thank you for the unboxing. You should use separate cables for each pcie power connection on the card; not sure if this matters much here or why this is the only card with a two port design, but just something to keep in mind
Eeh.. You are of course completely right !! I should have used 2 cables !! In this case it will not matter much, like you said, but still. Thanks for pointing this out.
Do I need to install the drivers first and then switch the cards, or should I first switch the graphic cards and then when the PC is started, install the driver? And also I saw you used a Nvidia card before, is there something I need to do when switching from nvidia to intel (like reinstalling games/ deleting nvidia drivers)?
I installed the driver after changing the cards. I deleted the nvidia driver. There's nothing wrong with installing the ARC drivers before you change cards BTW. Reinstalling games will not be necessary.
@ thank you very much for this fast answer. I will install the card in the evening and you have the best guide on how to do this on TH-cam so I also thank you for the video.
@@LISO476 On the poly chrome RGB page it says the software can control memory RGB, various cases, cooling, led strips etc. form various brands. Brands are listed on the page. It will probably be difficult to have the various RGB eco-systems like ASRock Polychrome RGB, Corsiar iCUE, ASUS Aura and MSI mystic light work together.
I can't get my Windows to boot with it. I hope I don't have to reinstall. Will try to run it in parallel with my old GPU and see if installing drivers will help.
@@Benchmarks not only can I access the BIOS but I was able to plug both my old GPU and the B580 in, boot up to Windows 10, install the B580 drivers and see it registered in the task manager / performance tab. I took my old GPU out and I'm still getting the same blank screen with just a terminal cursor that's stuck when trying to boot Windows. It's really annoying because I don't want to have to reinstall my Windows. I have an older system, 5930k on LGA2011-v3.

are you able to control the argb lighting cuz i dont really like it that way. keeping it clean like white or blur would be a lot better

@@XfStef You could try an empty partition [or make one] and see if it works with a fresh windows.
