Honestly, losing games because of missclicks, updates etc is part of the online experience. Not letting it get to you is a skill in it self. BTW Jose is so down to earth, a breath of fresh air in the realm of young players. humble, grounded. hope he goes far. all Kramnik has now is bugs here and bugs there. will he apologise for accusing him of cheating? he is paranoid enough that he claims his computer is bugged or something. maybe next time alternate computers for each game. suggesting this just to see what he will come up with next.
Did you guys for real blame the problem on mismatched time zones...? Does anyone there actually know anything about networking? Proof in the fact that the problem persisted after the time zones were sync'd. You were on hotel wifi. End of story

0:19 bro thinks he's Mikhail tal
It's not a fair match unless both players go to micro center and build their own custom PCs before the match.
there is so much scope for a drive to survive style series about international chess
Looks like both parties went into this with goodwill, only to have their patience tested and their moods soured. Hopefully the rematch isn't plagued by technical issues.
As a Peruvian this is like having the first Peruvian chess world champion 🇵🇪
We don't deserve Kramnik. He is Conor McGregor of chess.
Mom can i have magnus vs Hans?
We have magnus vs Hans at home!!
Honestly, losing games because of missclicks, updates etc is part of the online experience. Not letting it get to you is a skill in it self.
To prove anything all games should have been online, at home with arbiters sniffing wifi and network trafic.
imho this doesn't prove much, but strengthens the defence of Jose, and shows he's a good sport
this.
yea and kramnik accused him using 3+0 and 3+1 games, but demand a 3+2 match (even in online segment), which doesnt make any sense, just give him extra advantage... but he lost anyway lol
I start to believe that Kramnik shouldnt use electronic devices at all. He clearly has some kind of phobia from them
Bot a phobia, but paranoia
Kramnik never fails to make himself look stupider and stupider
kramnik needs help. does he not have anyone that will guide him to get the help he needs?
BTW Jose is so down to earth, a breath of fresh air in the realm of young players. humble, grounded. hope he goes far.
all Kramnik has now is bugs here and bugs there. will he apologise for accusing him of cheating? he is paranoid enough that he claims his computer is bugged or something. maybe next time alternate computers for each game. suggesting this just to see what he will come up with next.
At 23:04 I love how confused Jospem looks when he is asked to sign the board at e4 which is of course way too small
Kramnik looking like some hollywood drama star
I don't think Kramnik is right with most of his accusations but I understand his point during the third match I mean the woman saw it too
Did you guys for real blame the problem on mismatched time zones...? Does anyone there actually know anything about networking? Proof in the fact that the problem persisted after the time zones were sync'd.
You were on hotel wifi. End of story
Kramnik experiences lag problems that gamers have been experiencing since the dawn of network gaming..
I've seen my opponents clock reach zero and then not flag so many times you just accept it as a reality of playing online chess or any COD type game .. 😟
Kudo's to Jose for beating him.
18:06 : omg Rey Enigma without a costume
Not at all. Miguel is Rey Enigma
Unc still has PTSD from the infamous toiletgate match 😂😂😂
"among other gransmasters"? Only Kramnik as far as I know accuses him, but he accuses anyone that beats him online.
Jose does that too
Kramnik is like Drake right now…
Kramnik Making Claims He Cannot Back Up, Season X Episode Y...
I see where Hans gets his attitude from. He behaved in a similar way when played against Magnus.
I'd like to see a video with a more technical breakdown of what the problem was, how it was diagnosed, why it occurred, how many games could this have affected, and what you've done to fix it.
This.
Based on the minimal details provided (clocks out of sync on each laptop), I’m guessing they do some lag compensation that compares local times of each client after each move, and adjusts remaining time to midpoint of skew between them
@@brotatobrosaurus5411 That would open the door to vulnerabilities. The fixes would have to be server side.
@@H3xx1st They'd be low impact vulnerabilities and fairly detectable.
And I'm not saying it's a good system, just what it sounds like based on the bug. In general, their software is very bad, so I wouldn't be surprised.
Ikr! i think my games are also affected, since i lost a lot
Jose is such a likeable guy
Please keep making these kind of documentaries. Loving it💛
Yesss i like it
+3
This is the type of content that gets me fired up and locked in.
