- Magnus Carlsen, the current World Champion, was pitted against Vladimir Kramnik, former World Champion, at the World Blitz Championships 2019. Carlsen essayed the London System and the position looked round about even. But just when all looked equal, Carlsen started to make some amazing positional decisions. It's a game from which you can learn a lot. IM Sagar Shah explains to you with his fast paced commentary.

Not really, saying that C2 was a Threat is false lmfao.@0:37, there was never any Threat.
watching magnus play 100/100, watching magnus play with sagar shah's commentary 110/100
Sagar finally found a way to do offline commentary.... Bravo
It would be touch to do that live. Only Magnus can think that fast.

Undoubtedly, you are one of the best chess commentators because of your technical knowledge and quick assessment of live positions and precise analysis of any position, you can comment previously boring games of chess really like a war with the increasing crescendo as the pieces are put into play because you understand what is going on! I have been watching many chess channels but yours is fresh and educational, keep going👏😊

@@ixinorwhy u hating so much bro? Literally typing the same shit to every comment. Nobody is perfect
after this game Kramnik reported Magnus.
What an incredible play by play. You, sir are my new favorite chess commentator :)
Okay, it's obvious. Ng4 this move is just I don't know what to say guys I mean. This move never crossed my mind, maybe in classical I don't even see this move but in blitz for sure it's impossible. I mean, this is totally crazy. So let's start the procedure. 92% accuracy. Okay, this is just unbelievable. Blocked and reported. Okay, next game..
Dear Chessbase India work team I am very grateful to you for this amazing videos and I would like to see more of this virtual boards.Greetings from Armenia.
Love to watch these type of videos❤️
Loved the new type of content
Thanks sagar shah
Marvellously constructed attack against strong defending. The closest thing i've seen to all out war against a citadel - only played out on a chess board!
I've found how I like my chess. Board center screen + commentator.
Same, and also a commentator who focuses on the game and doesn't go off on long irrelevant rants about themselves. I also don't get when they show the facecams of both players taking up a major part of the screen with the board crammed on the side.

At last Sagar Shah "What A Game" & What All The Viewers Think Of "What A Commentary "🔥❤️😂👏
Magnus is the world champion of chess and you are the world champion of chess commentary
Thank you so much chessbase india for such wonderful content with awesome commentary
fun to look Kramnik again, who also similar era with Kasparov.
I don't know much about chess but I feel the commentary helps me engage with the match more than usual
0:45 Nb4 attacking c2 with the bishop is a bad move, white castles, black takes pawn but isn’t developed. What happens after Rc1? Knight would have to retreat, then what happens after Bc7 attacking queen? For one pawn white would gain initiative against a uncastled and underdeveloped king.
You capture with the Bishop.
Capture of the Pawn comes with an attack on the Queen then
Carlsen controlled the whole game from beginning to the end...
Sagar sir aisehi commentary karo, aur mazza aata hai dekhne mein
Excellent narrator, I enjoyed the blow by blow comments.
Salute to kramnik
He's not even in his 50% capacity still plays for the fun of the game and even some how holds magnus Carlson
Of course he is much more than 50% of his capasity. Its small margins in the top, and if you lose 5% you are out of the top 100.
But 50% is a huge overstatement. Its almost like claiming he`s a 1300 player.
Honestly this is my favourite channel because its so inspiring even the name of the channel is so inspiring i like it , its based
Wow, very entertaining and insightful commentary. Great job!
Very well done Sagar Shah.....nice game by Magnus and Vladimir👍
Mind blowing! I love how carlsen focused entirely on the king side and kramnik focusser entirely on the queen and the way carlsen got the knight from the queen side into play on the king side was just stunning!
In the end kramniks rooks were soo far away from the action that they just ended up collecting pawns on the queen side while his kind side was being mauled by those four pieces as sagar points
Also loved how carlsen just abandoned those pawns on the queen when he smelt blood! :)
Last few seconds was so thrilling!
0:36 Nb4 is not a big threat because white has the simple move of Bd3 which is in a practical game ±0 just like the move c3.
Edit: accidentally typed Nb3 instead of Nb4.
thank you...
Thank you, at this level of play it is extremely rare that these two would miss something like that, not sure why the commentator thought that
its not a threat, but it isnt 0.0. after bd3 and nxd3 , then cxd3, black is slightly better at -0.5
@@MichaelCheng628 Wow, are you actually dimwitted? I said practical game ±0 meaning that the players don't play like Stockfish 15 with 30 depth. But even if you follow the best possible line from Stockfish all the way to the end, it ends up in a draw. Why? Stockfish can't convert a half a pawn lead against itself and if depth wasn't a limitation in chess engines, it would actually show 0.0 with best play from both.
Edit: Even Ruy Lopez (Berlin defence main line) shows +0.5 for white after the basic moves and yet it's one of the most drawing openings in Chess
@@Rikuzki no need for insults mom
Excellent commentary, 2d chart and gameplay from Carlsen.
I wish all of chess was commented this way. This guy deserves a pay raise.
What a attack 😱😱
#Suggestion Sagar bhai WATCH NIHAL VS FRANCESCO SONIS MATCH 2 of semi finals under 18 World championship
Saghar is great, turns chess into a hockey game, kudos from Canada!
Thrilling.
Nicely made video
Sagar shah at its best commentary in chess
i like the commentary a lot because I'm not that good at chess.. it helps me understand the stakes better. Thanks
Exciting game and commentary, thank you!

