I think this is the first video I've seen that covers all allies for dg in detail instead of just brigands. I also love how you did the lists at the end.

How's it been Archon? Kinda took a break form the hobby for a few months and wasn't keeping up with any news. Dude, just gotta say congrats on how much your channel has grown. I remember subing to you when you had like 40 subs or 400 or something like that. Keep up the great work big dawg your vids are hella informative 🔥
One thing I gotta say, if we ever get into a horde heavy meta, deathguard can get crazy amounts of indirect blast. 3 plague tanks, then take soul grinders/war dog allies. You can make a very durable, anti-horde allied list with them and at the moment it doesn't feel bad not having a ton of faction units since their rules suck lol.
The problem with the tallyman is that if you ever cash your secondary in at the end of your turn you get a CP back either way and then your tallyman is worthless

Awesome video! Love the fact you brought up Death guard sorcerer, he’s one of my favourite units and really underrated for his points. Add him to terminators and you have a cheap tanky unit that can deal some shocking damage! Looking forward to the next vid 🙏
Oh dude, that Sorcerer is legit. I'd run him in almost any army hah, esp at 80pts. He's low key amazing imho! It's funny doing this review I'm suddenly all hyped on DG lol
Appreciate that ACD, I always try to toss in units that aren't tippy toppy competitive in case someone doesn't own all the models (or doesn't want to just run 100% comp. units for whatever reason!), so I appreciate that feedback man

For the Space Marines, they're one of the most popular factions so I do need to get to them eventually. The only thing holding me back is they just have sooooo many profiles so researching / prepping for that would take a good bit hah. So yeah, eventually I'll get to them. Honestly I wanna cover some of the Chapters first, so Dark Angels, Death Watch etc

Take a GUO and a chaos nurgle daemon prince. Enjoy a GUO with stealth, and fnp, and a t11 daemon prince with stealth, fnp, and a 3+ invun for a phase. Enjoy using them to bully T2 terminators. There are so many great combos in DG!
Nice lists, have you seen Aidens deathguard list? He went 4-1 using a pretty fun looking list, had 20 poxbringers with typhus and relied on plaugebursts with mortarion buffs
I have not! You know, I could see going a full 20-man with Poxwalkers could make them a bit better, that's a lot of wounds to chew through for only 120pt. Running Typhus too, that's really cool actually. I'll need to look that one up!

I’m curious/interested in what GW will do for DG regarding balance! Hopefully GW won’t just slash points across the board😅. I think even just a simple army wide 6+ FNP would do them wonders!
Same here man & 100% agree about needing more than points. I'm hoping they tweak the army rule to add something onto it, even a 6+++ would be great tho like you say!
I had a dream that a herald of Nurgle came through a portal and he was like "hey you gotta check out Nurgle's garden bro" and I went in and walked around and saw a bunch of disgusting stuff and of course I started dying of disease after a few minutes. I could see the skin on my fingers blistering off. I started begging a deathshroud terminator to kill me but ofc he refused. When I woke up I decided that I needed to start collecting Death Guard again because Death Guard are based.
@fatarchon Haha. Yeah. We all have a few sayingings like that. When I got promoted in my last job the cake literally said "fair enough" and "I see what you are saying but" as a joke because I say those things so much. Great video for real. The Chaos Lord's ability is an aura, so it doesn't stack.
