Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Healthy New Year from Cape Cod Massachusetts. 🎄Be well. Keep the videos coming😄. Love sharing your adventures with you 🙏❤️
Merry Christmas and :) New Year, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, eh. Hope you chipped a few pieces of that blue glacier for 2022 New Year drinks. Cheers.
I wish my sis and I could have went to Alaska she found yaws channel like 2 or 3 weeks before she died. I'd come home to find her sitting watching you all and just excited to tell me what you all were doing. Now I continue to watch your channel. Keep the vids coming. It doesn't matter what it's about something or nothing. Just a day, it makes me remember my sis smile and be excited. Love yaw
Keep Vids coming for him and For all of who watch faithfully. I watch but I don't usually leave Messages but I really enjoy your Videos. Ginger L USA ALABAMA ❤️
Our three year old, Novah is your biggest fan. He refers to y’all as “the lady and the guy”, and wants to watch some every night before bed. His favorite topics are the chickens, berry picking, and Bandit playing in the mud. Cheers from Kentucky.
Love you guys channel. Lived in Fairbanks for three years from 98 to 01 and loved it up there. Not cold till it hits 30 to 40 below for two weeks at a time with ice fog.
Y’all produce the most beautiful videos I’ve ever seen on TH-cam. The glacier and the aerial views are just breathtaking. It seems you both truly enjoy getting things done around your homestead and work so well together. Thank y’all for sharing your Alaska life with us. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to come!
If you have addressed this issue before, p[ease forgive me. I am a big-time snowmobiler. I worked for a few decades as a journalist writing for snowmobile publications. I have been an active snowmobile club member and a snowmobile safety instructor for 40 years. OK, all this blathering is hopefully to give me some credibility. And yes, I have ridden a snow machine in Alaska. I am amazed that you guys don't wear snowmobile helmets. This episode really shows how cold you can get. The purpose of a helmet is for safety and warmth. If you haven't tried a helmet on in a while, the design has come a long way. I am so hooked on your show and have learned a lot! For example, I replaced my island in the kitchen with a stainless steel table. The multi-use aspect of this kitchen tool is fantastic! I also bought a thermal mug, again, that I LOVE! I gave these to my girlfriends for Christmas and my husband for his birthday. I adore Alaska and it was my specialty when I owned my travel agency. We are heading there in Sept on a 7-day cruise. I wish we could explore more but the hubs is not a traveler and I'm so lucky he agreed to this!! Keep up the great work!
Seriously high quality viewing of breathtaking scenery. Your videos just keep getting better with excellent camera work and well-chosen music when it can add to the moods. Thanks for sharing your experiences and lives with the world outside.
The two of you are absolutely amazing. Years ago I wanted to go to Alaska and that wife, job and mortgage thing hampered me. Wife of 35 years split. Eleven heart surgeries keep my physical adventures to a minimum. I have a farm, I just sold the last of my cattle as I cannot take care of them. Any of you young folks inspired by our gracious hosts should make your move while you can. Best wishes for Blessings for all in 2022.
I love watching yalls videos as a fellow Alaskan it’s nice seeing everything you guys accomplish. I’m not trying to be a downer but I’m hoping you guys invest in helmets soon. As someone who has been a lifelong Alaskan and lost multiple friends to snowmachine deaths safety equipment can not be talked about enough. Wishing you a Merry Christmas 🎄 and the happiest of New Years!!
could not agree more with how much of a difference a helmet can make providing your with protection from an accident and would also provide you with protection from the elements and keep you warmer
Agree on the helmets. I was thinking the same thing. I’m not from Alaska, but Texas where lots of four wheeler and gold cart injuries and deaths happen.
They are intelligent people so it doesn't make sense that they won't wear helmets for their own comfort and protection. Kind of like people who boat in open water without life jackets or run chainsaws without safety gear. Go figure.
