my brother just bought one loaded w/track pack and w/the six and rear wheel drive the car is so retro and gorgeous from all angles w/a nice mix of tech and comfort he is so happy and he has owned some firebreathers in the past
I have a 2021 GT. I enjoyed your review of the 2022. My car is very similar. I felt like your review was very thorough and accurate! Challengers are fun cars! I commute 110 miles per day. On days I drive hwy mileage & some city mileage, I get 29-30 mpg. On strictly hwy mileage days its gotten as high as 32.3 mpg. I guess I’m saying it gets what it’s supposed to, plus more! Well done review!
Your review made me take a closer look at this (Frostbite) color. I agree with you. The color of the wheels and blacktop package, as well, is gorgeous with that Frostbite color🥰!
That is a gorgeous color. I love the look of the Challenger. It's a real throwback, but even with the V6, it's just too thirsty for my blood. Nice car, though. The AWD is nice, too, if you live in a snowy area. Would be good for a family man who wants a car with some style.
Some style? It looks almost exactly the same as any other Challenger. Personally, I'd pick this with all the fancy packages as a daily driver over performance.
I have a 2021 GT. I commute 110 miles per day. The days I’ve driven highway miles, I have occasionally seen as high as 32.2 mpg. The days I’ve driven some city miles as well, I’d say it averages 29-30 mpg.
That car today 3/2024 in the DFW Texas can be bought for $29,500.00. For a 2023 GT at auto-nation and a 2023 RT Challenger for about $34,750.00. 2023 Challenger scat pack - about $45,650.00 Huge savings at this time, great review sir!
I just got a 2022 gt today in white with all the black blacktop package details it is gorgeous. So happy to own a challenger before they discontinue them. I had my 08 charger r/t for many years and love the dodge muscle!
These cars will be highly sought after for decades! Even the base model has 310 hp! In a totally cool coupe! I'm on my second RT but these V-6 cars will be the best deal!
$38,000 for a V6 Challenger today is like paying $5300 in 1970 for a fully loaded slant 6 powered Challenger. You could get a bare bones 426 Hemi Challenger for $5,300 in 1970, which would be like getting a Hellcat for $38,000 today 😞
@@mechanical_otter1708 Cars back then were assembled by actual humans, nowadays they are built robotically, so labor cost have been replaced by necessary safety and security requirements costs on top of design costs, actual material used to design a vehicle, etc.. I'm sure adjusted for inflation, the actual cost to produce a vehicle isn't far off today versus 50+ years ago.
The dealers up here in Illinois are FISCKUNTING THEM OFF STICKER NOT ADDING MARKUP, YOU ALREADY HAVE YOUR PROFIT IN THE MSRP SO WHO WOULD PAY MARKUP, WHAT A TURN OFF !
Wow $38,000.00? Two years ago I bought a 2019 Challenger GT in Go Mango with the blacktop packsge, performance handling package, driver convenience package and the upgraded Alpine 9 speaker stereo for $28,500.00 with only 2,000 milled on the odometer. Performance isn't bsd but can't compare to the 5.7 Hemi.
Mine has a package, I think the entertainment package maybe, but it comes with the bigger screen and it is amazing for the back up camera. Gives a bit of a better view, as well as just generally being easier to see.
I believe the GT is slightly faster than the SXT. The later of what I've read doesn't quite make 305hp like the GT. Also, the gearing on the GT feels stiffer. I drove an SXT then a GT and it felt slightly quicker.
You should have showed you starting it up and the exhaust noise. Told about the rumble but never showed or heard it. Who is dumb enough to pay a MARKUP, you would have to be nuts!

One thing I love about challenger is because I'm 5'6" and I can fit perfectly inside the driver side and 4 more family

FINALLY someone talking about how the GT actually drives......THANK YOU!
This is my dream car! Amazing video bro.

Just sold my hellcat red eye for a zl1 22 never going back
That’s a very reasonable swap
Like a bitter baby momma 🤣 you're on the wrong video buddy
i'm pretty close to getting a '15 b5 pearl rt with black rims :) i'm so excited

Agreed but cars have all sorts of stuff in them now too, like monitors sensors, ect

@@mechanical_otter1708 I agree, cars have way more now compared to back in the stone ages
@@naomid1819well even today, dodge interior still in stone ages😂😂😂
The comparison does not solve any issue because numbers are not the only part of the equation. Things have changed q lot since 1970.
I’m going to miss the Challenger! No electric vehicle will ever replace the gasoline powered Dodges of the last 10 years.

You got a steal. 😂
I really want a gt but the prices stopped me from getting one. Hopefully HOPEFULLY PRICES WILL GO DOWN this fall
No shit, it’s a v6
Last call…. Got one!
mine didn’t come wit a sunroof 🤔 2022 GT w/ BLACKTOP PKG
The GT is hard to find with a sunroof. I’ve been searching lol.
@@mizzangel77 why do you guys want a sunroof ? It’s kinda ugly
@@mizzangel77 have you found 1 yet with a sunroof? I want a sunroof also but they are so hard to find😫
can you take of the GT decal on the front?
Probably

Does the challenger gt not have super track pack? Only the charger? I know the v8 models obviously have it but I didn’t see the super track pak button
I don’t think this one had it, but I’m not sure. 😕
Mine has Super Track Pack
My 2019 Challenger GT has the Track Pack option. But not all GT's have that option. I looked at a GT at CarMax and it did not have Track Pack.
Yes as an option you can get the super track pack which has the 8.4 inch touch screen u/connect.

How much faster is the GT than sxt? Any other pros for choosing GT? Is mpg the same?
Think they both have V6, so I’m not quite sure. I’d think mpg would be same, and I like GT looks better.
From what I’ve seen the GT is like the sxt because of the v6 but the GT has RS (v8) amenities.
Quiero ese Dodge Challenger gt 2022
why are the lights flashing?
Just how camera is picking up lights.
Nice car AWD drive can't be that in snow states
"only" $38k for a V6 Dodge Challenger lol
V8 brand new gonna run you 50k so yea
Dope

Camaro or challenger?
😬😬 Based on preference. I like Camaro performance better, but there’s somethin about whippin a challenger. 😎
@@NothinButCarReviewsChallenger better to me

great
wow
Merican muscle cars suppose to be v8 no v6 man 😏
why do you drive so slow .
