- Welcome to a very special video that I have spent a lot of time working on, and it is my top ten favorite secrets in all of Guild Wars 2. I am wanting to highlight a bunch of different secrets and hidden areas in the world of Guild Wars 2, and this video is the next step in that journey. Where these are what I personally find to be my ten favorite secrets in the entire game.

Bonus for #9: If you have the jade bot from EoD on your character, put down a personal waypoint there. Enjoy having a convenient launching pad for griffon while you're on that map.
My current favorite secret is the cat grave in New Kaineng City. A tiny grave lit with candles can be found on a platform above the tengu renown heart. Next to it is a cat. When you first interact with the cat, it will always drop dead with 0 health. This is a running gag at ArenaNet. During a pre-launch livestream of End of Dragons, while showcasing the New Kaineng City map, ArenaNet developers fooled around this area and accidentally killed a cat with a console command. The little grave is a memorial to the little kitty that died from ArenaNet devs fooling around.
Thank you! Some friends and I were gonna get together tonight to run around Tyria just for fun. You have definitely added to that fun. The bunny cave is gonna have to be our first stop. Then maybe the turkey room...or...

Extra info for #7: During the PoF beta, that ship was the placeholder for the Lily of the Elon lounge.
Great point! IIRC, there were actually two of these ships right next to each other with a small bridge connecting the two. Then there were like bamboo fences blocking the entrances to the ships. And then all of the lounge stuff spread throughout it.
For #8 event with bees is related to achievement called "" Uncanny Canner"" to obtain 20 slot bag :)
that´s all so cool! we only almost found the the room full of turkeys and I found the prison very early in my gw2 carrier. Near the city of amoon is a lion king reference where you can meet a lion, warhog and a meerkat crossing a path
started playing gw2 about 2 months ago and ive fallen deep. this game is vast, i keep getting caught up exploring around.

Despite having played acalonian catabombs religiously, I'd never even heard of the turkeys.
Discovering Martyr's event on my own was the moment I realized how much care they put in this game
Sad that the Caudecus room is now canon, back in the days, this was a really cool spot to glitch in
mine are the "Blue man" and before lws3 the "Caudecus face room" (which is no longer mysterious since it's now part of content, but it was for a very long time quite mysterious indeed)
holy crap the nostalgia, I also heard about guild wars 2 from watching the yogscast back in the day

Nice places, I didn't had idea of the 10 and the 1st one, tje bunny one was cute. I don't know if it's to cliche but I'd include the spot on Dragons Stand where you can see Rata Sum.
Fun Fact to #3: if you manage to get to the map border you can glitch your way up with a griffon and fly over the invisible walls.
I can't believe I've been playing GW2 for years and I didn't know about half of these! This game really is something else.

The coolest thing in this game is a guitar playing frog up on the ledge. I can sit there and chill with him for days.
The unfinished jumping puzzle in the catacombs dung at the end is my fave.
Turkey red room is not something I expected lol
Can still get to the polymock arena in RS. Found a map break myself just now out of sheer curiousity. Cool stuff!

These are so cool! Thank you! It would help if you'd live your mini map up in the lower right so we can see where to go, but these are still great.
there is something else hidden in the Ascalonian Tombs (Dungeon), in the last room after the Endboss, there is Kinda a JP leading into an unfinished area with invisible footways, just like in the Indiana Jones Movie. I really hope its still acessible.

oh man i cant wait to check out some of these!! i had to put off pof exploration in effort to try to catch up to story before soto (still in ibs, i dont think im gonna make it 😂), i really cant wait to go back n do map completion and exploration!!!!! aaaaah!!!!
Ascolonian catacombs also contain an unfinished JP near the boss area
I usually play casually so I do look for beautiful scenery . I hide the HUD type /sit and just enjoy the view I find it so comfortable.
there is a way into the polmock arena + you can still get below rata sum
Was only introduced to the turkey easter egg earlier this week but in the same instance I was shown the cut map (full of invisible bridges) hidden next to the Skelk Den
I didn't realize how much polymock was partially put into the game. Seems like it was cut late in development.
Yeah, I'm really hoping we get to see it in the future. It would be a nice chill minigame that would probably be great for people who like getting achievements and collecting stuff (collect every piece).
You can get to the Polymock Arenas by flying up high enough over the invisible wall. I used a glitch with the griffon to gain enough height
I guess I did it backwards. I used jackal to break through not one, not two, but three invisible walls in a very roundabout fashion... all over the damn map because 95% of the invisible walls are on very uneven terrain where pouncebouncing is nigh impossible.
yeah bee/bears was one of my first events since i play like 90% human characters.
Do you know about the dunegon path that they removed in Ascalonian Catacombs? It's at the last boss of Path 1 and 3 you climb up the stairs and there's a hidden room.
Set of other thingies which are not that secret:
-The hidden room in the grove bottom swim through the lake beneath the TP
left side of the Ascalon 15-25 map you have the hidden strawberry farm
The unfinshed JP in AC in the room where you fight Colossus Rumbles, run up the stairs in the back and find out. other dungeons have JP like structures as well.

the chickens are an easteregg from Zelda : A Link to the Past
Queensdal Bear Attack, when you have completed it you can access the vendor there, he sells a Jar of Honey (i think ti is) which can be used to upgrade one of the Bags you use for Inventory
Its a certain bag, and i havent done it yet, but i did buy the Jar so im ready when i find the right bag reward (i think tis from LW1)
If anyone can correct me on this or provide more info, i am all ears
It's for a Basic Collections Achievement called Uncanny Canner which I believe you can do at any point (it requires you to do some stuff in LWS2 but you can go to that at any point). You collect a bunch of items (including the Jar of Bees from this event) and then you get a 20 slot bag as a reward!
