Undoubtedly, you are one of the best chess commentators because of your technical knowledge and quick assessment of live positions and precise analysis of any position, you can comment previously boring games of chess really like a war with the increasing crescendo as the pieces are put into play because you understand what is going on! I have been watching many chess channels but yours is fresh and educational, keep going👏😊
Okay, it's obvious. Ng4 this move is just I don't know what to say guys I mean. This move never crossed my mind, maybe in classical I don't even see this move but in blitz for sure it's impossible. I mean, this is totally crazy. So let's start the procedure. 92% accuracy. Okay, this is just unbelievable. Blocked and reported. Okay, next game..
Dear Chessbase India work team I am very grateful to you for this amazing videos and I would like to see more of this virtual boards.Greetings from Armenia.
Marvellously constructed attack against strong defending. The closest thing i've seen to all out war against a citadel - only played out on a chess board!
0:45 Nb4 attacking c2 with the bishop is a bad move, white castles, black takes pawn but isn’t developed. What happens after Rc1? Knight would have to retreat, then what happens after Bc7 attacking queen? For one pawn white would gain initiative against a uncastled and underdeveloped king.
0:36 Nb4 is not a big threat because white has the simple move of Bd3 which is in a practical game ±0 just like the move c3. Edit: accidentally typed Nb3 instead of Nb4.
@@MichaelCheng628 Wow, are you actually dimwitted? I said practical game ±0 meaning that the players don't play like Stockfish 15 with 30 depth. But even if you follow the best possible line from Stockfish all the way to the end, it ends up in a draw. Why? Stockfish can't convert a half a pawn lead against itself and if depth wasn't a limitation in chess engines, it would actually show 0.0 with best play from both. Edit: Even Ruy Lopez (Berlin defence main line) shows +0.5 for white after the basic moves and yet it's one of the most drawing openings in Chess
Same, and also a commentator who focuses on the game and doesn't go off on long irrelevant rants about themselves. I also don't get when they show the facecams of both players taking up a major part of the screen with the board crammed on the side.
Mind blowing! I love how carlsen focused entirely on the king side and kramnik focusser entirely on the queen and the way carlsen got the knight from the queen side into play on the king side was just stunning! In the end kramniks rooks were soo far away from the action that they just ended up collecting pawns on the queen side while his kind side was being mauled by those four pieces as sagar points Also loved how carlsen just abandoned those pawns on the queen when he smelt blood! :)
Of course he is much more than 50% of his capasity. Its small margins in the top, and if you lose 5% you are out of the top 100. But 50% is a huge overstatement. Its almost like claiming he`s a 1300 player.
Kramnik should have taken the knight and run away with the king. Knight and queen collaborate well on the board. By not taking the knight you allow white attack to become more efficient.
What would be the following situation ? Its obvious for them game is over but for me it is not. If white moves knight to F7 and black king to e8 its mate but what if king goes to e7 or d7 ? Or did black just gave up cause he knew he would lose with less pieces ?
Does anyone know what is the exact model and brand of Chess Set used in these international competitions? It looks like a Staunton but i can't find it in their online store... please Help!!
Hi Magnus. My name is Noa, I live in Israel and really like chess. I work at a kindergarten and teach a kid that can get to 2000 in the elo rating system but gets tired. I would love for you to come to israel and take a look at kindergartens that have some great child players.
Pause at 7:21 when kramnik resigns.. He could have moved C3 rook to take F3 rook.. then he can move forward between king and queen of white blocking Carlson from giving check mate... Y did he resign
Im confused, black played pawn B5 at 3:18 and Magnus played Pawn A5 to B6 as if Black pawn was in B6 instead of B5, or am I seeing things ? oO Edit : I'm a beginner so maybe there's a rule I'm not aware of ? :)
Hey kramnik didn't miss Nb4, because A3 pawn could have easily threatened the knight also knight wouldn't have any safe square to move back😂(if knight had captured C2 pawn) Also Carlsen would have played bishop to d3 or rook to C1

Thanks sagar shah

2019 Magnus Carlsen playing blitz and rapid is the best ever; he was a total beast in that tournament

You capture with the Bishop.
Capture of the Pawn comes with an attack on the Queen then
Magnus is the world champion of chess and you are the world champion of chess commentary
fun to look Kramnik again, who also similar era with Kasparov.

Thank you, at this level of play it is extremely rare that these two would miss something like that, not sure why the commentator thought that
its not a threat, but it isnt 0.0. after bd3 and nxd3 , then cxd3, black is slightly better at -0.5

It was amazing how Carlsen saw those moves as you said. He played a similar game against Anand recently watch that too.
Great game and enthusiastic commentary made this a great watch. I wasn’t sure Nb4 at start of game was as crushing as commentary?
Wow, very entertaining and insightful commentary. Great job!

Unpopular opinion : I prefer these kind of videos without commentary.
Then mute the audio and watch
You can just mute the audio, not like you need it to watch a chess match
Carlsen play with beauty.. Like an eagle.. attack slowly slowly and then grab the position without a comeback chance to opponent.

It was white's move... first white would have exchanged a rook, and then Rook takes g7... now Rg8 -> mate or wins the queen.
What to do what to do in this position, Pepe Cuenca look at this position
Good commentary but ned not try to excite the audience too much ....