You do wonderful pictures.....I'm 82 right now, but I was a professional photographer for over 35 years, specializing in Wedding Photography, but some scenic and landscapes, and you have the perfect eye for your subjects....really gifted...I truly appreciate seeing your work..keep it up !!👍👍
thank you for a beautiful trip. Brings tears to my eyes to realize how short life is. Such beauty you share with us. thank you and God's blessings on the two of you and the pups. Sandra Sherritt, Camarillo, CALIF.
I love the photography you guys put out. The water flowing through, in and around the ice is just beautiful. I envy you guys. I wish I were young again, I'd be doing what you're doing now. But, I'm not, so I'll just keep watching and living that life vicariously through you two. Take care of each other and hope you have a wonderful Christmas.
You two are so blessed to be able to see such beauty everyday. I really envy you. I know there is hardships out there but to be able to see this is just awesomeness.
So beautiful again. That blue glacier looks like it could be on another planet or in a James Bond movie. Thanks for showing us Alaska and the amazing progress you've made to your home there. Peace, love and happy holidays.
I proudly live off grid in my self build 22' tiny house on wheels in the deep woods of Lanaudiere, Quebec 💙, Canada. Your landscape is very similar to mine, but I have to admit to a bit of jealousy seeing those blue glacier ..... I mean 😲!! You guys sure are living the dream!!
I remember having the exact opposite problem in Australia, out at Longreach. It was so hot that the fuel kept vaporising in the lines. We had to run an extended line through a bucket of water to cool it down enough to keep running.
I'll just add my voice to the throng of people raving about the quality of the videos you produce. You get SO much beautiful footage. Thanks for sharing.
We have those short-tailed weasels here in northern Wisconsin too. They're so cute in the winter when they turn white. :) They like running around our log piles. We had a pair make a burrow under the snow last winter. We found their nest after it had all melted.
Wow! This is by far the most beautiful video you have ever shown us. I am happy to see the snow and ice from my comfortable chair in a warm place. I don't know how the birds and other wildlife survive it. You live off grid in your cabin but could really find it much harder to survive without gasoline powered machines and I can't blame you for using them.
The shot that you had head on i swear it looked like ''the titanic '' frozen in time....absolutely stunning!!! Merry Christmas & happy new year to both of you....hope you have a wonderful holiday
Merry Christmas Eric and Arielle!! I hope you guys have a safe and wonderful holiday! Thank you for your amazing videos, they feel like gifts we get all year long. Sending you sunshine through warm wishes. --Jessica from Florida 🌞
The blue of the glacier was absolutely thrilling. I felt as though I was right there feeling the chill. I'm so glad you guys love the cold and charming life of Alaska. I, for one, am always excited to see the splendor and beauty that the two of you will film for those of us who live far, far away. Merry Christmas and may the new year bring the two of you more great adventures.
You two amaze me time and time again with your culinary inventiveness. The part I enjoy most in your video's is seeing whats for dinner. You two are remarkably inventive gourmets. I really love your channel.
Wow, that glacier is so amazing. Thank you for bringing us on that journey. I really loved the music you chose for the start of the video. Hope you, and your furry, and feathered friends have a wonderful holiday season, and I look forward to what you share with us next year. Best wishes, from The Emerald Isle 🇮🇪
Arielle you are an amazing videographer and the way you pair music together with the video is excellent. I never miss one of your videos! Have a very happy holiday and thanks for all the adventures you bring us along on!
My family calls the day before Christmas Eve Christmas Adam (because Adam came before ever and years ago, one of the cousins asked to open a gift on the day before Christmas Eve by calling it Christmas Adam. It worked)
AGAIN you guys out do yourselves! You are AMAZING at integrating A-roll, B-roll, drone footage and background music. Plus, it is just a joy to see you guys work so well together! Keep up the excellent work!
Wow, how magnificent is that? Space it’s so open and you don’t realize how massive that glacier is until you see a size reference with you too in front of it. That’s just amazing to me, it blows my mind that there are things like that out there on this beautiful Earth....not to mention the awesome footage of the Bighorn Sheep!!
I saw this glacier from the train back in August and enjoyed seeing freshwater bergs (just something you wouldn't think of). From the train it was hard to see that it is so massive! Thanks for sharing!
