Kobe gone mess around and raise the skill level of the entire NBA
Jay B
FACTS
Exactly what I was thinking. Giving all the upper hand to the whole crew!
Jay B
THAT'S WHAT GOATS DO
Jay B 👌
BITXH GET UP OFF ME Aye you're in the Google + NBA group
Kobe knew Tatum was special and as a Celtics fan I appreciate that Rest up Kobe 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
i wish tatum was on that chopper instead of kobe
this is amazing Im not gonna even lie... gives a closer look into what goes on in film study
King Savage I hate people like you so, so much.
King Savage shut you're gay mouth weab
Ryan why
People who are critical on a hall of fame players basketball acumen are the same ones who ask for an extra shot over and over in horse.
King Savage if it was common sense then why isn’t everybody doing it ?
I liked how he referenced Rip Hamilton...That guy was a beast in the midrange....definitely one of the best off the ball players I've seen...
Oscar Angelo Abesamis Totally agree. Unfortunately because of the trend of the NBA, I believe someone emulating Rip's midrange prowess will be frowned upon by these franchises.
Oscar Angelo Abesamis shows how much he lives off logic and facts instead of emotions an hatred... could of easily never mention the mans name again after 04’s episode . He really a 🐐 🐐🐐🐐🐐
Ikr! The way he praised Rip for doing the simple yet VERY effective plays-off ball and sliding in the pocket for a jump shot. He's one of the reason why Detroit Pistons were a nightmare in offence after playing defense.
Mrgoodkenneth Average offense* “nightmare on the offence”
That's bec. RIP was a student of Jordan when he was still at the Wizards. Jordan made him a better player when they were together. Kobe's example was a good one bec. these are MJ's playbook.
Rest in Peace to Kobe Bryant one of the greatest basketball players of all time. He will always live on in the idea of him the Black Mamba his workouts his dedication to greatness. The death of Kobe Bryant had an effect on me that no celebrity death to this point in my life has, I was shocked and dismayed by this tragic news. The death of all people on board that helicopter including his beloved daughter is horrific and a bit of awful timing with the feat that LeBron James accomplished yesterday. There are players whom are undoubtedly better basketball players than Kobe Bryant, less complicated individuals than Kobe Bryant yet for me the effect he and his story especially going through the ordeal in which made him become the black mamba has helped me out through good time’s and bad. The enduring legacy of Kobe Bryant to me even after his and his young daughters passing is that of my favourite athlete. Los Angeles Lakers Retired Jersey Number 8 and 24 speak to the amount of admiration that the Lakers franchise had for him, and the National Basketball Association as a whole feels for him. Yet my admiration for Kobe Bryant Transcends Basketball. The player who is my favourite Basketball Player of all time. He and his little daughter and all whom perished in this incident I hope rest in peace and that they are in Heaven right now.
I have much love for you Kobe Bryant Rest In Peace. 🐍💛💜
💔
"There are player whom are undoubtedly better basketball players than Kobe Bryant."
Like WHOM? MJ is the only one I can think of.
Kobe >>> Lebron EASILY.
🥺💔
Chilling to hear these words now as I watch him in the playoffs. You can definitely see Kobe’s influence.
kobe giving him the keys to kill the cavs even more😳
The Distrikt Facts😂😂😂😂😭😭Tatum about to be a monster
The Distrikt Lebron aint gettin 5 rings on me nigga!! 3 nigga that's where you at, that's where you gon' stay!!
Robel Mekonnen yea cause he doesn’t have prime Shaq lol
Still feel like cavs are gonna take this one tonight though
Robel Mekonnen W
1:15 “Nahh this should be a bucket!” Lol Kobe was a true offensive killer! Loved when you spoke about and dissected young player’s game. Miss you big bro❤️ Rest easy
Kobe needs to be a coach
Marv Knowledge i can definitely see that too
LeBron and Kobe
King Savage its not just this video its just his overall knowledge of the game in general and knowing how to put your people in the right places to get the best shots good coaches know how to do that and he is a specialist at that ...its common Knowledge on how to shoot a ball but not everyone can teach u how to do it correctly
King Savage you’re just being a troll
SpeakHer right he is he probably can't even dribble a ball
His reaction to that wide curl is so raw I love that. He can’t deny his passion, thats learning and teaching.
