Absolutely stunning! I was born and raised in Lapland, above the artic circle (Finland) so I know the circumstances. It is really hard with the temperatures and in general with the long winter. You are doing fantastic! Just keep filming and doing what you do. We love this!
My God, what was that! Can't remember when I have watched something so magical. It's beyond words, especially the night view of the landscape. Are they for real!!! I forgot the world for a while.
So first I started watching this video with my phone, then switched to my laptop to grab the whole essence. Finally, moved to my 43" HD tv, which could make justice to the quality of the video, and to my feelings.

@johnny Good The big worry about leaving something historical for your future people, is that everything is in digital form now and easily removed or subverted by those wishing to control the past and the future. At least with physical film, photos, video tape, books etc it could be stored more safely / secretly.
@johnny Good Yeah true I think, although most things have a backdoor for access. Maybe time will show that digital was better etc.

Late Night Full Moon Ski Trip... Pure magic!
The drone coverage and photographic capture of the sunrise over this forest is award-winning film - just breathtaking. The baby playing with the cat on HIS terms and all the 'chatting' that went on was a sign of excellent things to come. So smart.
Absolutely stunning. The light from the moon makes everything looks so magical and the glitter from the snow sparkling like little jewels in the moon light. Beautiful and what a lovely time to ski walk, though I would be scared in case there were wolves about, or any wild animal actually. Reminds me of Narnia, you have captured the beauty so well and the sky studded with those stars in such a clear sky. wow, that sunrise is fantastic. Look at wild wonderful life they have installed solar panels on their homestead quite a long distance from their house, perhaps this will help you and if you had questions you could ask Josh he has learnt a lot about solar.

The night skiing was incredible, the most surreal thing I've ever seen. You should submit that to some sort of film festival contest or something like that!! I watched it over and over just trying to absorb it and put myself there!!

It is fun and exhilarating in my opinion. The only part that's hard for me is the transition from a cozy warm house to the outdoors. Once I'm out in it, the endorphins kick in and it's blissful.
That little babe's footwear is adorable. Thanks for including him for our viewing pleasure. Yeah, snowblowers suck but they are pretty necessary. A roof rake would serve you best. They are cheap, easy to use, and allow you to stay ahead of the snow on your roof without having to climb up and shovel. Cheers from Maine, USA!

I have never experienced anything like this! So amazing to see it! I have never really seen so much snow accumulation and winter scene of white or felt temperatures that low. I can't believe it. This maybe the only way I do experience it. I am in Florida and I prefer a warm climate but I should try to go into this kind of winter sometime. ..!.

I know it takes time, effort and dedication to set up those shots for filming and then to edit the material, which is why I want to say that your footage of your late night, full moon ski journey was one of the more visually stunning moments I've ever experienced in my TH-cam viewing memory. I just shoveled another foot of snow ❄️ this evening here in The Mountains 🏔 of New Hampshire it has been snowing non stop for weeks now gets overwhelming at times

The English word for when the snow sets up after being disturbed is "sintering". Most english speakers don't know this word.
We call it “ compacted snow “ in New England

I really loved the moonlit ski trip... it was so beautiful! Alhamdulilah! So much snow... it's really nice to see the real winter life overseas because here in the tropics, we have summer all year round. It's hard to imagine thick snow covering the land and so much cold that even the stream is frozen solid.
Love this couple they remind me of what my ancestors probably had to endure.
I bet all if our ancestors endured something like this
except Mathias & Tova are much cleaner and probably much, much better looking than mine anyway!
it's was -40C here in Edmonton Canada for about a week and a half. We've finally warmed up to -22C today :)

Many are struggling bad with the cold temps, snow and ice here in the states. Texas, Omgoodness it’s a devastating situation! Here where I live, we haven’t had snow like this in a very long time! So Mother Nature has shown herself big time.

Clear night skies in winter usually equal very cold weather, especially around full moons. It's like this in Canada where I live. Your climate in Sweden is similar to ours. Your drone footage and skiing in full moon is breathtaking. You are very courageous to live the way you live. You have all my respect. Stay safe.
I like the term, “Spring Winter.” Except here it still feels pretty “Winter Winter” -10 to -20 F in Iowa, USA. Love your video content ❤️
The worst in Minnesota is March and April, with the mud and no growth yet, just brown everywhere.
The Swedish language is rich in describing what time of winter it is. Apart from "Spring Winter" which is "Vårvinter" in Swedish, we also have "Förvinter" as in "Before Winter", "Midvinter" which might be the kind of " Winter Winter" you @Sarah were referring to in Iowa, when it usually is at its coldest. Then there also is "Senvinter" as in "Late Winter". Mind you, neither of these words has got anything to do with the temperature. It is only describing what part of winter we are talking about. However rich Swedish when it comes to describing parts of winter, the indigenous people of Sweden "Samer" (plural) up in Lappland, have some 200+ words just for snow.
We call it early spring here in New England when the birds, both wild and domestic, start breeding and singing a new song. On the warm days, ones above 40F, the sap in the trees moves a bit and soon a lot so that we can tap them and make syrup. It keeps us busy when there’s not much else one can do on the farm this season of the year. Love your drone flying skills. It really enhances the video.

What makes your video's extra fun for me is the star of the show, Ivar. I myself have a little boy, Hugo (22-03-20), and he and Ivar are very in line with there development. So nice to see the similarities.

I'm from Minnesota and use a snowblower, also. English is my first language, but I don't know all the engine part names, either. Although 'belt' was my guess, so I'm glad it was 👍. I had to get electric start, because I threw out my shoulder trying to pull the chain. But I keep forgetting, on the red switch for the power, which is On and which is Off. There is just the symbols of 0 and l. I have to Google it every year. O for Output, I for Input (which I think is Off). If anyone has an easier way to remember it, let me know! I also got very tired of managing all of the snow I need to clear. Steps, driveway, deck, entrance, turn around, front door, back door, sidewalk, more sidewalk, boardwalk from driveway to front door. Eventually you run out of places to put the snow, and have to shovel up and over piles taller than your head! Then you spend the spring and summer planning for where to put the snow next winter, and you move dirt around and spend lots of energy making it accessible. Then the snowblower breaks, yes, and it takes a long time to get fixed..... I know the frustrations! So even though I can't afford it, I got a used 4x4 pickup truck with a snowplow and learned how to use it. Best investment ever! Now I can plow out my neighbors and they can help me shovel the steps in return! It is very satisfying to have it all cleared. Good work, my friends!