Nice commentary 👍
Interesting 🤨 😂😂😂
this helped in my summer assignment 😄
I love the commentary
Best. Commentator. Ever.
What to do what to do in this position, Pepe Cuenca look at this position
Great commentary
Unreal game !
Excellent...👍
Amazing game!!
was it not an early resignation? please enlighten me. Thanks.
Nice commentary
What would be the following situation ? Its obvious for them game is over but for me it is not. If white moves knight to F7 and black king to e8 its mate but what if king goes to e7 or d7 ? Or did black just gave up cause he knew he would lose with less pieces ?
Great commentary 👍, usual summary analysis at the end is Missing
How did Kramnik resign after playing his move????
crazy blunder in the beginning
i love how kramnik is wearing his ID badge. like nobody's going to recognize him. "i'm vladimir kramnik."
This commentator is like the Tony Greig of Chess :)
They should give more time...
Happy new year Sir
Unpopular opinion : I prefer these kind of videos without commentary.
Then mute the audio and watch
You can just mute the audio, not like you need it to watch a chess match
Epic commentary!
Hi Magnus.
My name is Noa, I live in Israel and really like chess. I work at a kindergarten and teach a kid that can get to 2000 in the elo rating system but gets tired.
I would love for you to come to israel and take a look at kindergartens that have some great child players.
How can i make such videos with games being played on the Board simulataneously with other videos?
DGT board
Sugar, lots of action in the commentary 😁
Are you Eric Rosen?
very good commentary
At 1:53 he said بالعكس 😂
Does anyone know what is the exact model and brand of Chess Set used in these international competitions? It looks like a Staunton but i can't find it in their online store... please Help!!
The brand is dgt i think
GOOD PLAY GAME
Pause at 7:21 when kramnik resigns..
He could have moved C3 rook to take F3 rook.. then he can move forward between king and queen of white blocking Carlson from giving check mate...
Y did he resign
It was white's move... first white would have exchanged a rook, and then Rook takes g7... now Rg8 -> mate or wins the queen.
Smooth...!
I am from Lucknow
Whatta a game
can anyone please explain me why he resigned?? how is he going to be checkmate by Carlsen??????
He is down too much material, no point in continuing.
KramNICKED Starts the Procedure??
Good commentary but ned not try to excite the audience too much ....
शतरंज का आविष्कार भारत मे ही हुआ था।
Who won
Can you make more about GM Alireza Firouzja?
Hey kramnik didn't miss Nb4, because A3 pawn could have easily threatened the knight also knight wouldn't have any safe square to move back😂(if knight had captured C2 pawn)
Also Carlsen would have played bishop to d3 or rook to C1
Where can I donate you sagar shah ?
The GOAT vs The Procedure Man 😂
"Procedure Gambit - Carlsen Variation" - Kramnik 🤡
3:23 wtf???? b5 then a5xb6 then Qb6 ?????????
can anyone explain it for me pls
3:20
En pasant
Im confused, black played pawn B5 at 3:18 and Magnus played Pawn A5 to B6 as if Black pawn was in B6 instead of B5, or am I seeing things ? oO
Edit : I'm a beginner so maybe there's a rule I'm not aware of ? :)
Caeluum this is a rule called en passant, it’s a French rule, you should definitely look into it because it’s an important rule to know :p
@@levitherat7443 oh Well I'm french so...great ! 😂 Thank you Levi
uuh lovely indian dighidighi voice wow
didn't like the commentry were sagar said that the bishop was usually superior to the knight. well that might be true if there is the bishop pair but with out the bishop pair, the knight and bishop are equal. eventhough, knight won 55% of this type of games
even one bishop is usually better than knight in endgames. Bishop is long range piece which can move from queenside to kingside really fast and protect a-pawn and h-pawn simultaneously if necessary . Knight is better in closed positions with many pawns when access to pawns is difficult and king cannot walk to opponent camp at all, but knight can jump there. Most great players including Fischer preferred bishop to knight. Bishop has its weaknesses of course to help promotions. Light square bishop + h-pawn against bare black king Kh8 is draw no matter how you play it.Dark square bishop cannot help a-pawn if black king parked his ass on a8-corner. Same pawns + knight is win.
I don't know what you say.
He's saying porn 😂🤣😹
Ok
No need for f6.. such a horrible decision I must say & also I saw first time kramnik took such pressure throughout game.
Kramnik doesn't age at all.
You know it’s really sad that Chess can’t be displayed on ESPN but we can have cornhole stupid games like ax throwing competitions but they won’t put chess on ESPN horrible
Commentate all the vids get rid of coughing
Kramnik plays better in classical games
Who won?
Carlsen, OBVIOUSLY!