Kramnik is just a sore loser simple as that.. one of the all time greats when it comes to chess but we will all remember him as the weird guy
Not really the weird guy. But the sore loser, as he is. It is so anoying seeing him always complaining.
Ok... Because it's a known fact that chess players are the most easygoing of people... He's a chess world champion, less than 20 people can currently say that...
@@giovannifrrri5495 I'm aware he was a world champion.. but that was not my point. If someone talks about Kramnik in 10 years no ons fist thought will be "oh he is one of the greatest ever" but it will be "oh that was the crazy guy who accused everyone of cheating, was a sore loser and was making a complete fool of himself"...
@@giovannifrrri5495 Also very few people can say they accused so many players of cheating without any evidence. He's indeed one of a kind.
even though kramnik lost , he never gives up and keeps doing the procedure.
Stop accusing jose dude...jeez...just cuz kramnik has skill issue in online formate doesnt mean he'd accuse a great player like Jose...he should just admit that online chess is not his thing and nobody will show hate to him
Jose is a really patient and calm sportsman, in the past day i saw kramnik photo and i thought what a nice and good man! Now i know i shouldn't judge someone by the appearance 😂
Okay let's do the procedure
BLOCK
Jose even after soo many factors against him, WON and did not complaint
Kramnick only complains💀
This is how chess will grow a story a battle between two makes it more interesting.
Kramnik accused me of using my microwave wrongly, he said I should put it at 3 minutes and not 3 minutes and 12 seconds. That extra 12 seconds made him lose his mind and smashed my microwave. So, a rematch between my microwave and mr Kramnik isnt possible then.
Great video. I mean, you can say all you want about Kramnik but he sure gives us content 😅
Stressful content?
Kramnik tripping
31:36 I love the symbolism:
Kramnik descending and running away (some were real tech issues but others were just excuses as he had already got a losing position on the board)
Jose Martinez Alcantara, standing like a final boss.
Overlooking the fact that the 'real tech issues' and dealing with them certainly wasn't conducive to best play. It's like playing football on a pitch with gopher holes... sure it can affect either side, but the conditions ruin the chance for a truly 'fair' match...
@@jeremycraft2445 you’re missing Jose ALSO had tech issues. It happens all the time. Jospem is better prepared for them, because every pro player knows an estimate of how much time they have been thinking on a move.
@@Smileater But it wasn't 'a move' Kramnik's time was showing incorrectly indicating that he had only a few seconds for the rest of the game when he had actually had around 20. That's a pretty significant difference. And I don't recall the documentary mentioning Jose having the same kind of issues? In fact they specifically stated that Jose's laptop HAD all the updates while Kramnik's did not. Either way the point is, it wasn't a level playing field, and thus we cannot really accept the conclusion without doubts. That's the shame of it all, the event left everyone dissatisfied.
@@jeremycraft2445 Even with those matches voided, Jose won
@@degew9367 You don't think the issues affected Kramnik's play? (and didn't Kramnik win the rematch?)
So much fun." I'm hoooome Lucy!" Ricky Ricardo
David and Goliath...thats all i have to say
Perfect title or way to sum it up
The way people were happy and enjoying the moment.... Tells us that no one was supporting kramnik...😂😂😂 All they want was drams😂😂.... The way arbiter was talking to him... Before he was smiling then he controlled his smile then start talking 😂😂😂.... So funny
A rematch always being scheduled as long as I'm losing. -Kramnik-
I’m glad this is getting the popularity Jospem’s genius deserves.
Guess whos idea was to use freshly unboxed computers in first place
what an idiotic Idea to use new computers with fresh installs. of course there's gonna be problems. nothing ever works fully out of the box with computers. you need a battle tested platform.
Can't do that either because Kramnik says pre installed computers could be signs of prearranged cheating. At this point, Kramnik is making everyone's life difficult
Very well made! More mini docs like this PLEASE!!
As much as Kramnik behaves badly, I'm very impressed of Jose. He never lost composure; just a testament of his upbringing. Very classy.
25:50 he say “encima el va bien preparado” (kramnik is well prepared, he wasn’t talking about himself) which is funny cause in the interview with levy kramnik said that he didn’t do much prep
3:16 wild Levy
what's with those bs 'wild blabla' comments? He is part of the documentary and is the only person in the frame.
I think the true match would be how many excuses Krammik comes up with and how creative he is.
Kramnik is such a child..
