And this was exclusively on a streaming service (Verizon's go90) that no one watched. It wasn't apart of their plan for this franchise, but to be a promotional content for SF5. Their next project would have been World Warrior to continue the story after Assassin's Fist. Since they were working with Machinima, I assume it wasn't what they wanted but was a necessary evil to keep their relations on good terms. High risk that yielded little reward.
From what I understand they had a sequel in mind following assassin's fist that would have been similar in story to the animated movie (culminating in a brawl between Ken, Ryu vs M Bison complete with a 'I'll Fight you on your own level' quote; then capcom nixed it to make a SFV tie in, and machinima dropped the budget and gave them very little time to get it all together.

Yes Assasin Fist is film adaptation of the events happens BEFORE Street Fighter 1. Ressurrection is film adaptation of the events of Street Fighter 5. Between 1 and 5 there is a huge gap: SF1, then SF Alpha 1 and SF Alpha 2, then SF Alpha 3, then SF2, then SF4 and only then SF5. SF3 happens after SF5, and then after SF3 goes SF6

No, la película termina así pero nunca se vio esa pelea en los juegos. Solo sabemos que Gouki acabo supuestamente "muerto". Planearon hacer la segunda parte, llamada World Warriors, pero la productora con la firmaron el contrato les dió largas para empezar el rodaje y al final perdieron la liciencia. Unos cabrones.
Al fin encuentro completa está casi secuela de Assassin's Fist, muchas gracias!!! Uf el bison clavaron el traje junto con el de nash, dios esta "secuela" promocional del 5to juego esta muy bien hecha tal como la primera esta respetando al contenido original no como otras adaptaciones, pero cuando salio bison dijo no manches se pasaron de lanza y nash dios no me lo esperaba, laura pues bueno no es tan complicado el traje y el peinado pero los demás OMFG clavados
they make these quality fan movies on nothing more than passion for the IP... imagine what could happen if they got real backing from an actual studio like say Warner... Assassins fist was made on a low budget, so in respect to the actors who played the characters of Saiyaka Goken, Goki, Gotetsu, Akuma, Ken, and Ryu didn't get paid much but yes I agree they should have carried on with the storyline of assassins fist but I think the budget would had cost a lot more to make.

They dropped the ball with this one,, Street Fighter Assassins fist was and still is a BANGER,, this ain’t it compared to what they had going
Assassins fist was made on a low budget, so in respect to the actors who played the characters of Saiyaka Goken, Goki, Gotetsu, Akuma, Ken, and Ryu didn't get paid much but yes I agree they should have carried on with the storyline of assassins fist but I think the budget would had cost a lot more to make.
