About the speaker: Dr. Mohammad Qasim Khan is a clinical-researcher and Assistant Professor in the Division of Gastroenterology at Western University and its affiliated London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) in London, ON, Canada. He is cross-appointed in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. As a transplant hepatologist, his clinical and research interests include metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD), portal hypertension, particularly as it pertains to MASLD, and the management of cardiometabolic disorders in the pre-, peri- and post-liver transplant settings. He is a previous Steering Committee member of the Clinical Practice SIG of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) and Vanguard Committee Member of the International Liver Transplant Society (ILTS).