I can only imagine how much he helped players like lebron kd and giannis develop ove the years.
I find it’s easier to miss someone when you imagine the world without them ever
Not everyday you get to hear a talking GOAT....listen up kids
Domo Gotti
I agree but he is 2nd goat
Most missed shots in NBA history
And?
Brian Vaught Still accomplished more than enough to be considered the 🐐, behind MJ of course
Kobe isn’t even better than Lebron or Shaq so stop right there
Finally the 🐐 coaching the young 🐐💯
Terry Rozier III Mithcell>>>>>
Kyrie Uncle Irving Channel Lit right now yeah. But Tatum has great potential don’t take that away from him. He’s balling right now.
Hey! Check out my newest mixtape on Jayson Tatum. I would appreciate it! Enjoy!
Terry Rozier III Mitchell is the young goat. But you're right about Kobe
Brandon Cosme Mitchell is already at his ceiling.
I wish Kobe was still here.
Is just like a nightmare
Tatum would be a more polished offensive player.
"Nah this would be a bucket"
I love you Kobe.
When Kobe brings up Rip Hamilton, I literallu went wide eyed for a moment. I was like damn, Rip might be the premier catch and shoot off the screen player in the 2000s. Good stuff. And good that Kobe can give a young man a direction to go towards.
I don’t see Rips mid-ranged game anymore in the league. He took high percentage mid rangers. Great guard to study.
Imagine if Jordan was sitting next 2 Kobe analyzing the playoffs shit would be epic
Jordan ain’t giving no free sauce
@@Firstnameunknownfr For sure
Tatum is so good to watch. Celtics should be excited
Hey! Check out my newest mixtape on Jayson Tatum. I would appreciate it! Enjoy!
Lol we are 😂😂
On behalf of Celtics fans everywhere I can assure you we are lol the dude is gonna be a top 5 player in a matter of years
If he comes out hittin some J',s & takin it to the rim strong tonight, they'll win.
John Ludwig you're right
One of basketballs greatest minds, rest in piece mamba
We miss you Kob ❤️
Who’s here today after Tatum won Eastern Finals MVP🙌🏼
Rest in power young king
After 3 years, Tatum mastered this. He pretty look like Kobe with this moves weew
You literally can’t get advice from a better player. Kobe was incredibly clutch, one of the greatest shooters of all time, and one of the best all around players. Very few players wanted to win more than him, if i was Tatum I’d literally be taking notes rn
Tatum you already killin it youngbloooood! Now listen to the goat!!!
not even close to mj or lebron at least smh
Bruh Kobe isnt better than Lebron or MJ
Kobe has better skills than LBJ and MJ. He just wasn't as efficient..
Aye Tony Kobe was literally a second version of MJ. A lot of the same skills. MJ was just a bit better at everything besides long range shooting.
Aye Tony He stole MJ moves. How is Kobe gonna be better than Michael Jordan?
Damn my boy Kobe is amazing!
I honestly see kobe coaching a team in a few years..
DeeTheSudanese Kid kobe doesn't wanna be associated with basketball anymore
SUPER DUPER What is this video about? Unicorns?
He’s so competitive he’s gonna want to be out there playing
Can't see him coaching. He had the mind of a team owner, not a coach. It's beneath him.
he coachs hes daughters team. but he said he doesnt wanna be a coach in the nba. but never say never
This the type of analysis I always dreamed of. I'm learning as well. It's good to know what to look for
Missing you, Kobe😭
Coach kobe
Kobe would be Proud… Congrats Tatum 🙌🏾
Kobe! I love what your doing homie! Keep up the great work! Your transition into film and breaking down players games is dope! Much respect!
Now this is what an NBA analyst suppose to do. Keep them coming Kobe
😢
Knows what he’s doing, knows what the other person is doing, knows the most efficient spots , knows angles down to the smallest detail. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again. Kobe was a God walking amongst men. Dude is eons way ahead of his time, He mastered his mind. Eventually down the line I know people will have the same mindset, but goodgollydamn I’m incredibly fortunate and lucky to see this man perfect his craft and speak
Oh my, 4 years later. Kobe has passed away, Covid has come and gone. Tatum and the Cs are about to take on the Heat in Game 7 ECF 2022. And man looking at this, Kobe hes fixed so much of what youve pointed out. Especially the coming off screens part. Kobe, i hope youre with him today, we need this W. He can punch his first ever Finals ticket. LFG Celtics. Love and Miss you forever Kobe.
