.
