Just built my DG combat patrol, and I am currently building a chaos rhino, paint is in the mail, brushes (air and otherwise) are getting re-purposed from my fishing lure painting, and I'm hoping that 1JUN2024 is the day I should be prepared to bring a 500 point DG list to my LGS for an ass whipping the like I've not had since boot camp, keep the content rolling my man, your making these chaos chachkies tolerable 😂

Hi Aidan - i use a Malignifier in every game i play; if you deploy it behind a ruin it can provide stealth to the unit in front of it hiding in the ruins, without exposing itself at all. I usually have a large unit of Blightlords in front, and then a Helbrute, Predator, Land Raider etc behind it to benefit from free Stealth, especially if you dont get first turn. Its an auto take for me

You mentioned the BoilBlight strat when talking about cultists, this is exactly why I love the Helbrute despite him being expensive. He can tag something and it'll work to trigger BoilBlight for the PBCs

Shout out to a six-man Deathshroud unit led by a Lord of Contagion rapid-ingressing. I’ve found it to be one of the most consistent ways to punch up into high toughness targets once you fish for lethals on the hit roll. It’s a unit I’ve used a ton, and I’ve watched them drop knights before. (Admittedly slightly lucky rolls to do that.)
In Ep13 of the Podcast you talk about shooting with both of Morty's weapons in the one shooting phase? But the Lantern has Pistol, so you shouldn't be able to shoot with both, right?
Ive been apparently running plague marines way different than anyone else but to a great success. Ive been running 1 unit nearly full melee ×5 heavy ×4 bubotic ×1plas pistol and ×1 spewer with foul blight and chaos lord plague fist. A second unit very shooty ×2 melta ×2 spewer ×2 launcher 4 boltgun ×1 bubotic with bilogus and tallyman. I will add theat ive only played with friends and plan to start running competitve soon. Im not sure if ill still have the success
Unfortunately it does still work it's not modifying a characteristic it's just a flat out you don't get to take armor saves so alas we don't ignore it booo
A good setup I have with he heavy blight luancher bloat drones is plunging fire cause it's base isn't so big you have to worry about it overhanging and not being able to sit at a higher floor

I've had really good luck running either 3 big blobs of 10 plague marines with 4 bubotic weapons, 4 heavy plague weapons and either 2 blight launchers or 2 melta's and a plasma pistol and fist on the champ backed up by a foul blightspawn each for the fights first or 2 10 man units of blightlords with 2 reaper autocannons 2 plaguespewers and 2 flails.
Newer death guard player here, have played a fair bit on TTS and you have helped me a ton. My list does differ a bit from what you run because I started running wardogs but I love your insight. Do you have a discord I could bounce some list off of and get some feedback?

Have you had much experience with the blightspawn and putrifier with 10 PMs in a rhino full of flamers and 5 heavy plague weapons? Feel like the overwatch capability combined with the melee threat makes them a great threat vs everything. Thanks for the video! helpful when getting back into DG!
I haven't played too much with 10an squads I think after London I'll be a lot more experimental but on paper it seems very good for controlling the movement of opponents whilst still packing a melee punch

Hi, as im camming back to 40k after some time, i like to ask: What about Spartan Yea, it is Forge, and its price is about the full 10mans of Blightlords, but it does have a massive houl to fit those 10 Blightlords+leader, and just like Raider it can support them with anti-armour fire Is there any reason to play this blight-brick instead of just droping them?
So the spartan is unfortunately a legends unit alongside all 30k units this means that although legal for games at home with friends it's not legal for event/matched play hence why we didn't cover it. It is however a very fun unit and If I could I would try it out
I noticed that all our contagions affect the enemy units with debuffs. They do not buff our stuff. So this is great for allies. Imagine a Despoiler with two battle cannons. At 36 inches or less (a respectable range) it is laying down 4D6 plus 12 str 10 (now ap -2) Damage 3 shots. That's going to tear stuff up! That is if you pick the -1 ap contagion. Or make the enemy -1 BS and -1 to WS and ally in 3 Karnivores....
Ever thought about putting the terminator Sorcerer with 5 blightlords? The ability of rerolling wound rolls of 1 can be a big deal of making the huge bomb Sorcerer spell much more reliable.
Thats a decent shout to be fair it's just a question of whether him receiving that ability for his one big turn outweighs the buffs the others provide all game. Though he still can give -1 dmg too. Its definitely an option to consider

Plus his 2D6A, S6, Ap-2 1Dmg attack is still pretty good and rerolling 1's to wound on all of those attacks is also pretty good. And giving that -1 damage on the blightlords gives so much more durability per point.

One additional upside to the Myphitic Blight-hauler is that it's cheap in _real world cash._ It's stunningly cheap for a model this recent. It's half the price in US dollars of the Fetid Bloat-drone, which has the same point cost. While the Bloat-drone is undeniably more flexible and mobile, the Blight-hauler wins brownie points with me for being an easier buy-in for folks starting their collections.
Yeah I'm still bewildered how they're so cheap xD but it's definitely an easy decision to grab a few and fantastic for newer players to bulk up their army without crazy investment

My favorite is 2 spewers 2 melta/Plasma champion with heavy plague wep and plasma gun, blight launcher and 4 heavy plague weapons

Listen, a 10 man blightlord is 30 wounds for ~300 points, a 3 Man MBH unit is 30 wounds, oc9 and 10 inch move