Coach Mamba. The mindset, the attention to detail, the love for the game, is at a all time high. Clips like this is what kids needs to be watching day in and day out. I wish i had the luxury like these young hoopers today. This is gold to any player with NBA dreams.
Kobe this is the reason you would make an incredible coach; you pay attention to the finest details to make players more successful, thank you Mambo✌❤
I'm a Celtics fan and Kobe is one of the greatest players to ever play the game. He's recognizing the superstar potential in Tatum here.
I actually wasn't expecting one of these for the Celtics from Kobe. That's really cool that he is willing to help the younger guys in the league.
I miss you Kobe
Love u Kobe
The reason why i play basketball 💜💛🐍
miss u kobe this was hard for me to watch.
This is simple court awareness, know where u are, and where everyone else is on the court.. move accordingly 😌 👌🏿
Kobe da Don💥💪🏿🤴🏿
Still watching In summer of 2022
I want more
Danny Brown that’s what she said 😛😂
KushdOutKing 420 No, that’s what you said🤫
This is some real basketball analysis not the usual "Player/Team XY has more pressure" "Player/Team XY wanted it more" bs we hear on ESPN
Jonas Jonassen "if the rockets made all the threes they missed, they could've won this game"
Well no fucking shit
I love Kobe so much. I miss this guy being in gold and purple.
these are so valuable, Rest In Peace Kobe.
Kobe can talk all he want..I'm not paying for ESPN +
You're exactly right. This 2-3 minute was enough for me. I don't need a whole episode on this.
Right 😂 with my cheap ass
😂😂😂
Igor Bukhantsov the full epsiode is on TH-cam already
on point
Love these
R.I.P. was the Truth
Kambridge Jones He locked up Kobe in the 2004 finals
That oddly felt weird now that Kobe’s gone
Kobe did it, and now he's teaching it. You better ask your boy...
kobe knows what tf he's talking about, one of the most skilled scorers of all time.
Kobe is a bad man!
Love listening to his detail....
Tatum is a good player...just young.
How kobe breaks it down so simple and easy , it makes sense
🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐
Kobe should have his own TH-cam channel 👌🏾💯
Good analysis Mamba. Especially the Rip Hamilton reference. Probably the best mid range shooter I’ve ever seen off the catch and shoot. Salute!
Loved this
6 years later, Tatum is 1st team all NBA and currently in the eastern conference finals.
Wow, that Rip Hamilton comparison 👌👌
Kobe is a pro at video editing. I love those white lights/darkened background and rewinds he does.
Damn Kobe still the MAN!!! THANK YOU SIR for this wonderful break down
Kobe would have been the greatest coach ever
Kobe was talking like he was critiquing his own film “naw I’m curling too wide that should’ve been a bucket”
Respect the shout out to Rip! Such an underrated scorer of the the early and mid 2000s
this'll help my game too. i've never heard of these pocket areas and i play highschool ball. it's crazy, like, i feel like it's a new move i can add but it's such a small positioning detail. midrange is so underrated.
Kobe would be proud of Tatum rn if he was here
Rip is the perfect guy to study
To summarize... when coming off screens... you need to recognize how the defense is playing you and your main objective should be to get to spots that keep your teammate in the direct line with your defender. This makes it tougher for him to get to you
I'm not a Kobe fan but watching anyone great at their sport break down plays is always impressive and inspiring.
Nothing like watching a film breakdown from the mind of the 2nd greatest player to ever lace em up
help these dummies so the "correct term" is??
Damn man I really wish Kobe hits up Tatum to workout one day, Tatum already a beast, just imagine
KOBE VOICE 💕💕💕💕
That's good Kobe just spreading the knowledge making them better
I want to see him break down Westbrook stat padding
man, it's amazing how dumbshits like you get to say whatever tou want on youtube. the dude plays like someone went and talked shit about his mama every game and assholes like you still think he's padding stats.... amazing
jazz03 He's a hell of a baller, no doubt about that, but he's a padder as well.