I love that you guys include such tranquil footage in your videos. I gotta say though, I think the last three minutes of this video has been my favorite! So lovely. That bright blue melting river drone footage was particularly stunning. 😍
Beautiful shots of the Alaska landscape, I remember being wowed by the vivid aquamarine color of glacier ice as well. I hope it feeds the artist in you to edit the raw footage into such wonderous scenes. At the same time, I find the daily maintenance of your homestead to be what I really love seeing on your channel.
Love the water shots at the end, especially 32:18 it looks like the ice was dancing ☺️. Outstanding music selection on this video. Merry Christmas you guys & the puppers & kitten🎄
I was thinking also about how important music is to the ‘likability’ of TH-cam videos. Some people have interesting content but will never reach this number of followers because their music is not carefully curated and edited in. Great job!
The views at the end are freaking awesome. Was that a lake trying to freeze? It looked cool that the water was making a swirl as it was flowing over the ice.
That ermine at 14:42 is gorgeous…but also hopes for a chicken dinner! Stunning photography, especially the drone work. Thank you both so much for generously sharing your lives with us. Merry Christmas!
Want to recognize the quality of your videos has been consistently moving upward. You guys put in a ton of work on the cinematic b roll shots and third person views every vlog. This was such a joy to watch, your videos transport me every time and for that I can’t get enough. ✊🏻🥃
Thanks so much for the absolute trip to the Glacier, born and raised in Alaska! Never had taken the time to get out and venture the way you two do! Thanks again! Palmer Alaska here. 57 years of living this awesome land we call home
The beginning of the video with that music was stunning. I could watch that all day. Amazing cinematography guys. Thanks for sharing. Happy Holidays to you both.
Oh Gish I was cold just watching you guys. That was amazing, I had no idea you could visit glaciers, nor that they are so massive. Thank you both for taking us along for the ride, and please be safe.
Wow, nothing like this in Australia. A great big THANK YOU for shareing. We've been binge watching from ep 1 for about 6months and nearly up to date now. Great work 👍 🙂
The whole Alaskan scenery and the beautiful way you guys always capturing it is absolutely breathtaking! Wishing you both and everyone in the comment section a wonderful and merry Christmas, from my house to yours, many blessings 🌟
That opening sequence is stunning! How are you not in a partnership with the state or a travel bureau? I never wanted to go to Alaska before but after watching your videos it's definitely on my bucket list.
Absolutely amazing! What a fun trip to the glacier. Your video footage & the way you put it together gets better in every single video. It was a pleasure experiencing Alaska through your eyes... As always :) Lot's of love from the Ozarks... Happy holidays & New Year! - Brian + Erin
You guys are just amazing! The footage of the glacier was breath taking and I am in awe of the temps and terrain you both immerse yourselves in. What the heck was that beautiful little white animal with the black tipped tail?!
Absolutely stunning drone footage and videos! Thank you for sharing some of Alaska’s natural wonders ! Wishing you a Happy, safe and warm Christmas and New Year!
I am back here in the New Hampshire Mountains, and have been following the two of you for the past year. Thank you, thank you, thank you.... for your tenacity, grit, energy and the thrill of living that the two of you obviously have. You make it look easy..... I know it is not..... I am in awe of you. As we say in New Hampshire.... Live Free (or Die). Forget the die part. LOL! Thanks so much for sharing!
Gorgeous scenery. Merry Christmas to all of you. Can't wait to see what the New Year brings from you two. Whatever it is it will be awesome! Hoping 2022 is filled with safety and good health for you both.
It has been a while since I last visited your channel, but.. glad to see you and your wife are exploring and doing well. It has been maybe a year since I watched one of your videos. Always informative and entertaining. Keep it up!!
It's been wonderful watching you guys. From the daily grind of survival to exploring and challenging your boundaries. Your filming techniques continue to grow and impress. I'm reminded of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. I'd say you are definitely self actualizing... this voyeur appreciates and applauds your tenacity.
