I actually agree with you. However, the main console version they made for the Wii took care of that problem by making the chorus chimes have less release time
To the people calling this version garbage you’re obviously always going to prefer the original version of any song you hear and the one you grew up hearing over the newer version and I can guarantee if this was the original version of the song and the genesis version would’ve been the remix you guys would call the genesis version garbage. So take your biased thinking aside and appreciate how good this remix truly is and I believe if this did come out for the snes it would’ve sounded exactly like this
Too many baseless assumptions you got there buddy. I've never played this game, I didn't grow with it, I know nothing of it except this song, and even then I think this remix is bad. There are, however, much better SNES remixes than this one (which I prefer, just check out Grand Poo World 2's version).
love the flute sounds you used its acually really nice and much more laid back than the original in general...also i know you probably got alot to do but you ever plan to do solitary, its like one of the best songs in the game in my opinon
As the Shinobi 3 OST is one of my favorite video game OSTs of all time, I had extremely high hopes for this SPC700-style remix/cover of yours, and you did not disappoint me. Great job, sir, and keep up the good work!
I still prefer the original mix, but this is really good use with the SNES. Sounds more laid back and Japanese like here, while the original sounded more intoxicating and mysterious
This is a quality remix. I have to say the Genesis version is superior but this is like a lounge version which is to say...very laid back and chill. Nicely done.
Its the jumping ninjutsu/power up; the whole "Gemini Man" effect has something to with an ingame reason of having the ninja using his clones to make himself lighter by distributing weight between his clones.
He uses FL and C700 IIRC, but while you can make a SPC with it, it's fairly unreliable (and also needs you to use all 8 channels, which TLoR doesn't do most of the time), so no, it's very likely that's not the case :V However, if you want a proper SPC cover of this theme, there's another really lit cover in Grand Poo World 2's soundtrack (a SMW hack); just search for "Grand Poo World 2 OST" and you should find it
I appreciate the work you do. SNES music can sound outstanding at its best, not unlike the Genesis. For comparison though, people should compare sound from actual genesis hardware, such as here: th-cam.com/video/pOXVPLCbiLY/w-d-xo.html Emulated Genesis music sounds horrible, grating, harsh, and the mixing of channels is all wrong. Check out Dustin's channel for the pure, original sound the YM2612 and PWM channels output. This track in particular sounds awful and shrill on emulation, but on OG hardware it's smooth and silky with great stereo phasing and delay effects. I prefer the genesis version for its great dual-channel effects, smooth envelopes, mixing, and broader frequency range, but I can understand if the FM synth sounds are grating to some ears.
the original is pure synthetic sounds more ninja than this snes garbage
FACTS
i agree
HAHAHAHA CBD
Your "pure synthetic" sounds are ear piercing shit. This is a masterpiece.

I still like the Genesis version better but damn this version is so good I love them both. I actually played it with this music soooo bad ass

Those drums are GODLIKE Ren
Ganbare Goemon 2 :D
This sounds amazing. You should do the entire soundtrack 👍
So Chilly, So Shinobi.
Ice in his veins.

I've already done Solitary dude, and a few other songs from this game
damn, i didnt see it yet, im gonna get on that now but again great work on the remix man
glad you told me the other songs are hella cool! all the best songs in the game remixed as well
Dude I absolutely love this.

Oh yes, this is great! Thanks Run!
This one came out a lot better than I assumed it would before I clicked on it. Great work and good choices in the arrangement
The Patron that suggested this is a hero
Nice remix, but I can't help but think of Sakuya Izayoi from the Touhou Project whenever I think of this song name.
lmao me too. Also nice pfp
I didn't think you get this _chill_ on the SNES? Good job man, Yuzo Koshiro is a *TOUGH* act to follow. 💪
Yuzo actually didn't do the music for Shinobi 3, it's a common misconception
Yuzo Koshiro passed on Super Shinobi 2. I hate to say it, but i'm glad he did. These are some amazing tracks
This is a quality remix. I have to say the Genesis version is superior but this is like a lounge version which is to say...very laid back and chill. Nicely done.
I perfer this one
Oh heck yes
My Ears and My Memory Needs This.
All that dithered fog would look so smooth on a CRT screen.
Even though I like the Genesis soundtrack this SNES rendition is still good.
Nice!! I like the drum break down at 3:24, sounds amazing!! My favorite game of all time!! Best Genesis game hands down💯🎮
0:26 my favorite part :)
its gets more better overtime But the end is something else. nicely done old school man of culture
still waiting for Solitary btw :)
I've Already done it lol
I love the varient versions with part of the track missing. Really cool 👍
Fantastic cover. Shinobi 3 is one of the best games for Genesis
Worth the wait 😎
The start sounds like shenmue music relaxing
Shinobi's whirlwind would be nice to hear next from you^^
I feel like i was tricked.... Unfortunately i may forget about this
You can set a reminder :p
Why did he have holograms following him whenever he moved? What is he, Gemini Man?
Don't hate. He might gang up on you. 😅
Its the jumping ninjutsu/power up; the whole "Gemini Man" effect has something to with an ingame reason of having the ninja using his clones to make himself lighter by distributing weight between his clones.
You should do a remix of He Runs. 👍
SHINOBI III Remix
epic
Did you use instruments from Hagane?
Nope they were from Konami games (the Ganbare Goemon series mostly)
What do you use to make your SNES music ?
Does it really run on a SNES, and can you make an SPC with your software ?
He uses FL and C700 IIRC, but while you can make a SPC with it, it's fairly unreliable (and also needs you to use all 8 channels, which TLoR doesn't do most of the time), so no, it's very likely that's not the case :V

@@DixieChixalright, thanks for all those details !
Shinobi Walk Do you think you can make it?snes style for this?
How can I play this?
