Even if Amin's joke was long-winded, Izzy's decision to stop the show twice to address and then double down on it was no becoming of someone in Dan's chair. Then the multiple digs at Chris' weight while everyone tried to switch topics were low. If Izzy's plan was to be more tough and like Dan I dont think he hit the mark. As the leader of the show, your job is to steer the direction into positive energy and once you saw it going south, your DUTY is to fix it. GOD BLESS JUJU!!!

I love Juju. Amin was doing what he always does, he made an esoteric joke that didn't land and then Izzy blew up 3 segments. Then has the nerve to ask "who's fault is it REALLY?" YOURS!!!!
Those 2 definitely have a not so positive history of working together. They need to work some stuff out.

I had some mentors who used to say, "It isn't them!" (The disturbance you're feeling isn't about what others said or did, it's about your internal response.) and "If it's hysterical, it's historical." (If your reaction to something has more "energy" than it deserved, it's because there's something similar in your life--current or past--that's driving that energy.) Those of us who were bullied when we were young often had to develop a "cutting tongue" as a self-preservation tool. As grownups though, most of us need some therapy or similar form of inner healing work to convince our inner child that we're safe now--no longer a cornered kid getting bullied, but a secure adult who has the power to make choices and take care of ourselves. We're all at different places on our journey, and I can sympathize with Izzy, because I've been at the place he showed himself to be today. But may we all make repair with others when we've done damage to them and to our relationships, and may we make progress on that inner healing journey so this becomes less and less a part of our present-day lives.

Amin did exactly what he was supposed to do. He removed himself from the situation, cooled off, came back, and genuinely let it go. And even while izzy continued to overtly prod, he maintained his composure. Heres a life lesson for izzy: no one on planet earth ever has sympathy for a grown man crying. Sad and tragic, but true. No matter how he felt internally, it needed to be addressed off air.
Mike Ryan was the most likable he’s been in ages… Izzy got the most deserved 2 minutes in the history of the show

Izzy is already aware of his good physique yet insists on hurling fat jokes. Just don’t get the show at all.

This hour is easily the biggest advocate for the simple act of taking a day off every now and then.
Such contrived argumentative content, simply for the sake of making a podcast episode appear in feeds.
When the show was at the peak, Dan/Stu expertly toed the line between combative and entertaining and always kept the show flowing.
It’s obvious those days won’t be back due to the developments of the last 3 years, but you can tell the daily struggle to carry the show’s logo has worn everyone down.
Daily listener since 2015, still gonna be here until the wheels fall off.

@@codysterling9974Understandable, but the Amin and Charlotte comment was quick and done with a smile and tone which went goofy fast and included a string of further odd complaints as an intro to the their new show. This show was way too personal, angry, and mean spirited. Too biting, too frequent as to crush not a segment but entire show, and too aggressive and unforgiving. No way Mike would green light this purposely. Even the Mike villain was controlled ending with a goofy manifesto but never vitriolic. Most of the shows uncomfortable moments have a deeper purpose or intent with the subject matter. This was just personal all ending with Izzy interrupting the show to mention his reputation at stake. This broke out into the open.
The Izzy & Amin nostalgia hit this segment. Great stuff 😂😂

Izzy: Dan can call Chris ‘fats and info’ because…he’s also fat. He’s also the boss. You, sir, are an outsider to this group. What’s so hard to understand about that dynamic? The vain, hyper-image conscious, body-builder guy coming off the top rope for Chris is what felt wrong. Izzy was in the wrong, then when confronted with what was essentially a “you don’t know him like that”, from the whole shipping container on Chris’ behalf, he doubles down and goes with a “shredding for the wedding” dig. This was all Izzy’s fault.

I thought this was a bit but the further it got along the more I realized this was awesome.
Thats what the show needs more of! The “caricatures of themselves” gets stale and disingenuous. The show is at its best when people are being themselves instead of “making a show”. When stugotz truly is being stugotz - forgetting aaron rodgers, or “I’m sorry I’m not gonna apologize for that”. I can’t get attached when everything feels like a contrived bit, but when you give me something real…thats when it gets captivating