What a spectacularly beautiful visual gift you gave us today. You always give us wonderful images and videos but today you outdid yourselves. A Blessed Christmas to you both and sweet puppy dreams for The Boys! 🌲👍🥰❤️
How is it I haven't seen this yet?! Christmas has come again!! You two have inspired me so much you'll never know. I am forever grateful to have stumbled upon your journey. -Big fan from 🇨🇦
What a wonderful life, thank you for sharing some of it with us!! Beautiful place, beautiful day, beautiful food - Happy Holidays to the two of you; be happy and stay safe!!💖
As usual, the aerials by Arielle are spectacular, and the music is well chosen. I wasn’t sure if I was watching National Geographic, popular mechanic, the cooking channel or the weather channel. We got em all this video.
Have you ever thought of moving your chickens into the hoop house for winter? They would benefit from a bit of protection and the garden would get some good fertilizer and tilling service. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
It has been ages since I was in Alaska, but I remember using a multifuel Onan/Cummings generator. I loved the multiple fuel options (gas, diesel, LP) Since it covered all of the options for keeping it running. It never really froze up because the cookstove's hot water coil was extended and it looped through the generator's concrete pad. It was a pain to drain the system of all of the water when no one was going to be present to tend the fire... the stove was a true antique, running off of coal, wood, or LP gas. I know my uncle wanted to add the pellet option to the cook stove. But Coal was fairly cost effective, even in Alaska, or was... I truly miss the majesty of Alaska. Thank you for sharing your adventures here on TH-cam. I get to live vicariously through your videos! Merry Christmas! I hope 2022 is even better!
Thanks for sharing your Alaskan experience. I love the state and it’s wilderness but never got to go visit it. If I could turn back time I think after graduating HS I would’ve bought a motorcycle or Jeep and drove up there to live. I’ve gotten the Alaska magazine for years enjoying the articles up until lately where they’ve gotten off track like many publications on ‘woke’ stuff. Merry Christmas 🎁🎄
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year! We wish you a warm or cool season wherever you may be in the world. We hope you enjoy the Alaskan winter landscape as much as we do❤🌲☃

But it's not the same species, in Alaska it's the Mustela erminea, while you will have the Mustela richardsonii in the rest of US
might want to double check that...
Surreal...the beauty that is basically your backyard is stunning!!
Hauntingly beautiful music with your majestic country and big horn sheep.

Fun and memorable times! So happy for you that you get to do a lot of these trips!
Beautiful, but not where I belong! Thanks for sharing, really enjoy your videos!
Bandit and Beau are the ultimate chill doggos.
The shots of the glacier was amazing, you didn’t realise how huge it was until the drone Ariel footage, Merry Christmas from the UK 🌲
“It’s really cool out here”. Yes and yes. Loved the blue of the glacier.
What a spectacularly beautiful visual gift you gave us today. You always give us wonderful images and videos but today you outdid yourselves. A Blessed Christmas to you both and sweet puppy dreams for The Boys! 🌲👍🥰❤️

Merry Christmas Eric and Ariel, I just want to thank you for bringing such peace to my world every time I get to watch one of your vlogs.
Happy festive season to you both and I hope the new year continues to give you love, light, health, happiness, positivity and peace … 🙏☘️😘
I have been your subscriber when you were just on 80k subs. I really appreciate the way of your video making ❤️
Merry Christmas to you both. Have a safe & peaceful Festive Season......💞🎅🎄🎅💞
🇿🇦 Stunning videography as always - the glacier is absolutely beautiful! 🥰
Have you ever thought of moving your chickens into the hoop house for winter? They would benefit from a bit of protection and the garden would get some good fertilizer and tilling service.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
I read their reply on a recent video. Arielle is concerned about the moisture causing respiratory issues for the chickens in the hoop house.
Beautiful update.
WOW! The glacier and your filming are amazing! I love the adventure you take us on, so wonderful. Merry Christmas to you both!
*Your cinematography and editing is getting better and better! Keep pumping out videos to pay those bills!*
Merci pour les vidéos et belles fêtes de fin d'année :)
