One of the best songs of all time... my son's a musician and he surprised me by recording this in his own style.. for Christmas.... it brought tears to my eyes..because the lyrics are so universal and we can all relate to them... to feel better... no matter what our situation is at this time.
I cry like a baby every time when my husband and i bought our house we went in it was empty he sang this to me and we danced later he commited suicede today at 62 i still live in that house and dance with my dogs to this song I never got over it
I'm so very sorry for your loss. My dad passed October 2016, however it doesn't seem like over 4 years ago. Now when we (mom, brother and me), we think about the good and funny times we had. Everyone has their own time to grieve, but one day you too will think of the good times and laugh.

She believed that she had the stroke from smoking but also from keeping her heart closed for all these years. I remember when she walked into my new apartment after her stroke and this song was playing, she started crying. This song means a a lot.