ATOM stupidest shit ive ever heard. the way y'all talk ANYONE who comes up with decent stats are padders. so effort = stat padding. gtfo with that stupid shit.
jazz03 he plays for himself he said his only friend on the court is the basketball he wear shirts about his stats, he takes like 30 shots a game and only 5 are good looks, his teammates lets him grab rebounds for triple doubles westbrick is a good player but he care more about how he looks than Winning the game
Bam Bam good thing nobody actually collects real stats so you can blow all kinds of smoke out of your ass and people would belive you. /s
Kobe finna win another Oscar
Jorge Padilla i am illiterate. Im finna use that. Foh
💔
I love how he used Rip as an example. One of the greatest Catch & Shoot players I've ever seen. He was killin it with my all time favourite team. Jordan taught him some moves in DC.
Wow this dude is and was a serious student of the game .Amazing 🙌🏽💯
How does Kobe know everything
Every coach in the nba watching this like "why would he shoot the two instead of the 3"🤣🤣🤣 sometimes i feel like teams dont care about winning its just all about the 3 or the foul
This is absolutely amazing to watch
Great detail from a all time great player Mr Kobe Mamba Mentality Bryant
Damn I'm a LeBron fan but Kobe has a high shooting Iq I guess that's what 20 years of film studying gets you
YoungJ_ next Time you have a problem with what I comment then that's a personal problem dont be your negative energy into my comment make your own comments
No Ls let em kno!!!
Ray Prudencio worst efficiency per game they say he's clutch yet has more then 40,000 misses in his entire career most misses by anyone and they say he won 5 championship which he was only apart of 3 and carried 2 Shaq and Kobe the 1-2 punch who was your superstar franchise player getting paid 120mill? Shaq who was you all star help? Kobe. From 2003 till 2016 who was the most dominant player after Shaq LeBron James not Kobe Kobe was a great player don't get me wrong but he wasn't a goat
Ray Prudencio and no I'm not one of them guys that believe lebron better than mj because that comparison doesn't exist you're comparing sg to a SF 6'9 to a 6'6 best player to the best athlete the only thing comparable between them was the dominance in their era and no I'm not comparing them to team championships I'm comparing them to player comparisons
No Ls u need to do more research on kobe. He was factor in all 5 on the championship. Shaq didnt win until kobe became a star. What happen from 96-99? Shaq was on the Lakers. Someone scoring 40+ vs every team in the league is overrated. 2nd in the most 60+ pt games, Avg 40 in a month, 12 times all defensive team, 81 pts, 5 rings and lead a d league to the playoffs in the west.
His power level gone be over 9000!!!
HowardSide95 he broke the power gauge
Just Amazing.
If the great young talents catch a bit of Kobe´s desire to study the game and be better in every little aspect, we´re gonna have a pretty amazing decade to come.
i absolutely love this
Kobe is a better scorer than bron, more rings and better defender bron only better at passing
Jareth Cruz but lebron Average more ppg, ast, reb, blocks
Jareth Cruz Can Kobrick block Taigo Splitter like Lebron nope.Lebron lokced up the best shooter ever in 2016 finals Curry.
explain how kobe is a better scorer, when lebron averages more points while taking less shots.
Kyrie Uncle Irving Channel Lit Didn't Kd win finals mvp
marlon josephs Kobe played bench and was injured for a couple of seasons
HE BLOWING UP TATUM THE GREATEST PLAYER OF ALL TIME‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
Amazing analysis Kobe!
This series is gold for me
Kobe was better analysis than Nick wright and Shannon sharpe
Tatum literally plays almost exactly like Paul Pierce if his jump shot were quicker and he was more athletic. Ainge robbed the 76ers if Fultz isn’t what he was in college.
Mamba.💜💛
I like these film segments that he’s doing.
Congratulations to the Boston Celtics the 2024 NBA Champions.
Come on, Kobe. Celtics are already OP in the East. Why don't you give tips to DeRozan so he can stop stinking up the court in the playoffs?
He did one for DeRozan. Sometimes there is only so much you can do for a guy that doesn't believe in himself.
He already did one on DeFrozan
You can't teach heart.
PhantomoftheInterwebz perfectly said
PhantomoftheInterwebz damn.. ❄️
Miss you the greatest 🐐 🐍.
This is gold right here
